PV Tree Service

Pablo and his crew came out last Saturday and trimmed two big trees. He is personable, smart, knowledgeable, and present at the time of the job. We knew we were going to pick him, even when we knew we other bids still coming. i didn’t realize how shabby the trees were till they got their cuts. A big Jacaranda in back and a mulberry in front street.
had all the big machines, took the cuttings. let us consult during the work. did 2 other neighbors at same time. trimming and a take down. and another neighbor soon, trim and take down. clean nice, I am quite the sales person. negotiated the busy downtown street with their chipper and basket truck. I was motivated by the rain expected this winter. and wind. trees too tall and too wide and hanging in neighbor’s yards. in the satellite google map I could not see the house due to the trees. all better now. more light.

Pablo did an excellent job today in removing my large palm tree which San Jose city had nailed a notice said it is must be removed. He and his team was so professional, I was very impressed. The price he charged was fair compare to other 5 offers. They have also cleaned up everything. grinding the stump and all the garbage. Thanks Pablo.

We have been thinking to trim down the tree in the front and cut down a tree in our backyard for a while. The quote from Pablo was not the lowest but it was totally worth it. Pablo and his team really did an awesome job and I couldn’t wish for more. We are so happy and thrilled about the whole process and the outcome. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any professional tree services.

Pablo came to give an estimate. His estimate was the the cheapest compared to three other contractors.
He and his crew of two came right on time and were very professional in their work. They trimmed 4 big trees in front and side and 2 small orange trees in the backyard.
They cleaned up nicely after doing their work. They were polite and courteous to our neighbors as well.
I will probably need them in next few years again to trim our trees. I will not hesitate to hire his team again for the job.

These guys are awesome! My wife and I got about 6 quotes before we picked PV Tree. There are several things that set them apart from the other guys. Some of the main things are that they are very knowledgeable of trees and what is the best way to clean it up, make it look good. They suggested options to replace some of the trees we took out.
Pablo, the owner, was a great guy. He and his crew worked quickly, safely and cleaned it all up when they were done.
PV Tree was very reasonable too. They did quality work at a fair price.

They come on time, done great tree job and do clean up everything. We cut one tall palm tree and prunning for a giant ash tree, also remove all small trees and flowers at backyard. As they have professional tools to cut and remove stump, you won’t need to worry about not removing cleanly.

Pablo and his team are incredible!!! We took several bids and choose Pablo. They were the most knowledgeable, easiest to work with, the friendliest, and reasonably priced. Pablo and his team are so professional, I tried various tree services providers ranging from 3 – 4 crew tree specialist to commercial tree service provider in my past 20+ yrs residence in bay area. Pablo and his team did a great job! They did the work quickly, removing the tree and grinding the root. There was one problem that there was a water pipe running underneath the tree and it was broken during the grinding. The team tried hard to fix it and stayed up late. I would highly recommend them to others!

Pablo and his crew are amazing. I have hired him 3 times over the past 3 years and every time I am very happy. His bid was less than another company I got an estimate from plus Pablo’s estimate included the price of a new tree! The guys work very hard and they are very efficient at what they do. They do a great job of cleaning their mess. They leave no trace behind. I always tip the crew. They deserve it. I cannot recommend them enough. His schedule fills up quickly because yes, he is that good. 10 stars.

I would give them a 10 star for outstanding service, if I can. Pablo and his crew are extremely professional. We had them come to trim/​thin two large trees and remove a few other smaller ones. Their price is competitive. They even threw in a few extra things without additional charge. After the job, the crew did a thorough cleanup and left the yard even cleaner than when they first started. I highly recommend PV Tree Service and will definitely use them again.

Pablo and crew removed a tall palm tree in my front yard. The price was competitive and the work was done well. His crew works fast and efficiently. He has a cherry picker truck, so that makes the job go much quicker (and safer) compared to other companies who may have to climb the tree or use a ladder.
He ground the stump down after tree was removed. The crew left the worksite in a very clean condition. I would not hesitate to use PV Tree Service in the future.

Pablo and his crew came out and did a terrific job removing 13 trees (including 10 incredibly tall and overgrown italian cypress) and pruning 4 others! Timely, responsive, thoughtful and thorough — couldn’t have been more pleased!

I have had Pablo and his crew out to my home twice in the past two years. Once to remove and replace two very messy trees and second time to trim and shape an enormous walnut tree in my backyard. They do beautiful work, even cleaned the mess off the roof left by the trees they removed! It occasionally takes Pablo time to return calls, but he’s absolutely worth the wait! Fair price, professional crew, top notch equipment. They are my go-​to tree service without a doubt.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK:
Based on all the positive reviews I called PV Tree Service to have a tree trimmed and shaped. Unfortunately I mentioned that it was a small job so I guess they did not want to bother with me.
After I left a message at their number (569‑0030) I proceeded to go online to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) but I found no information on them.
They did not have a website or any email contact information. This was beginning to sound like a work from home under the radar business.
Then I went to the California State License Board website (
) and to my surprise I discovered once again NO INFORMATION. In other words, they were NOT licensed by California Contractors State License Board, meaning they DID NOT CARRY INSURANCE NOR WERE THEY LICENSED. If ANYTHING happens during the time they are working on your property, YOU CAN BE SUED whether it is their fault or yours.
After discovering all this I decided NOT to contract them out to trim my tree. Besides this they never called me back.
If you are still interested and if they ever call you back, ask them point blank for their CSLB Number.

Pablo came over to estimate seven trees which needed to be cut back to the fences in the back yard, he was on time and his crew was very clean and courteous. They did a great job and now the backyard looks so much more expansive.
Pricing was fair in comparison to other Tree Services.
