Established in 2013.

I started in the apparel design and merchandising field and grew into an interior based business. After Home staging for local realtors I turned my focus to residential design.

Business Owner

Hi I’m Carole Kerch, Principal Designer and Owner of Swell Design, based in San Diego, CA.

I started my career in the fashion design industry receiving an AA in Apparel Design and Merchandising. I Merchandised at Charles David stores and worked at Nordstrom in the Fashion Office pulling clothes for fashion shows. This experience led me to work at Victory Catalog orchestrating and merchandising photo shoots. In 2003 I left the corporate world to raise my 5 kids. With so much time at home, I cultivated a love for interior spaces. I found that designing a home that aesthetically works for both kids and adults was not only possible but incredibly fun. With a first hand understanding of how families really live, I helped my neighbors and friends transform their spaces. In 2013 I turned my passion into a business, Home Staging for Realtors and furnishing residential homes.
