Target Painting did a great job at my home with the interior wall painting. Start to finish, the work was handled with professionalism and quality. From the admin who handles Ibsan’s calendar to the last bit of touch up that Ramon applied to the base boards just as he finished the job, the work ethic of each individual showed. Most of the work around my home was to create accent walls which required a fine hand to cut around the wall edges. Ramon was quite skilled at this art. I decided to extend the accent wall color to an adjacent wall, the crew ran short on paint, and before I knew it, they had already secured another can of paint from the store. Also, I was expecting the job to take two days but was pleasantly surprised when the crew finished the work in a day. All in all, highly recommended. I will use them again.

Target painting, Inc. just completed painting the exterior of my house. It has been a pleasure working with the crew and the owner Ibsan since the very beginning. When Ibsan came out to give me an estimate, he was very professional and took the time to address all my questions. The Target quote was reasonable, and they were able to start within a few weeks.
Ibsan’s crew of painters was just as polite and professional as Ibsan. Ramon was a fantastic foreman. He always arrived on time and kept me informed as to what would be done on a particular day. I especially appreciated that Ramon always made sure to tidy up before leaving for the day. After helping me to find a good color combination for the house/​trim/​doors, Ramon made sure I was happy with everything as the days progressed. After finishing the job, he made sure I walked around the entire house and was satisfied with all that had been done.
My entire experience has exceeded my expectations. I look forward to referring them and using them again when I need to paint the interior of my home.

We got several quotes for a paint job. Target painting wasn’t the cheapest but it also wasn’t the most expensive. We were impressed by Ibsan professionalism and explanations when we met to get the quote. He also pointed out some things that other companies missed or glossed over quickly.
We hired Target painting over the summer to remove popcorn and refinish our ceilings and paint the entire interior of our house. Umberto was in charge of the crew and they did an amazing job and finished a couple days early. He’s very much a perfectionist and always addresses any comments or questions with a smile. About a month later, we noticed some paint peeling up in some areas and called them. They fixed it without any problems at no extra cost. They stand by the quality of their work.
I highly recommend Target painting and wouldn’t hire anyone else in the future for painting work in our house.

I had Target Painting out to my home to provide a quote. They came out and was very polite and even followed up promptly with a quote. However, in responding with a few follow-​up questions, they never replied, never followed up. So, a few weeks later, I called and asked to have someone call me. Nothing.

I agree with all of the five star reviews. I just had the outside of my house painted (and repaired) by Target Painters. They fix what’s broken and what our previous painters left undone. First, I have to say this was a polite group of people, no personal issues but not satisfied with the results. A series of events occurred:
–Wrong paint color and texture was used baths and kitchen — they repainted and admitted fault.
–Target Painting refinished my kitchen cabinets which they did an excellent job on but did not protect the flooring or counters or if they did then the protective covering were removed too soon because there was a lot of dripping on the floors and counter tops and they did not remove it all even after returning to fix.
–There was some paint flaking on ceiling near a vent I asked to have fixed, instead it was made to look worse with the texture looking completely different in that area than rest of ceiling.
–When they came to fix all of above they ended up having to cut a portion of paint as a sample to match the paint because they had no remaining paint and did not keep a note of the mixed color. The paint did not match and there are placed where the color is now different with no touch up paint of same color available.
–I will say they offered to come in and paint everything a different color to match, however, since these events took place and more time had passed, by this time it was too late as I had furniture being moved in the next day.

I had the exterior of my property painted. The quote was fair, the quality of materials used was very high, and the painters themselves were friendly and professional. Ibsan handled the quote himself, got the job done a day early, and came over on the last day to walk the property with me. He wanted to ensure I was satisfied with the work and inspect the work himself. I highly recommend these guys…

A little late, but last July 2014 Target Painting did an excellent job of removal of the popcorn ceiling & texturizing, and painting the interior (excluding the doors). The price was a little high but not unreasonable. The reviews on Unilocal helped in my decision. Ibsan, the owner responded quickly, was readily available, besides being experienced, knowledgeable, responsive to our specs, most helpful with remedies to problems, and managed the job with good oversight of his crew, Raul, Umberto and Jesus. They arrived on time, were helpful, polite, professional, did quality work, and finished the job on time. Cleanups could have been better. However, touch ups/​fixes were quickly done by Jesus when informed. I would recommend Ibsan and Target Painting.

Target painting is the way to go!!! From the first meeting with Ibsan to the last day with his super crew, it was a fantastic experience. I chose them from their ratings on Unilocal and I wasn’t dissappointed. A first class company with a competitive price. They treated my home as if it was their own. Everyday they left it neat and tidy. I am pretty much a perfectionest and the crew was very patient and professional. I am very satisfied, the house looks great! If you need painting, use TARGET

Ibsan is very nice and responsive for emails when I want to do some interior painting. He also called me 30 min before appointment so that I can be more flexible. The estimate is good and very detailed because I have some optional requirements. He also explain to me a lot of painting details during estimate. Since my wife and I still have some concerns about the color we are choosing, we decide not to paint at this time. We will choose Target painting if we plan to paint in the future.

One side of my house exterior wall showing a long crack on the bottom. That is because the upper wall has chicken wire which hold stucco tightly but the bottom doesn’t. Target painting already did stucco work before they paint. However, half of a year passed, the stucco shows crack.
I emailed to Ibsan, he came over checked and sent Jesus to fill the crack. Jesus tried using caulk first but he wasn’t satisfied with the looking. He came next days, using stucco filled and leveled the crack again.
From details, I can see that they try to do the best for customers.

We used Target Painting to interior + exterior for a ~2100 sq foot house. We are pleased with the results. His bid was competitive, his results were great. Working with Ibsan and his crew was easy too. No problems scheduling, great communication. If we had to paint again, we would definitely go back to Target.

Isban was great to work with. He came out to give a bid and was friendly and professional. Their bid was significantly better than the other we received and they had amazing review. We had a few concerns along the way with sloppy edges, overpaint, and a few missed spots, and Isban came out and made sure everything was perfect in the end. Ramon did some great decorative stripes in one room and his attention to detail was much appreciated and they look amazing! Isban was very supportive of feedback and ensured the project was completed to our satisfaction in the end! His customer service was top notch!
Update —
Now that it’s been a month or so, I’ve found a lot of small touchups around the house that warrants a downgrade. I also found significant overpainting on curtain rods, light switches and outlet covers (why weren’t these removed!) and the backsides of white shutters that you can see from the exterior of the house. Isban had said that they would come back if we noticed anything, but we’re too busy to deal with contractors coming again, so we’ve fixed the issues ourselves. Also, they used the Color to go by SW for a decorative stripe — in talking to a rep at SW, this paint has no UV block and will fade over time. It’s a much cheaper paint, so I know why they used it, just disappointed that they’d choose poor quality paint.

We had a great experience with Target painting having our exterior painted. Ibsan’s bid came in close to our second bid, and he was able to squeeze us onto this schedule only 2 weeks out. His crew was professional and courteous and done in one week. Our house looks great! But sometimes it is when something goes wrong that you can really judge a company. After the job was complete, the paint started to peel off our front door. Ibsan’s crew returned immediately and had to spend a whole day sanding down the door, priming and painting. But Ibsan never questioned that this was needed. He provided fabulous customer service and we would use him again. Oh, and after the exterior, we asked about having our stairwell painted that has a tall ceiling. They got to this as well and did a great job. I would recommend Target painting for both exterior and interior.

This company is THE BEST! From the owner who showed me how to reduce the cost of the painting (for example, using the same color on the eaves as the body of the house, not changing the color too drastically). The workers are perfectionists redoing work on their own if coverage wasn’t sufficient. They cleaned up perfectly and even painted over some of my deck that was worn away during powerwashing prep. The house looks beautiful and their price was the best bid I got. I’m very happy with the results and the value.

Target Painting painted our house this past summer. They worked really hard – despite all the crazy heat – and treated our house as if they were painting their own. When he quoted us, Ibsan noted all the prepwork his crew would do. (There was quite a bit needed.) Despite that, his quote came in lower than another we received. It was in line with what we thought we’d need to pay.
As far as color choice, we tested out quite a few samples. While the choices were narrowed down, I was still unsure. The foreman we had, Giovanni, was really nice about that. He very patiently painted a large space of siding in the color I was thinking to help make sure it worked. That was much appreciated!
Our house was a complete fixer when we bought it. Thanks to this paint job, though, I don’t think it can be called that anymore.

Wow, Target Painting did an amazing job! I have people in the neighborhood asking for their cards and complimenting on their work. They have three hard-​working guys who worked on our house for five days and some of those days were in scorching heat. It was a difficult task choosing the «best» painting company. I actually interviewed six companies and I can’t tell you how much my head hurt after talking to the 4^th company. After meeting with the owner, Ibsan, of Target Painting, I felt that he was honest, nice, and offered good customer service. His pricing was competitive, right in the middle.
I narrowed down to 3 companies and Target Painting was my first choice; however, I needed my husband’s input. He told me that he trusted my choice and that put a lot of pressure on me. I asked the owner, Ibsan, to come out and provide some color choices. My husband felt good about him, so we went ahead with the painting.
Choosing the right colors was even more tough. My husband and I walked through our neighborhood and drove around San Mateo for about 1 – 2 months to get a feel for our colors. We wanted earth tone colors to mesh in with our neighbors, but I felt that it was too safe. At the last minute, we decided to choose earth tone colors but with a twist… glad we did. Did I mention the owner and workers were very accommodating? We watch a lot of HGTV, flipping houses, Property Brothers, Curb Appeal, and checked every nook and cranny. If there were any issues to take care of, the guys always would say, «Sure, no problem,» with a smile.
We are extremely happy and definitely recommend Target Painting! A+ all the way.

If you need your home painted, you don’t need to look any further.
I got 4 quotes ranging from a CRAZY $ 1,900 to over $ 5,000 to paint the exterior of our 1,500 sq ft. home. I was about to award the job to the lower of the higher priced company ($ 4,900) when I thought I’d give one more look-​over on Unilocal.I saw Target Painting before, but since they were located in San Jose, I didn’t give it a second thought. But this time, I reached out to them to see if they would be willing to drive up to San Carlos for a quote. Within 24 hours I got an appointment on that Saturday (two days after I emailed them) and the rest is history.
The owner, Ibsan, arrived at our home on time and took a thorough walk around the house with me to discuss our needs and discuss the process of how his company would attack the job. I was pleased with his first impression and awaited his quote. A day later he emailed me with the quote and I was pleasantly surprised. Right in the middle! I immediately awarded him the job and a couple weeks later they started painting.
Ibsan was amazing as he walked us through the paint color choosing process and made spot on suggestions when it came to body and trim colors. Not once did he seem annoyed at our indecisiveness, which really put us at ease about such a major project for our new home.
The job took a little longer than expected, but it was a big job and we didn’t mind as the outcome was near perfect. There were some paint drying issues (looked like wet paint in one area, which was due to the weather conditions and lack of sun on that side of the house at time of painting) and he sent a guy right over to take care of it. Now everything is perfect now and we can’t wait to show it off this weekend when we host my co-​workers for a BBQ.
They were so good, my girlfriend referred Target Painting to two of her co-​workers. Ibsan and his crew recently painted one friend’s exterior and the interior of the other. Both live in San Carlos too!
Clean, professional, attentive to details, accommodating, helpful, good value, and everything else you’d want from someone working on your home. Too bad Target doesn’t offer repair, electrical and construction services too. ha
