Strongly recommended! Randy is a nice guy who does the job well. He helped my store to install a commercial tank water heater in a very professional way. Most importantly, his price is FAIR! I can comment this way because I met too many contractors with ridiculous prices.

I met Randy earlier this year when I upgrade my electric panel. He took his time to explain the pros and cons of different panels and provided lots of information about installation process; however, due to SDGE mix-​up I ended up hiring another electrician for the job. I have the upmost respect for his professionalism and customer service and this is one of my preferred vendor.

Our lights went out in a section of the house and he narrowed it down to one circuit breaker in the panel that failed. You couldn’t even tell it was fried, unless you removed it and saw the melting on the internals. It was old and that’s what happens over the years. He also replaced a couple outlet receptacles.

Randy Goodman was great. He installed our ceiling fan remote, he installed our light fixture, and figured out some of the switches. But I was kind of disappointed he didn’t figure out one of them. But hey, 5 out 6 ain’t bad :)

After trying to hang a couple of lite fixtures to no avail, it seemed time to call the pros. I called Goodman electric and the electrician came the next day.
He was quick, very knowledgable, and very reasonable. He also answered questions about another fixture. I will call him, next time I need an Electrician. He is the best.

I can’t say enough about Goodman Electric. I came home from work last month when all that very hot weather and humidity hit us. My breaker box had a complete melt down and a fire inside the box. i had no power. I called Goodman Electric. Rand came out in less than an hour. I was up and running a half hour later. He still had to come back the next day because of the amount of damage. Randy had to replace the Buss and all the breakers and rewire the box. Randy helped me work with my insurance company to get all the information they needed to cover the loss. I wish i could put photos of how bad this was. I’m lucky my house didn’t burn down. randy had it all under control in a short time. Funny thing my electric bill is now the lowest it’s ever been.

I was referred to Goodman Electric by California Closets, who have used him for their closet lighting solutions for a decade or more. Finding a good contractor in San Diego is always hit or miss and he has come to work at my house 2 times now and I was impressed impressed with his work both times. He’s punctual, communications with his office are good, he charges very reasonably and takes smaller jobs, and he is just a genuine, cool, trustworthy and professional man. I’m in La Jolla but he takes work through most of San Diego. Highly recommended.
