This company is great! I used them a couple of years ago and was very impressed with quick response and repair time. I had to call for help on a different TV and left a message. Bob Rand, the CEO returned my call promptly and scheduled a pickup of the TV the next day. His rates are reasonable and the service is head and shoulders above others. Our large screen Samsung went out, but we were covered by a Costco warranty. The first repair company selected couldn’t come for two weeks. Video Tech was then selected and Bob happened to be in neighborhood at the time. Because the authorization was delayed, Bob didn’t get to our house until about 6:30 at night. He did an excellent job taking down the TV mounting, repairing the TV, even finding that one of the warranty parts was faulty. He wasn’t done until 9:30 but the TV was working and he was pleasant and courteous the entire time. Highly recommend Bob and Video Tech for service.

Our 60″ Sony projection tv lamp went out days before our vacation. We always said that when this TV went out we would upgrade everything. We already did our research and knew which 4k model we were going to get. After serious thought and consideration and the lack of true 4k content out there, it didn’t seem to make sense to invest in something that will be outdated next year. So I checked around called VideoTech911. They mentioned to me that they use authentic Sony parts. No cheep stuff here. Explained that they would vacuum an clean the entire set. Priced quoted was fair. Their office is in north county so I figured that next day service call was to be expected since we live in Mission Valley. Got a call from Bob and confirmed that they had the parts and could make it down midafternoon. Came when we expected considering being a Friday afternoon driving southbound on the I-​15. Cleaned and fixed the TV in no time. Now I remember why I bought this set in the first place. Picture looks awesome and saved me about $ 2600 for the price of a new.
If your looking for in home TV repair, you can’t beat this place for customer service no matter where you live in San Diego County.

Bob did a good job. I had him install the TV wiring which had to go in over our fireplace. I had already installed the TV and already had it working, but it looked messy with the exposed wiring. Describing it to him over the phone gave me a price of around $ 200. But once he came by he quoted $ 350. But when he did the work (which took a little over 4 hours all-​told) the bill was $ 440. He charged $ 40 for an HDMI cable that I wish I had known I needed ($ 12 -$ 14 all over the internet), so I was paying $ 100 per hour for his work. I do feel he did a good job. I also feel he did overcharge me. And then on top of that there was an extra $ 10 because I wasn’t prepared for that large a bill and had to pay with a credit card. Just be sure you get a firm quote from him before he starts. Then you can really feel good about the work he does for you.

Bob Rand and VideoTech 911 recently installed our home theater system and 65″ TV. The equipment is all high quality and superbly installed. The care and precision Bob used in working in our home was amazing. Spotless installation is the standard of Bob and his technicians. There are no wires visible anywhere. The TV we bought from him is amazing and appears to be floating in space on the wall mount Bob installed. We’re spoiled now. You won’t run into many that provide the level of service you get at VideoTech 911. When they’re done, it is done right.

I called Bob when my 2 and a half yr old Samsung 46inch HD LED TV went black. Bob was very helpful, in fact way more than the Samsung rep I wasted 20 minutes talking to, and was extremely responsive to getting my TV fixed. He did a home visit and had to take my TV back to his shop since it required a new board installed. Got it back as promised and it worked fine. Great deal as well. I will definitely use Bob again and recommend him to all my friends. Thanks much Bob

When I was moving into my new apartment, I called Bob to come set up my TV. He was extremely helpful and when the job was finished I couldn’t have been happier with his work. All the wires from my TV were very clean and organized. His work exceeded my expectations. His prices are very reasonable as well. I will definitely use his services again for any TV issues I have.

Bob repaired our TV right the first time. He correctly diagnosed our fault as a bad IR control board. When he came to make the repair, he was prompt, professional and clean, ensuring that he took his shoes off in the house and cleaned up after the repair. I highly recommend him to anyone requiring a Samsung TV repaired.

Twice, I have had Bob try and fix my TV. Twice has it gone bad again right after. $ 200 the first time and $ 50 the next. After the first attempt, the tv lasted about 1 month’s use (we had it longer, but it barely got used), the second time it lasted for a month again through continuous use.
So you can see a pattern here. I don’t think Bob is trying to scam me, I just dont think he knows what he is doing. The same TV going out twice in a row after visiting your shop. So much for that $ 250…
Maybe you could use it to take some TV repair classes…
EDIT: Bob called me up after seeing my review! Angry much? I have had to block his number. I’m one step away from calling the cops, Bob. Don’t push me.
He even had the gall to blame me for the TV going out. Yeah Bob it was me. I LOVE spending money fixing my tv.
