Didn’t know who I was going to use for my parents move in downsizing from their home to a senior assisted living complex.
Luckily, I found Pedro’s Moving Services listed in the Diamond Certified website with positive
ratings. I gave the company a call and scheduled an appointment and Pedro himself came out to assess the move and provided me with a quotation. Also, Better Business Bureau (BBB) rated them A+
Pedro’s Moving Services did the move on Saturday/​May 28, 2016 and made my parents move
easy and stress free. Alex and Juan were Great — Very Professional and Respectful. They’re
diligent in handling the furniture, fragile Items and paintings.
Moving accomplished on schedule, damage free and within the moving quotation budget.

Jessie and Chava did our move from our home to storage. These guys just keep moving. Never stopping. We made our quote and tipped.
Wish they had bubble wrap to handle some fragile items. But we did not request in advance either.

From the get-​go, Pedro was attentive and responsive in ensuring that he had all the details of our move from SF to San Rafael. On the move day, we were so impressed by the positivity of his team and the efficient way they all worked together to get the job done. With smiles the whole time, they got us out of our San Francisco condo and into our new house in Marin County within six hours. They made the moving day process fun which isn’t an easy feat. I’m writing this review 8 months after the fact, but finally get to this item on my to-​do list because that’s how great experience was. Pedro, your team of movers are the absolute best! I hope they get rewarded for all of their hard work and positive reviews!

I used Pedro’s service for a move from the Bay Area to LA. I needed a day turn around and they were able to accommodate me. The movers came to my storage unit, done in a few hours then met me at my place the next day in LA with all of my things in its normal state. They moved my things in fast and were very delicate with my belongs. They also put my bed together and put boxes in my storage unit at my complex. I’m so glad I hired them because they took care of my needs from the beginning to the end. Moving sucks, but if you hire Pedro’s moving, it’s so much better.

We moved again, sorry for the delayed reviews. Again Pedro’s came through. This time, I was in a real pinch and requested help packing too. Very well done. Pedro sent us an excellent team for packing on day one and the team returned and moved us on day two. Thank you, Pedro and the whole moving team.

We hired Pedro’s pretty last minute when we realized we really needed help moving from our 1 br in san francisco to Berkeley. After pricing out trucks and hiring help and the time it would take us we realized it was well worth the little extra investment it would be to have a one source solution. The accommodated our date and time perfectly and showed up right on time even though it was bad weather. The two movers Santiego and Pancho were super friendly and quick. They did a great job with all of our stuff and made sure to secure things better than we had. Sooo glad we did this and cannot believe we thought we would do it all ourselves. We were moved in by 12p to our new house. I cannot imagine how late it would have been had we attempted this ourselves.

Pedro’s was great! Scheduling was easy and Luis and Francisco were a pleasure to work with. They were a little late (hey — Bay Area traffic — no surprise) but they called me to let me know. They went right to work and paid attention to every detail. I’ve worked with other movers and this was pleasure instead of the usual pain. Very professional and happy to accommodate some special requests that this move required. A little more expensive than the other guys but worth every penny! Thanks Luis and Francisco!

Pedro’s was great!
We had a last minute move and were nervous about timing. They managed to get us fit on the schedule no problem. The great customer service put us at ease.
We had a few very heavy items (a 400lb stove) which were moved flawlessly with no damage. I’m not sure how they did it, but it was nothing short of amazing.
I highly recommend Pedros. This is as good as it gets!

Top Shelf !! They Moved our stuff from a big home full garage and they haul as well !! Fast efficient nice prices and great customer service. via text mostly but still worked .They traveled to Oakland up stairs carefully wrapped and unwrapped stuff and were very prepared. We’ve used them a few times for different things these guys are worth it!

Pedro is an honest guy. His workers are hard-​working and honest — good guys who I sat with part of the time and got to know them. They are the innocent and honesty of this operation. Be upfront with your moving requirements and they will meet them. Try to confirm with their new office arrangment for any special requests. Pedro will do the best to meet your criteria. THere is a reason he has 5-​stars here and it has to do with HONESTY and INTEGRITY. Pedro just needs better control of the back-​office to avoid any potential mistakes. Good job.

I sent message directly Pedro to get an estimate for my 2 bedroom apartment. It is a local move from redwood city to sunnyvale.
He said that he can come 2 days later @6pm. @ 550 I sent another message and asked if he is coming? No answer!
he came a little bit late at 6:15 pm which is ok but he should at least say i am sorry because i am late and o couldnt respond to your message.
After the inspection he said it will be an easy move which at most they will finish in 4 hours and estimated $ 815. I asked him what would be it at most and he said it will not exceed $ 900.And he said if we pay cash, he can discount %10.
After he left we discuss with my wife and offer him $ 650 cash flat rate which is just $ 100 below his estimate.
After i asked for the discount, the nice guy transformed to a rude guy.
He said no and here is the exact answer
” If you are looking for a cheap mover we are not the one!“
Wohoo, I am the customer ofcourse i will negotiate right?
Then i asked him what can you do, he responded $ 850 fix! Woww price increased!
Then, I just asked him to send me a written quote what services is included to see what is included in the service so i can compare him with other movers, so may be i can understand why he is expensive than others.
He sent the written quote after 3 days (meantime i asken him at least 3 time will you send me a written quote)
When i got the written quote, I shocked one more time.
$ 850 dolar only for moving the boxes. He especially wite they will not pack and disassembly assembly any furniter.
He is asking $ 850 to move 25 boxes, and disassembled beds and wardrobe.
Then i asked him whether they will disassembly at least my bed or not?
He said no!

Just look to the lowest review from Unilocal to see how he became rood if anybody complains some of the services.
When i asked to my collegues if anybody heard pedros moving why he has all 5 stars and i am not satisfied from him
they said He is asking good reviews from his customers! This is why he has too many 5 stars!
Think 2 times before working with this Guy.
If something goes wrong or you dont want to pay what he is asking and try to negotiate, he will not be that nice guy anymore.

We hired Pedro’s Moving Company to move our all of our event material (including many cases of wine, delicate auction items, office supplies, etc.) from our office to our event location at The Palace Hotel. We have hired Pedro’s Moving Company in the past, however this was personally my first time working with them. They certainly proved all of the wonderful things my colleagues had said about Pedro and his guys to be true.
Amilcar, Alex and Lee moved all of our things quickly and safely, and were extremely professional and friendly all the while. What I appreciated the most was how seamlessly they adapted to changing plans regarding drop-​off locations to accommodate The Palace Hotel’s needs. I will always think to use Pedro’s for moving needs in the future, and I would recommend Pedro’s to anyone looking to make moving a more enjoyable process.

Moving 600 miles with all of your worldly possessions is one of the more ridiculously stressful things I’ve had to undergo. If you’re lucky, like we were, the move itself won’t be stressful, merely the process of picking the right company to do the move (and by providing this little review, I hope I’m making *your* process easier!).
My early hunch was that among the, oh, 10 or so companies I checked out, Pedro’s Moving Services would be the best. And thank goodness I chose them and was proved right! The movers who were with us on the day of the move – who included Francisco Sr and Jr, Trino, and two other great guys (I’m terrible with names!) – were reliable, careful with our stuff (obviously a huge deal), nice and polite, and just all around terrific.
Pedro himself came to our house to give me a not-​to-​exceed estimate, which I highly recommend you get from any company you consider (both the not-​to-​exceed quote AND the in-​person assessment). And of course his company’s credentials checked out – not so for two of the other companies I considered! (Go to the US Dept of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s website at
to look up the companies you consider by their DOT number.)
Because his long-​haul driver wan’t available on our dates, Pedro helped me set up a rental truck (which I was just as happy to drive myself to save some extra cash) and gave me a quote for having his guys load up the boxes and the furniture they’d wrapped (and dismantled in some circumstances) on our rental truck. Before the move Pedro put up with my innumerable questions, and as we were making our way to our new home, he was wonderful about checking in to see how we were doing.
I so appreciated what a nice honest guy Pedro was and how patient he was with me, a newbie to the world of professional movers. I would absolutely recommend Pedro and his crew without any hesitation!

These guys are indeed awesome. I moved from a 3^rd story walk up to the peninsula. Pedro returned my calls promptly and was able to accommodate me on very short notice. No hidden charges, he gave me the price for their time and the gas charges for the trip. That’s it. His crew called and texted me on the day of the move that they were running 30 mins. late and were on time when they said they would.
The crew (Luis, Alex and Victor) were nice, efficient and courteous. I had a lot of heavy furniture to move down a long flight of winding stairs and I have to admit I expected some dings on the walls but was totally surprised how careful they were with everything. They wrapped everything with padding and then plastic wrap, then when we got to our destination they unloaded everthing and rewrapped some furniture I was going to store in the garage. They insisted on doing that for safe keeping. Amazing again.
These guys worked hard and fast — we were done in under 5 hours including driving to Palo Alto. I had a number of delicate furniture pieces that they were super careful with and everything made it just fine. I can’t say enough how great these guys were. Totally deserving of 5 stars.

Pedro’s team was AWESOME! We haven’t moved in a long time and was unsure of what to expect. Pedro was professional, explained what to expect, how long it will take and reassured me that his team will take care of everything.
They arrived earlier than expected, was efficient, professional, knowledgable, respectful of our belongings and pleasant throughout the 10 and a half hour move to a three story home at 78 degree weather!
We will be moving again at some point and will look to Pedro, Manuel and the rest of the team to help us again!

I used Pedro’s this week to move within the city. From the first conversation with Pedro himself, to the last box moved into my new place, it was a very pleasant experience (not always the case with movers) and one with no surprises (again a rarity). Pedro himself came over at short notice to give the estimate (and the move itself was on short notice) and took the time to explain all the elements of the cost.
The night before the move, Pedro himself called to confirm. The morning of the move, the crew arrived 10 minutes early and were already set up and ready to start at 9AM.
They worked very quickly to load up the truck and a separate POD we were using to store items. They made sure everything got to the right spot and took extra time to ensure that the boxes in the POD were well secured, even though that was outside of the main move. The entire crew was great. But special kudos to Manuel #2 who was the designated wrapping guy. Once he started, he took one break and for the rest of the time he was busy wrapping all the artwork, glass table tops, anything fragile. He never stopped! Amazing work pace from the entire crew but especially from him.
After lunch, they got to my new place and quickly got everything in place. Furniture was reassembled, boxes moved in, etc all is good time.
At the end, they told me they had broken one piece of glass — part of a light fixture. They told me to email Pedro with the cost to replace. Before I could, Pedro himself emailed me and assured me they would pay for the replacement. I ordered a new one, told Pedro the cost, and got an immediate response from him saying the check was in the mail. Can’t ask for better than that.
The final cost of the move came in close but under the estimate — no complaints on the cost.
So overall, pretty much as good as it gets when it comes to movers. I won’t be using anyone else when I need movers again and I can strongly recommend them.

Pedro’s moving crew, Walter and Maikel, did a fabulous job on my move. They arrived early to review my furniture and are quite patient as I hadn’t finished my coffee :). My furniture was wrapped and cushioned nicely as well as their quick and organized techniques for bringing everything to and from the truck. They even had time to disassemble and reassemble my bed as well as fix an already broken desk I have.
I highly recommend Pedro’s moving company and will use them in the future… but hopefully not too soon :).

Pedro’s Movers did a great job for me. The movers themselves were very professional, hard-​working, and moved fast. They were careful with my belongings including some precious art. They had great attitudes, and I would highly recommend them.
And the only thing keeping me from giving them a five stars, is that he under estimated the job by about half. But in all fairness, it was a difficult move due to the locations I was moving from and moving to. I knew it might be a little more than he estimated based on this, but never dreamed it would be twice as much.
Overall I don’t think you can find a better moving company in the bay area.

Super pleased with my recent move from Bay Area to LA.
First, we booked the move officially about two weeks prior and Pedro was very accommodating with our schedule.
The movers were great (Javier, Manuek, Jose, and Emanuel). Extremely professional, fast paced, and paid attention to detail.
Upon delivery, all our items were in the condition in which we sent them.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Pedro’s Moving Services!

Definitely the best moving company out in the SF area. Fairly priced. Nothing broken. On time. And they were so quick with ample staff. And very nice guys.
They moved a massive couch into my place when another company said they couldn’t — that’s how good they were.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else. You won’t find a better deal or quality.
Also Ruben, Jose, valente, and Manuel were the best. Could not have been accomplished as well without these guys.
