Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful park views at The Harbour Master Alfresco on Marine Terrace in Fremantle. Share some delicious food with friends while you sip on a cheeky local wine or beer. An absolute must try is the impressive hanging skewers served over rustic fries — choose from juicy Australian prawns with chilli and lime, chicken marinated in tequila, beer marinated in herbs and Creole spices.
History
Established in 2013.
The restaurant design features historic images of Fremantle Harbour and surrounds to highlight the link between the development of the city and the evolution of the Hotel site. The Harbour Master derives its name from the first owner of the Hotel site, Captain Daniel Scott, who arrived in Fremantle in 1829 and became Harbour Master until his retirement in 1851. Captain Scott leased the Hotel site to the Government as a temporary convict establishment to assist in housing the first arrivals.
