We read all the reviews and decided to give it a shot because we were moving across the country with several pets, including a hard to place dog breed, plus a two year old and I was 30+ weeks pregnant… so we wanted to get a safe rental house as quickly as possible and get settled in. We also had Michael help us but he was very helpful and gave us about 25 properties to select from and then after we made our top picks he went from there and contacted each of them to specifically make sure they would take our exact pets. We ended up seeing 5 houses and one of them was just perfect so we applied and got it and will move in within a few days. The whole thing took maybe 4 or 5 days total and worked great!

Seattle Rental Group and Joe Horgan helped us find a tenant for our condo and we were extremely pleased with their services. Joe was incredibly resourceful, responsive, and knowledgable throughout the entire process. He did a great job of setting expectations on all sides and we also referred us to some very helpful turnover services and contractors. Highly recommend working with them for any of your leasing needs.

You’ll see that all of the positive reviews are mainly for Yvonne. I’m sure she’s great. I’ll have to second the review about Michael. I called Kim in June asking about the SRG services, and assured me that I could do sight unseen and find an apt in Capitol Hill on my budget. I was willing to start the process early, but she said 1 month before is the best bet (I was looking for a start date of Aug 15-​Sept 1). From the get go, Michael was unresponsive, unreliable and did not bring any specialist expertise to the housing search. He had no interest in actually understanding me or what I was looking for. The «list» he sent me of 30 properties was also terrible — more than half of the places did not match my required criteria, and all from Craigslist/​Zillow. He did not prescreen them at all, i.e. calling to ask if they were still available, or if they would be willing to take on a tenant sight unseen (my favorite place he actually went to go see did not, and he instead he told the landlord she should raise the rent). The first video he took was horrible — it was so quick that I could barely make out the place — and I had to tell him that he had to go inside the rooms and move slowly. I thought outsourcing the housing search meant I could be mainly responsive to Michael’s listings, but instead I was on craigslist myself everyday, sending listings I came up with to him, many of which he did not follow up on. I could have hired a college student to take iPhone videos of the apartments I came up with, and it probably would have been better service. The only place that he saw that fit my requirements was actually in his own building. Nothing else. The place I eventually moved into was from Craigslist, and after calling, realized that the manager was great and had a good feeling. I had a friend go see it, I applied, and moved in. I love it. I must say Kim was much more professional than Michael was, and I wish she had taken me on instead when I voiced my concerns about Michael very early in the process. She refunded me $ 200 without my asking.

I received a job offer in Seattle, with only 3 weeks to move. We paid our $ 450 to this company for the out of town service to aid us in finding a home. We were assigned to Michael, and he assured us that there would be no problem finding a home in our price range, with what we needed. He sent us a few listings the first day or two, and we dutifully filled out application after application. What a nightmare, and money wasted. My spouse and I spent hours every single day running through every single listing which met our criteria, submitting link after link to Michael. We expanded our search radius, and our price range well above our top comfort range, and we still had absolutely zero luck with him finding us a home. Each application he submitted, he said «I have a great feeling about this one», and that would be the last we would hear for days, despite repeated texts and messages left. We put together a detailed introductory letter for landlords, only to have their realtors send us snarky responses about how we «aren’t quick enough on the draw», because their houses get hundreds of applications in 24 hours of posting.
… okay. We forward the responses to Michael, who says «Oh, they just don’t realize that you’re my client!» followed up with, «There’s a bidding war on the property — what are you willing to pay?» seriously.
And then again, days upon days of us sending links, and nothing. No responses. No word on any properties toured. No answers on whether applications were approved or denied.
Last straw — we found a condo listed on the company’s website, and told him we wanted it. Now. We would pay security, 1^st, and 2 months rent up front to sweeten the deal. He went and got video of the property for us. We reiterated — we want this house. It is perfect. We need this house. Response: «Oh, sorry. It’s already rented.» — no explanation as to why he took the time to send us video of an unavailable house.
The only reason Pointe 3 is getting more than 1 star, is after I emailed the owner (Kevin), he put me in touch with another rental service, which actually suceeded in getting us a house — granted, we had to wait about 2.5 weeks to move into it after I started my new job, but it was a house, with all of our criteria met. We got our application in, and that was that. Done. No competition, no bidding wars.
It seems other agents here are amazing, but Michael is not one of them.

Just finished my second tour with Yvonne and she was amazing!
I did the orientation tour and days later the apt finding tour. Coming from NY, I was completely lost in Seattle and needed someone with experience to guide me and show me what Seattle has to offer. Yvonne was fantastic, she answered all my questions and pointed out all the great places. She was very sweet, with a great attitude and made me feel comfortable at all times. Couldn’t be happier with the service, I recommend it 100% to anyone that needs some guidance in a new city!

My wife and I are moving to Seattle and because of professional obligations we were unable to make the trip to review available rental properties. We knew that we needed someone with local knowledge and good taste in order for us to find the type of property we wanted, in the neighborhood we desired, and for a price that fit our budget. What we go with Yvonne was a professional who has EXPERT local knowledge, IMPECCABLE taste, and the relationship status with property management companies to deliver on our first choice in one of the most desirable neighborhoods! Cannot say enough great things about Yvonne and would not risk a moment’s hesitation to recommend her to family and friends!

We had such a great experience with Yvonne! We signed up for the «sight unseen» service since my husband and I were in different parts of the country and weren’t able to be in Seattle to view places ourselves first hand. She searched and found us some good options and she was also open to us sending along any listings that we found. She went out and took comprehensive videos of the properties and emailed them to us immediately (along with some entertaining commentary).
The first property we applied for ended in a bidding war, which Yvonne consulted with us on. Unfortunately, we didn’t win since the owners preferred cats over dogs, and we have a dog. For the second property, Yvonne went above and beyond and reached out to the property manager and came up with a new strategy that landed us our new home (which was even better than the first one). She took a lot of stress off of our shoulders and we’re looking forward to moving into our new home.

Seattle Rental Group really delivered. Yvonne was wonderful. She was a joy to work with and really understood my wants and needs. She went above and beyond the call of duty — every apartment she picked was a gem — it made it hard to choose! And the fact that I have three dogs didn’t make it easy but she still managed to find a wide array to choose from. If I ever move again, I’ll go to them.

I have been on both sides of renting properties, both times working with Kristel Dirkes and she was fantastic! I could not have asked for better service. My first time working with Kristel was when I rented my condo out when I decided to move in with my boyfriend. Kristel came to my home, checked out the condo, brought great comp information and we went through a list of what I was looking for in a tenant. She wrote up the ad for my listing and sent it over for my approval. From there, she let me know every time someone showed interest and helped me find a good tenant very quickly. The entire transaction could not have gone smoother and she made the entire process so easy for me.
Fast forward to now when my boyfriend and I have decided to move out of his apartment and began looking for a house to rent. Kristel was there for us again and continued to send me listings she thought might interest us. When we found one we wanted to see, she was quick to set up a viewing. And she worked tirelessly and patiently while answering EVERY SINGLE question I asked her about various properties. We are happy to report that she helped us find a home that we are so looking forward to moving in to in the next couple weeks.
I know Seattle Rental Group doesn’t typically have a lot of listings in the north end, but I hope that will change. If and when we need her services again, Kristel will be the first person we call. Whether we are looking to move or I am looking for a new tenant for my condo, Kristel came through beautifully each time! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We are relocating from LA without much prep time. Easily, the smartest decision we made was to partner early on with Yvonne Svasand.
She immediately began locating and emailing us possible properties accompanied by her helpful, honest comments about each home and neighborhood. As we narrowed the list, Yvonne then hustled in person to be physically first in line for showings. And, soon after her house tours, she emailed us narrated videos that gave us full confidence we were making smart decisions, even remotely.
An excellent communicator, loaded with energy, expertise and a passion for pleasing her clients, Yvonne made the experience enjoyable and stress free. She flat out knows her stuff and is a dream to work with. She’s very accessible, always ready to answer questions. In a market where houses go extremely fast, we simply could not have found the home we ultimately selected without Yvonne’s steady guidance and dedication to detail. She should absolutely be your first choice if you are relocating to Seattle.

I worked with Yvonne Svasand as part of my relocation package for Swedish. Yvonne was incredibly warm and accommodating during our email and phone conversations as well as in person. She was also professional and efficient at creating a tour for me and she had my best interest in mind at every juncture.

I’ve used SRG twice. Each time the apartment I was renting out was rented quickly. They do a great job of screening applicants, marketing and showing the unit. This last time, Kristel, who handled the rental was great. I feel the speed at which the unit was rented really makes the transaction affordable. It may not entirely pay for itself but it’s really worth it. Can’t say enough good about them.

They leased my downtown condo quickly with great tenants. Ashley was great in the leasing process. She screened potential tenants as if it were here own property. Once it was leased Joe was always helpful in taking care of my tenants requests. They are very professional and easy to work with. I would definitely refer them to friends.

My husband, I and 75 lb. German Shepherd were relocating from Salt Lake City to Seattle and had ONE weekend to find a place to live. Yvonne managed my anxiety (i.e. stress) like a pro. She listened to our needs and fed me several listings — almost daily — that I could review and choose from. The fact that she managed all the research, calling, scheduling, etc. was such a load off my mind. It was one less thing I had to worry about. She found us the perfect place — and although there were other interested tenants — she worked with the landlady to secure the place for us. She was great! It also helps that she knows the area REALLY well and doesn’t waste time getting from one showing to the next — or wasting people’s time in showing them something they won’t be happy in. In relocating to the Seattle area from San Francisco, we worked with Yvonne Svasand to find a rental property. She really took what we were looking for into consideration and did a lot of research to provide us with many listings that fit our needs. We worked together to narrow the list and then she set up a great 4-​hour tour for us. We loved one of the places we saw right away and set up a lease the next week. Yvonne is hard working, great with kids (we brought our 1.5 year old daughter on the tour) and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her.

My wife, 16 month daughter, and I are moving to Seattle from San Francisco. We were introduced to Kim who asked us what we were looking for in an apartment, and could not have been happier. Her professionalism shined through and we were able to secure a lease in 1 day. It was an amazing feat.

I recently relocated to the Seattle area with my wife and 3 children. We were put in touch with Yvonne from Seattle Rental Group for assistance finding accommodation.
About 2 days before we were flying to Seattle we gave an overview of what we were looking for and Yvonne came back with a list of 37 available properties that night. We narrowed these down to a subset that were within easy commuting distance of work and fell within the best school districts with her help and were scheduled to view all of these and a couple more (for comparison) early the following week.
We had a 5 hour tour of all these properties guided by Yvonne, I must admit I wasn’t too sure how we’d get on as we were bringing our 3 young children along as well. However Yvonne was fantastic at both showing us around, answering our questions, and helping keep the kids entertained.
Out of the properties we saw there were two we really liked which were quickly followed up. We’ve just signed the lease on one of these less than 1 week after arriving in the area and couldn’t be happier.

When my husband and I decided to move to Washington, we were at a loss on how best to go about finding a rental. Luckily, Unilocal helped us and directed us to the Seattle Rental Group. Yvonne is just wonderful. Sure, she’s professional (and boy do I appreciate that), but she’s also one of the warmest and kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She did a great job of balancing my wants and needs with my husbands and we found a place that is absolutely perfect. We would not have been able to do this without Yvonne’s help. My fiancé and I are relocating from Denver to Seattle and had no way of making it out to Seattle to look for places. I looked all over the internet for a person who could help and I came across Seattle Rental Group.
We called and spoke with someone about our needs and we decdided to go with the «Site Unseen’ services. Next we were put into contact with our relocation savior — Yvonne!
Yvonne was FANTASTIC! She was open to looking at listings we found and also provided us with many good listings to comb through. After choosing our favorites she contacted the places for viewings. When listings didn’t call back, she kept trying! After making a couple appointments Yvonne went to the viewings and took video of the apartments. I can’t tell you how much those videos made me feel more confident about our options. They really help you see what you are getting into! Also, she gave us her honest opinion on the properties instead of dropping us in the the first place that fit our price range. She was very responsive to my feedback and got back to us quickly. I was very pleasantly surprised that she responded to one of my emails at a very late hour.
Yvonne was also extremely pleasant in all of our interactions. She has a very positive attitude and is great about calming your worries. I would highly recommend Yvonne to my friends, family, and to anyone looking to move into the area.

I recently relocated up to Seattle from San Diego, and Microsoft hooked me up with Seattle Rental Group to find a new apartment for my fiancé and I.
We worked with Ingrid, she was great, very professional. She took our recommendations and we viewed about 8 or 10 properties on a Saturday. There was a wide variety included so that we would be sure to find something we liked. We ended up getting a town house that’s less than 2 miles from my work, had 90% of the items on our «want» list, and was well within our budget.
My fiancé and I had a really great time driving around looking at places, and will definitely consider them whenever we decide to move again.
