Incompetent Scammers. Bought a deal from them off Angie’s list. Guy was late — told us something I thought would be easy would be a $ 900 fix needed complete rewiring and was a «fire hazard» to the point where they left our lights disconnected. I told them I needed to call my home warranty to look at it if it was really that bad.
Long story short… the home warranty person AND another electrician (wanted to be sure with a «fire hazard») came out — No fire hazard. No rewiring, no reversed polarity as told (they showed me how to diagnose it and it matched on Google), $ 60 fix, DONE. If this place tells you anything over $ 100 — get a second opinion. Also — I feel the Angie’s list deal ($ 300 service for $ 99) was a total reel me in tactic.

I had a complete new heating and air conditioning system installed in my home. Matt and Jeremiah were great. They installed the system in a day then made sure everything was working properly. They extensively tested the system after the installation and made all the necessary adjustments to make sure the system was at peak performance. The previous old system had not been properly installed to code so they made sure the new system was up to code. They were professional and courteous but the bottom line was quality workmanship.

Just hire these guys! I am spellbound with the experience I had with them today. Exceeded all expectations on every count. Heron worked a total of 9 hours to get our old house straightened out from previous flipper work, way past quittin time by a long shot. I will be using CA&E for all electrical work coming up!

I had an outdoor GFCI outlet installed through these guys. I found them on Angie’s List. Jeremiah and Matt did an amazing job on the install. They are very professional and used quality items. There was a small hiccup on the scheduling but they were still able to squeeze me in and get the job done fast and easy. Jeremiah, Matt, and Heron are a great team and very responsive.

Comfort is the Name of the Game
San Diego has been sweltering in the last ten days, but we’re cool, thanks to CA&E!
Two weeks ago, Comfort Air& Electric (CA&E) completed the installation of a new 4 Ton Bryant Air Conditioner, a new Bryant Evaporator Coil, matched up to a new variable-​speed Bryant Furnace.
Our initial contact with Comfort Air was through Angie’s List and a review we found on
. I called Heron, and he scheduled an inspection of our old air conditioner. After his investigation, the CA&E technician explained he could repair the unit, but the unit was approximately 25 years old, used coolant that was being phased out by government regulations, and was very expensive.
My wife and I decided instead to replace the old air conditioning/​heating equipment, and got four (4) proposals from various contractors. After evaluation, we chose Comfort Air & Electric to do the work.
Heron Moriarty put us in touch with Adrian, who exchanged emails with us, provided informational attachments, discussed price, until we agreed on equipment and the Scope of Work. One week before the installation, Jeremiah and his assistant, Matt, made and appointment and came to our house. They took measurements, and discussed the project with us to our satisfaction.
On installation day, Jeremiah and Matt arrived as scheduled and worked that day removing our old furnace and compressor. The Bryant equipment arrived at our house by distributor truck, and the crew began installation. The contractors worked in an orderly and professional manner, but the job progressed slowly in the confined crawlspace under our house. Jeremiah asked if he and Matt could come back on Saturday to finish. We agreed, and the two were back on Saturday to finish the job. They finished, checked the A/​C operation, and cleaned up debris and old equipment to our satisfaction.
On the next Thursday, an Inspector from the City of San Diego came to our house to inspect the work, and he was met by Jeremiah and Matt, who were sent as a precaution should the Inspector find an issue that needed to be addressed, prior to passing Inspection. The installation was approved without issue.
My wife and I are pleased with Comfort Air & Electric. CA&E didn’t show up with fancy logo-​painted trucks; nor did they wear snappy, matching uniforms. However, we feel that we got good value and workmanship for our money; and that we were able to obtain top-​rated Bryant equipment. CA&E are professional and neat; we would not hesitate to use or recommend Comfort Air & Electric. We’re happy!
P. S. — It’s 90+ outside our Del Cerro home, but it’s a cool 78 degrees in here now!

Great guys, great responsiveness, poor workmanship. Fixed the wrong AC (have 3), made right, but charged me for a part I didn’t need. Didn’t finish job… I had to put fuse box back together when they left. they also said they would return to finish the tune-​up I paid for, but never did.
No confidence. I will call another company to finish the work needed.

I had a light in my master bathroom that was flickering so I was changing it when I saw a spark and the electricity went out. I immediately went to the fusebox to see if any fuses were tripped but I didn’t see any in the main fuse box.
I sent an SMS to Heron expecting him to answer tomorrow (Monday). Today was sunday and I did NOT expect him to answer today. I asked him if he could come by the house tomorrow to check it out. He sent me a return SMS within 1 hour telling me to check all fuse boxes. He told me it sounded like I had an arc fault breaker tripped.
I looked all over the garage and didn’t see another fuse box. I haven’t been in this house too long as I bought it 2 years ago and never had to do anything with the fuse box. Heron explained it must be on the outside of the garage somewhere. Sure enough he was right and I saw it at the side of my house. (I never knew it was there).
This is the second time that he has helped me over the phone and had me try a solution before coming out for a paid visit. He is the type of electrician you keep for LIFE. He is the most honest and ethical electrician I’ve ever met.
I’ve used him now several times and he has done really great work and totally dependable. I would highly recommend him for ANY electrical or lighting needs anyone might have. Like I said, he is an electrician for life. not just one project.
I have also used Heron and his company 2 years ago when he added hanging lights in all the bedrooms and the office of my house. He and his team did an excellent job. I also used him earlier this year to add some sconces to my living room wall and to change out my bathroom lights.
I can’t recommend him and his company enough!
