Moving Help Bay Area

I hired a chair loader last week to help with a large networking event for the Wedding Industry. I found them through Thumbtack. The man that was sent was on time for 2 shifts that day and did very well in loading and unloading the truck each time. We were very pleased with the service. I recommend them for a reliable service.

Drew and his team of minute men are awesome!
We moved when my husband was out of town and our children were in school. Drew packed and unpacked my family to include putting the food in our new refrigerator and assembling the beds. Drew’s team is awesome I didn’t lift 1 finger, not 1 finger. I recently had a life changing surgery, and i couldn’t have helped even if I wanted to. I would highly recommend working with Drew again. Drew’s team is awesome!

Finding decent movers who won’t charge you an arm and a leg and are reliable are hard to find, but I found them. Jimmy and Drew were on time, careful, pleasant, and reasonable. They were flexible because of time restrictions and I will use them again.

I needed help moving a very large sofa sleeper from Brentwood to Walnut Creek. Drew and Jimmy helped me do it very quickly for a fair price and late on a weeknight. Then they offered to deliver my old couch to my parents house. Very fast and reliable, definitely give these guys a call

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this team of movers! They turned moving into a pleasure. They arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They moved our things (including an 800 pound piano!) without so much as a scratch. They handled my sentimental antiques and electronic as if they were their own.
I booked them for two hours and they were finished in about 1. Their price for two hours was a bargain, and I was more than happy to pay that plus tips for their incredible hard work and professionalism.

I’ve used this team about 4x now. They are always reliable, always fast to schedule and also affordable. I have their # saved in my phone for anyone who ever needs help.

We were just moving one building over, but most companies wanted a 4 hour minimum and a truck rental. But these guys only required a 2 hour minimum and no truck. Dan and Drew showed up on time and ready to work. Dan is huge and lifted heavy items easily, yet carefully. The whole move was done in an hour and a half, and I couldn’t have been more satisfied.

Drew was helpful, careful with my things, easy to work with, and fast. I would highly recommend him to others and will use him again myself.

Amazing help. Trustworthy individual. He efficiently moved everything in my apartment into the truck, was incredibly easy to work with, and even hooked up the auto transport.

Drew & team were of great help on our move. They were ontime, and moved fast but carefully throughout the 3 hours they helped out. They used furniture pads appropriately, and were patient with our new building as they worked out the kinks with the elevators, unloading area, etc.
We did have one box get dropped accidentally during the move, and Drew was very up-​front about the damage and quite apologetic. They ended up compensating us for the minor damage, which I appreciated. These things happen when moving lots of items and boxes, but they were honest, hard-​working and I’d definitely use them again.

This review is specifically for Moving Help Bay Area’s customer service.
I put an ad on Craigslist looking for assistance with gym equipment moving and assembly. Drew was one of the first people to respond. I got quite a few responses but I took interest in speaking with him more to see how he could help and get a price quote.
I am first going to say that I have dealt with some pretty hard headed, rude and inconsiderate movers in the past. It’s made me skeptical of scandalous quotes/​estimates, attitudes and behaviors so for me to feel comfortable and confident to even respond back to him says a lot.
I feel more comfortable articulating information over email first because it’s easier for me to gather thoughts and send valuable information needed to get an estimate. He was extremely quick and courteous to answer my emails. I explained my budget needs and financial strains and approached him with a flat rate price for the gig rather than per hour. Now, most companies would of not even responded back but Drew took my needs into consideration and offered me the BEST priced, even discounted it for me, out of all the price quotes/​costs I was given from my ad. I also came to Unilocal and noticed his great reviews which greatly influenced my decision to continue communicating with him about the gig. His schedule was also very flexible which is a huge bonus.
In a nutshell, I was unable to get the gym equipment that I wanted (this had nothing to do with Drew’s company) and so I am unable to use his services at the time. You may be reading this wondering why I would even bother reviewing him and his company. I will tell you why…
There are times when you feel people have exceeding your expectations and have been polite, professional and considerate throughout the communication process. I am reviewing him for his wonderful customer service skills. Human kindness deserves appreciation and for that the least I could go is Unilocal him and his company. I will be keeping his contact information if I ever need his assistance with moving or assembly. His incredible prices are also another huge incentive to use his services.
Find movers that are polite, professional, punctual and affordable? It’s almost impossible these days. Thanks to Drew and his crew you don’t have to worry about any of that. They’ve got you covered. Drew and one of his associates came to my house to help with moving an old bed frame and installing a new one.
They did an excellent job with the tear down and new furniture assembly. These guys were very respectful, efficient, and quick. They did not leave any wall scuffs. The furniture was tight & secure.

Drew was one not only one of the first to respond to my CL ad, he also had a great price and flexible schedule. He showed up early and ready to work. When he was done I gave him a small tip and he was very appreciative. Did the job well and quickly.

Had a small job scheduled this afternoon at 6:30pm, the appointment for which I made around noon today. I was told it wouldn’t be an issue. I am in correspondence with an agent of the company as late as 4pm, so I assume everything is going to go according to plan.
So 6:30pm rolls around, and I haven’t seen or heard from anybody. I give them a call and speak with Drew, to be told that they weren’t going to be able to make it because they got another job. I wish they would have told me at 4pm when I spoke to them last.
This lack of communication is absolutely unacceptable. If you’re going to agree to an appointment time, then honor it. There are a ton of companies I could have called, but I chose to go with Moving Help Bay Area because I mistakenly thought they would come through for me. Now I am one day behind schedule and there’s nothing I can do about it.

These guys are soooo awesome! I’ve already used them a couple times as I just moved into the city and I need some arm strength and help when furniture arrives.
They are so nice and helpful. Their costs are beyond fair — wayyy better than task rabbit.

Drew and crew are AMAZING!!!
They sure took care of business… they actually answered the phone and were to my house within an hour! They worked their tails off, and with a smile! SO POLITE AND KIND!
They hauled a 200 lb armoire for me up an unfriendly amount of stairs and even built a large shelving unit for me, too. Quickly and efficiently. Did a GREAT job on the shelves — sturdy and done right!
They are truly wonderful and highly recommend. Will use them again and refer my neighbors to them!
