We were lucky enough to be invited to a 50th birthday lunch at Straits Kitchen on Sunday. There were 18 of us and the staff were just sensational. They accommodated us all so well, were very attentive and the food when it came was TO DIE FOR!!!
I am in heaven and can still taste all the dishes we had! The Beef Rendang had such a depth of flavour and the meat melted in my mouth. The 5 spice calamari tasted sensational! The Gado Gado was fresh and delicious!!! There were prawns and a green bean dish. I can’t remember the names of the other dishes, just that they were wonderful.
How wonderful, another restaurant to add to my short list of greats!

A good honest Malaysian eatery. Easy access (parking) and good food/​service. This is a regular haunt for lunch, and I am yet to be disappointed!
