Most honest repair in San Diego. He will refer out if he thinks you can get a better deal. Truly puts the customer first which is extremely uncommon. Very fair pricing. Work is excellent, fast, and the highest quality. Definitely recommend.

I called John after cracking my iPhone 6 phone. He was able to get me in for the same day !! This was the quickest process I have ever witnessed! He came to my house and fixed my screen, he was very professional and helpful! It was nice to just get the job done quick and easy and for $ 90 which is a little less than standard price! Thank you!

All I can say is that I called them twice in two days and left them two messages and no one ever got back to me. Completely unprofessional. If you own a business, why would you totally ignore and turn down future business=money? And the most obvious thing is why do people still do this when there is Unilocal to let everyone else know what bad experiences they have had? Dumb.

John’s awesome! I called him this morning at 10:15, and we met at 11:00 at Starbucks in Hazard Center to get my iPhone 6 and my friends iPhone 5 screen repaired. By 11:20 I was on my way and continued with my day. John was honest, he said he had a few family issues the day before so that’s why he wasn’t answering phone. He made up for it by being professional and quick with his service. Oh, and the price you get is the best you’ll get compared to others in the area!

So my girlfriend just got her 5s fixed and it came out amazing! Quick too like 10 minutes! I was supposed to go and pull cash out for her to pay but he also takes card which was very convenient! I’m giving John ⁵⁄₅ stars cuz he was on time, quick, honest and uses the real quality glass and not the Chinese knock-​offs. Can’t beat the price anywhere else either!

I shattered my screen and took it to Apple to diagnose. They took it apart, messed it up even more, and offered me to fix the iPhone 5S for $ 130. I was not going to let them rob me, so I gave John and call. This man looks intimidating but jeez does he know his stuff. He drove to my apartment and fixed my phone in literally 10 mins for only $ 65. I am so happy with his work. Thanks John, you deserve the praise you get on Unilocal

Before I use a new service I research and Unilocal before I make a decision where I am going retain my services. .. Well it paid off. .. I called Johnny and immediately gave a quote for my daughter’s iphone 5 screen repair. . He said when you are ready please text me it is faster for me to respond than if you call because I am constantly on the road — I said perfect. On Wednesday I texted if he was available to meet me and my daughter on Thursday morning at 9 am at her dental appt in La Mesa and GUESS WHAT? He was there 10 mins earlier. He fixed it within 15 minutes. .. and now we have a Happy Mom and Daughter! Thank you Johnny! (He accepts CC payments too)

Let me preface this by saying I never write reviews. But I literally created a Unilocal account because I was so happy with my experience. I called John around 11am, he drove over to my office in La Jolla within 15 minutes, and had fixed my badly cracked screen all before 11:30am.
He put in a new screen on my 5S and gave me a glass screen protector. He took my credit card info easily and I only wish I could’ve been able to tip. So hopefully I can pay him back through this review.

Awesome work! He came out to my apartment this morning, he arrived about 20 minutes after I called and only took 10 mins to repair. He also gave me a glass screen protector! Amazing! I will be recommending to any of my friends that break their iphones!

I broke my screen and had it fixed with in an hour and a half. I got on my phone and called him and he came to my house so my baby could take her afternoon nap and had it fixed within 10 mins of arriving! Did a great job and even put a tempered glass protect on my screen for no extra cost! It costed me $ 75 and I feel like that was a great price for coming to you and promptly!

Replacement screen is slow at detecting my finger when the iPhone is laying on a flat surface, and screen wasn’t screwed in tightly all the way. He said if I have any problems to let him know, since finger detection and led is warranted. I’ve sent him a text (since he doesn’t respond to phone calls or voicemails) regarding my concern, and never got a response. I also never got a receipt, so for all I know the transaction and warranty wasn’t legit. Won’t do business here again. I rather spend a little more money for quality service and parts.

Set an appointment Tuesday evening for Thursday morning. Johnny showed up to my house early and replaced my iPhone battery within 10 minutes. It’s only been a few hours but this new battery is awesome so far. Great price and great service. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Shattered my phone screen less than 24 hours ago and just got it fixed in less than 20 minutes by John! I called him around 2 p.m. and he was able to meet me at 6 p.m. He let me choose the location which was super convenient. We met at a Starbucks near my place!
He was on time. He brought his tools, got to work, educated us while in the process about the materials he uses, and before I knew it, I had a new screen! I highly recommend him!!! He’s very friendly, approachable and easy to talk to, which always makes everything better.
I have an iPhone 5s and he charged me $ 85. It’s totally worth the quality of his materials and his time/​effort.

A big thanks to John at SD iRepairs! I called him right after it opened at 10:00am and he was at my place of work by about 11:00am. Within 15 minutes I had a phone with a fantastic screen. My phone was so badly cracked it was barely holding together. I had it repaired by a different company about 2 months earlier and it wasn’t a very good job. They used an inferior glass so that when my cheek touched the phone it would beep in people’s ears. John explained that this happens when a quality glass isn’t used.
I am very pleased with this company and should i need to have it done some time in the future, i will definitely call them!

Shattered iPhone screen. I got pieces of glass shards in my pointer finger to prove it! The horror! Even more horrific was finding out from my service provider the cost of replacing the phone. I’m pretty sure they wanted my left arm and leg, too.
Anywhoo… I contacted several places who offered the screen repair service. It’s enticing when other businesses offer mobile service — meaning they’ll drive wherever you want them to to fix your phone.
Luckily, I work only a few miles away from SD iRepairs. I showed them my phone and they told me to wait about 15 minutes. Within 10 minutes, my phone (screen) looked brand spankin’ new.
Definitely head to SD iRepairs! They offer the best price in the city and they work efficiently and quickly. I don’t think they provide mobile service, but I didn’t see that as an issue.
