Do NOT ever use this guys services! This is the first review I’ve ever written, but had to after my 70 year old parents were ripped off for $ 180.00 bucks! They had what they believed to be a breaker that was out and needed replacing or fixing to my understanding. My mom called KD Electric from the phone book and spoke to owner Dick Giguere who explained that a service call, weather it took 10 minutes of work or 2 hours would be $ 180 bucks which we thought was steep but whatever. Since she thought there was a problem to be fixed she figured they would earn their money however this was not the case. Dick showed up and in 10 SECONDS realized my dad just wasn’t turning the switch correctly. He had to do no WORK other than drive 15 minutes from Spanaway to Puyallup. This was something an honest person would have told an old lady over the phone, but at the very least after coming out he could have said hey listen. since there was no problem and I didn’t technically do any «work», lets come up with another figure. Nope! He charged her $ 180.00 full dollars for a 15 minute drive! Outrageous! What a scum bag crook! After my dad handed him the check and said «you know, you might have mentioned about hitting the switch properly on the phone», Dicks response was. «I didn’t talk to you I talked to your wife». Unbelievable. Like he couldn’t have told her to tell him. Anyway if anyone is dumb enough to give this guy your business. Goodluck.
