History

Established in 2009.

. Since I was a child one of my favorite pastimes was to organize my aunts and grandparents homes.

When I realized that my passion could become a career I decided to make it happen!

My greatest supporter was and still is my loving husband.

I officially started my business in the beginning of 2009.

My method of working is client-​focused and to make spaces functional while ensuring that my clients feel comfortable making –what will be– difficult and emotional decisions.

I like to keep my work simple… always trying to reuse the materials that one already has, thus saving money for the client.

My ability to adapt my methods to the client’s situation while sympathizing with his/​her needs are my strengths.

My greatest satisfaction is helping others discover the joy, freedom, relief and peace of mind that comes with an organized life and seeing improvement in peoples lives.

I was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

Since I was a child my natural talents were recognized by my parents and relatives.

One of my favorite pastimes was to organize my aunt and grandparents homes.

I moved to the USA in 2005 and continued to organize for family members and friends.

I went to college to study tourism, but never got to work with it. Instead, I’ve working as a secretary/​administrative assistant the majority of my working life. I also worked as a nanny and with house/​office cleaning.

This background, I believe, gave me the base to be a good professional organizer. (and of course, my mom’s very high organizing standards)

Laila is amazing. She is efficient, pleasant, knowledgable, and professional. Laila puts you at ease throughout the whole process and makes organizing a quick and painless process. Laila helped me tame my paper monster (bills, receipts, tax documents, etc.). What would have taken me ¾ to a full day (because I have a hard time starting and completing tasks without taking many unnecessary breaks) was completed in a few hours with time to help me sort through assorted odds and ends. I would highly recommend Laila to anyone who wants to accomplish an organizational goal-​small or large.

I made the best decision to contact Laila. I have lived in my house for 3 years and cleaned the garage out 3 times. As I was going for #4, I realized cleaning wasn’t the answer and I would need to turn to an organizer. I read reviews and looked at websites and decided on Laila. On a Monday morning I emailed and got an response in a short time. We made a plan to meet that night for Laila to assess the «mess» and give me some ideas on next steps. Laila came in, asked questions about how the space would be used and provided options on what I could do. I admit the ideas were outside of what I had ever thought of, but as Laila explained WHY she was making the suggestions I saw the vision and decided what I had done 3 times previously hadn’t worked so I put my trust in the expert. We set a time for Laila to come back to help me with the actual organizing and over the next week I prepared by getting the needed items so my space could be organized. Laila came in to a mess and together in 4 hours we made MAGIC happen. Always before I had 1 or more people help and the project took days! Laila is a dynamo and had a plan which got us through the process so quickly I couldn’t believe it. I now have a place for every item and category of items (Hardware, crafts, entertainment, etc.). My garage is now a multi functioning space (laundry, storage, entertainment). All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you!
It’s weird having more storage than I need and everything having a place. It’s been over a month and my space is still on track with a bright looking future.

I’m very grateful that I got to work with Laila. I feel so much lighter and more at peace in my new room. Everything has a place. And I have floor space to workout (or even just walk around without bumping into things and knocking things over lol). She reused things that I already had, so there was no need to spend any extra money. She is very clever at maximizing a small space. My room feels so much bigger. I keep looking at it in amazement. She gave me a lot of tips that are very helpful. If you are thinking about working with a professional organizer, just do it already. It was more than worth it.

Laila is very patient and does a great job pacing you with your work. I like that she is flexible and tries to customize the system around your needs. I think she is well worth it considering how much we accomplished in two days. I would highly recommend her as she is also extremely reliable and professional. She is very upbeat and also can work with kids on setting up systems. I think she is very fair in her policies. I like that she helped me to drop off the items as well. She has done various extended training so you know that this is a full time professional job for her. She has the certification from the professional organization, NAPO, which makes her work a bit better than someone who may not have had that training.

Some think my prior review reads like an advertisement. It kinda does. But I assure you I didn’t know Laila at all, (except what I heard prior to hiring her).
I tend to post when things are really good or really bad. Maybe I need to work on that.

Laila was a great help to helping me get organized and purge through my belongings after at least 7 moves in the military. she is very FAST and helped motivate me thought the times when i would hit a wall. I highly recommend her. she is extremely professional and patient and did I mention fast! I have worked with two other professional organizers and she by far has been the best to help me all the way through. if you think they are too expensive or not worth the money, you will be pleasantly surprised at how much stress they help take out of your daily duties. everything must have a place and Laila has helped me through my journey of getting organized. At 5:30 am on Saturday, the morning before a dinner party at my house, I decided that I needed help putting away junk around the house. In a panic, I scanned Craigslist and found Laila. I sent her an email asking for help, but not expecting any response in such short notice. Not only did she call me back, but she was available and over at my house by 11:00 am.
She was professional, agreeable, efficient, patient, completely independent, and really great at organizing! I felt like her prices were very reasonable.
Another thing I liked about Laila was her straightforward communication style. In cases when I unknowingly asked for something unrealistic, she educated me about what to realistically expect from her services and offered good compromises. She has a very high standard for her work.
I found her to be very trustworthy, discreet and polite. I welcomed having her in my house.
She was also really good at interacting with our dogs. Her demeanor was calming to them. They quickly acclimated to having a stranger in the house, which is unusual.
The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because Unilocal lists a five star rating as «as good as it gets» and I really have no other organizing experiences to compare with so I can’t say this experience was «as good as it gets.»
I CAN say that I liked Laila and her service very much. I highly recommend her and I will ask her back.
