This place is a great place to hit in Fremantle! There are plenty of seats so finding a place to sit was no issue, even on a busy Sunday afternoon. The staff were super friendly. We enjoyed our food(the chips are delicious) and the pale ale was great! Plus, you can’t beat the view.

Always lovely to head down to Little Creatures on a sunny afternoon. Good beers, good food, good atmosphere. The free tour is worth it too, especially for those visiting Perth.

I did not have a great evening at this place. We were seated in the outside patio… big mistake. A group of gulls surrounded us and tried to get out food. It was really unpleasant. I asked the waiter about the beer, and he could not recommend anything because he does not drink beer(seriously, is this place a brewery?). The food, just ok, but it had too much salt(a clear strategy to make people ordering more beer).

Have been here many times and always have a brilliant time :) quick efficient service; friendly stag and amazing food — big serves for your $ and we always leave stuffed :) the cider is amazing as is the wine. Last night we went with some friends and got pizza and chilli mussels and chips with aioli and nachos and we shared everything and had a brilliant time — see photos below. Inside can be a little loud but the outside area is nice and quiet and a very pleasant way to speaks a Sunday afternoon. Reasonable pricing and the food is always spot on :)

A great atmosphere and really popular place to go for drinks. I really enjoy the Little Creatures pale ale and the cider they have here. The frites are also great, but the food in general is quite expensive(though probably on par with a lot of other places in Perth). I’ve been to plenty of gatherings at Little Creatures and it’s always a pleasant place — I think the staff are great and it’s nice being outside in the hot weather when the misters are on! Love heading there with friends, it’s a great location and I will definitely be back.

This is THE go to place in Fremantle, especially for any first time visitors to Freo and it’s not hard to see why! The whole brewery experience is just fantastic and if you have time, I would highly recommend taking the FREE brewery tour in the smaller building adjacent to the main restaurant building. The only tricky thing with Little Creatures is securing a table. Wait times can be up to an hour on really busy days and space out the back overlooking the harbour is small and at a premium as it’s the best place to sit, especially for families due to the large sandpit which keeps the kids busy until their food arrives. Food is consistently good here and what better place to enjoy a Little Creatures Pale Ale or Pipsqueak cider than right on the site where its made? If you haven’t been here, what are you waiting for?!

A Fremantle institution & the first place you take people to when they’re visiting or moving over to the west. It’s Perth in a nutshell, bright and edgy, buzzing but relaxed, hip but unpretentious. A former crocodile farm, the vast warehouse space reverberates with wild energy and the aromas of wood fired pizza and hops. Wash down generous helpings of their signature frites or fantastic felafel with any of a selection of house beers or WA wines. Great for any occasion, a quick bite, big group celebrations, family dinners or date night. As a bonus, you may be treated to your partner almost choking on his(otherwise delicious) nachos when two hot contortionist acrobats suddenly start their very stretchy burlesque act on the table next to you

Good food, great beer, cool atmosphere. Nice place ! Only complaint would be that the staff in the outside area where we were sitting just disappeared when we wanted to get the check.

Little Creatures is a feature of Perth. When I have visitors in from out of town this is one of the first places I take them. The ambience, the people, the beer, the food, and the weirdness all work at this place. Whether sitting out front in the gardens, inside in the bustling brew hall, the shop next door, or hanging out on the back deck watching the boats, or upstairs a bit more private, you cannot go wrong. You can get Australia here in the form of kangaroo skewers or you could have the best chili mussels available.(If you like chili, you’ll want the extra hot chili mussels as the mild starts off as zero chili). The Frites and sardines are a must order. My gf and I go there for just that, sardines, frites, and two pints of beer on a saturday arvo. The sardines come with croutons, apple slices, in a herb salad. mmm The garden out front of the shop is a great place to bring your dog as most people sitting there do. The bar manager and staff will bring water bowls for the pups and I haven’t met an unfriendly person there yet. The dogs have a chance to play on the natural grass under a shady tree while the 2 legged animals can enjoy a nice pint of beer/cider or glass of wine and some snacks or a fully meal. My favorite time to go is an early afternoon on Saturday or Sunday. Great natural light. The beers are pretty tasty as well and the staff know their beer. I really like the brewers specials they come out with in addition to their normal stock. These brewer specials are exclusive to the brewery and cannot be bought in the store. Over the winter they had a fantastic stout and now they have a really good summer ale called dog days. Sometimes service can be hard to get ahold of when seated in the main hall or out back but they are running around ragged. Many times I get my food quickly after ordering. Some very interesting people serving that are fun to talk to if they have time. Usually a little hippie, some backpackers, and very often international.

One of the most lovely breweries that has such a lovely urban chic atmosphere. For people who drink beer and cider it’s great and even if you don’t drink they have outstanding fresh apple juice that’s a must! It’s a great place to catch up with friends over lovely delicious pizza to share! They have both outdoor and indoor spaces and since it was windy on the night we went we were also provided with blankets. What’s not to love! I love this place and will always return!

I love breweries. I love food. I love Little Creatures. So therefore I love this place! The food is delicious(go for the pizza) and all their beers are great. The vibe is cool, outside seating areas, inside, or next to the water are all great places to chill. The prices are a little expensive but worth it. Being a musician, I LOVE the music they played. Meters funk to hard rock. If I lived in Fremantle, I’d make it a weekly stop: D

Little known fact about Little Creatures; if you go next door to the brew house(the part of creatures that sells merchandise) you can do a FREE beer tasting paddle. It includes 10 beer tastings, and a cider. Totaling over a pint in beer. And did I mention it’s FREE. :) Great way to spend a lazy afternoon sitting in the sun trying different beers. Particularly when out of town friends are visiting :) I didn’t eat there but my friend had the lamb ribs before I arrived with another group of friends. And they were so good they ordered a second lot.

Whenever I make the trip over to Perth I make sure to stop in at Little Creatures for an afternoon beverage and a drink. Weirdly I don’t drink beer but I can definitely appreciate the vibe for my beer loving friends. Apart from their extensive selection of Little Creatures beers they have a good wine list and an even better menu. The best thing on their menu is definitely the pizzas, the garlic prawn, the lamb and the pumpkin pizzas were my favourites. Also we had chilli tomato mussels which were so fresh it was like they had pulled them straight out of the ocean. This place has a great vibe for a relaxing evening by the water overlooking the pirate ship. There’s a play area out the back for the kids with a big sand pit and a cool upstairs bar for a bit later at night called Creatures Next-door.

Great selection of locally brewed beers, cider and local wines to choose from. Pizzas are a great choice. My favourite however are the frites with aioli and the waffles with rhubarb compote!

Good beer and so-so food. About average for a brew-pub, all things considered. Food-wise the standout was definitely the lamb ribs, which were excellent. The falafel was alright, but not nearly as good as what you’d get in a place that specializes in Middle-Eastern fare. And the bean nachos were fairly uninspiring, with the beans being far too salty and not well-seasoned besides. Portions are large, even when dealing with the smaller share plates(one per person is probably plenty). And prices tend to be quite reasonable considering the amount of food you get. Not a bad option for a meal, although the food quality seems to be a bit hit-and-miss, or at least it was when I visited.

This is hands down my favourite drinking place in Perth. I love the relaxed vibe, I love the beers, I love the view, I love love love it. The staff are fun and upbeat, the service is usually great however in busy periods you can be waiting for awhile, but with the view to take in in never matters! It’s definitely a not-to-be-missed place for anyone visiting Perth!

All I can say is one word — incredible. What a amazing place! The restaurant has an industrial/warehouse kind of feel which was buzzing. We came here on a Sunday afternoon, with no reservation. Every single table was full, we only had to wait about 10 minutes before we found a table when someone was leaving. As soon as the people left that table, someone had cleaned in within a minute and had us sitting down. Then within a couple of minutes or table was served drinks and we were ordering our food. I have never seen a restaurant so busy, and would have expected to wait to be served. But within minutes everything was all organised. I definitely recommend sitting up the top on the balcony that looks after the lower level, you can watch the kitchen and bar work like a well oiled machine. I was completely amazed at how much food was being pumped out of the kitchen in such a short amount of time! It was fascinating and definitely a talking point at the table. Being a Sunday afternoon, we all order pizzas — there was not one slice left. Absolutely delicious. My favourite was the roast pumpkin with almond dukkah. Could not fault this place at all. If I have any friends visiting Perth this is the first restaurant I will take them to. Will be back over and over again!

WOW — what a place! I don’t think anyone could be disappointed with this beauty down in Fremantle! Impressive and supercool warehouse vibe is the home to Little Creatures Brewery where everything is open and industrial allowing your eyes to wander over the beer making magic! Ample seating and fantastic views looking over the waterfront, this place is the perfect spot to grab a beer — or 2. The menu has a great selection and is reasonably priced. The pizzas are fantastic and they also make some pretty damn good nachos! I really enjoyed the Little Creatures Brewery experience and will definitely be back!
