Patrick at Upright Electrical just completed a panel replacement and various other work at our property and we were extremely pleased with the results and level of service. They were able to start the work quickly, and each day I received an update of the progress. I greatly appreciated Patrick’s professionalism and communication and will use his team in the future for any other work.

Upright installed two new Cadet heaters into our older Cadet heater boxes. They were able to accurately estimate how long it would take over the phone, and said we’d have a little extra time within the hour (they charge for the whole hour). With the extra time we had them switch out some light switches that didn’t match, and they had everything in their truck which was helpful. They also gave us some advice on future projects. Staff was friendly. They said they are so busy right now that they don’t always answer their phones, so if you want to reach them you might need to try a few times.

We are renters, when the GFI outlets in the home we are renting started popping for no reason the landlord asked us to find an electrician to get them fixed. We pulled up Unilocal and found Upright… honestly, he was open the earliest which is why he got the job. Have to say I have absolutely no regrets, he came in rewired the badly wired GFI outlets, replaced the burned out receptacles and made it so that the refrigerator is no longer running off of a GFI outlet (this means we no longer have to worry about the refrigerator tripping the GFI.)
He was also very accommodating of my schedule, actually called me a half hour before he was going to be here so I could get off work and make it home to meet him.
Couldn’t be happier!

I wouldn’t trust anything you read on here. I’m pretty sure I was the first person to post a review, then all of the sudden, as soon as there’s s bad review, he has all these 5 star reviews? Highly suspect. I wouldn’t waste your time with this guy. He’ll cut holes in your walls and then never come back to do the work.

Patrick was awesome. I checked Unilocal results and found everyone like Upright Electrical Services and they were spot on. He answered my on first try and was quite busy but scheduled me in the next in late afternoon. Fixed my electrical problems checked to make sure everything worked and cleaned up after himself. Patrick and Patrick (the apprentice) were awesome.

I recently moved into the Tukwila area. My new house’s outlets were properly grounded, except in the office where my PCs were supposed to be connected. I got online and looked for highly-​rated electricians in the area. Patrick was able to make it out on a schedule that worked for my housemates and I. He gave me a very reasonable estimate, and returned to do the work itself.
I had a lot of questions about how things were going to be wired up, and what was going where. Patrick and his apprentice were able to answer those questions to my satisfaction. The new wiring is unobtrusive and safely insulated, and they even took extra time to label and test some questionable connections they noticed.
Overall I’m satisfied that I got a professional job for a good rate. This house still needs more electrical work, and I’ll be going back to Upright when it’s time to get it done.

Upright Electric took my phone call the first time I called (rare for other electricians, it seems) and had me scheduled for a time shortly after. Patrick and his apprentice arrived early in the AM to accommodate my schedule. They installed a new GFCI grounded outlet for me in the garage in less than an hour, and cleaned everything up to look great afterwards. They even labeled some of the unlabeled breakers in my box! Patrick was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what was happening, tested the outlet, and was very friendly. I would recommend to any friends in the area.

The other day the tenants from my rental notified me of a burning smell from the thermostat. Worrying this was an urgent problem, I called about 7 electricians to find someone who could come out as soon as possible. Upright had someone answer the phone (no voice message) and they were able to send someone out first thing the next morning.
I believe Patrick was the one who took my call and he was very helpful. He was able to give me a tentative diagnosis and also suggested what to do for safety in the mean time (turn off all heat). Also I found their prices very reasonable especially for the turnaround time.
He arrived the next day on time and was able to fix the problem (turned out is was some wire nuts that needed to be replaced) and also communicate with me by text on what was going on. Upright will be my go-​to vendor for electrical issues going forward.

Patrick at Upright was awesome. We received 3 quotes for our hot tub wiring project, His price quote fell in the middle, but he made us feel like his knowledge was extremely higher then the others and electrical is pretty important, so we were willing to pay a reasonable price. He made us feel at ease. Him and his assistant completed the job when promised and we are LOVING OUR NEW HOT TUB! Thanks Patrick, I will tell everyone and anyone about you and your service!

Patrick and his apprentice Denny were amazing! I needed to have a new wall panel installed and a couple of outlets looked at and he was incredibly helpful. The actual cost came in slightly under budget! They were professional, friendly, informative and quick in getting me on the schedule.
I would work with them again and highly recommend using them!

After the great experience with Upright the first time a few months back, we called them again for the lighting upgrade in our kitchen as well as changing out all the outlets in our home from ivory to white (we’d painted and the ivory looked horrendous with the new colors of paint!). They were, just as the previous time, professional, courteous, and informative. I was very pleased to see they drop the service fee because we were return customers! Couldn’t be more pleased with how professional they were.

Two days before listing my house for sale, I managed to mess up some wiring so that power would not come on in the entire upstairs. I called Upright 15 minutes before closing, and they had two people out first thing in the morning. Not only did they troubleshoot and resolve every problem I had, but they took the time to explain what they were doing every step of the way, along with recommendations about how to do things better next time so as to not cause problems. Very professional, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The outlets had stopped working in part of our upstairs. Not knowing electrical and having just bought the house, we went with the recommendation of a friend and called Upright. They were out at our home that afternoon. The electrician was very personable and friendly, answered all our questions, explained what had gone wrong and what needed to be done in laymen’s terms, which made us feel very comfortable in hiring them. We were worried it would be an expensive repair, but it turned out to be relatively minor (bad GFI outlet). They were in and out in less than half an hour.
We’re planning on getting some remodel work done soon and we’ll, without a doubt, call them for the electrical.

Called about a residential electric issue; seemed to be a power load or interior wiring problem because our upstairs lights were not working. Patrick was able to come out the same day. He diagnosed and fixed the problem (we needed a new breaker installed) and was done within an hour. Competent, quick to respond, and personable.

We had several electrical outlets from three locations mysteriously go out at the same time. (This seems to be typical with many homes built in the mid 1970’s.)
Mr. Hall patiently answered all my questions and gave me a very acceptable time-​table for the work and a very reasonable «ball park» estimate.
Not only was he and his apprentice early for the appointment, but he quickly diagnosed the problem to be a relatively «simple fix», which made the final bill pleasingly under the original estimate.
Upright Electrical Services will be our «go to» electricians from now on.

I recently had some work done by Upright Electrical Services and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. They were flexible with scheduling, allowing me to change my installation at the last minute due to a delay in shipping for
parts necessary for the job.
The job was completed by Patrick who was extremely professional. Without my asking, he even removed his shoes before entering my house. Patrick installed a couple electrical outlets for us, one for a TV to be mounted. He also installed a few wall plates and fished some home theater wires for concealment from an outcove to where the TV will be mounted.
Everything was completed promptly and Patrick made sure to thoroughly clean the drywall debris and whatnot.
I highly recommend their services.
