BEWARE GROUPON USERS — First let me say the driver was perfect. The entire problem stems from the groupon purchased for one way transportation to the airport. La Class requires a credit card to reserve. Shortly before the driver was scheduled to arrive I received an email citing undisclosed charges processed to my card, i.e. an 18% tip (in advance of the service) and a $ 10.62 «surcharge», later called «administrative fee», still later referred to as «taxes». With no time to address this before leaving, I waited until the next day to call the company. We allowed them to recharge the driver’s tip, but It took several emails and phone calls and ultimately I had to dispute the «surcharge» which they refused to credit back. Nowhere in the groupon details does it disclose that tip and surcharge are automatically charged to your credit card. If I had not picked up my email just before the ride I would have tipped the driver in person and later found the duplicate tip charged to my card. The groupon is still available and still does not site the hidden extra fees.

I used LA Class Transportation for my 30^th birthday and they sent me a limo with a broken sunroof window. The leather on the seats was damage and the driver was not helpful. It rained the night before my event and the water had leaked into the car. It smelled like cat urine and on route to the winery it began to rain and my guests sitting under the sunroof got wet. I spent almost $ 700 on this event and have never been so disappointed. What a waste of fucking money. Do not use them. I sent an email explaining the situation and nothing was done to make it right. Bad business. Use another option. Believe it, it’s not worth ruining your special event.

La Class is a complete professional package. From booking my special occasions to the selection of limos and the very courteous staff, I won’t go anywhere else. Whether it’s a party or business social event, each occasion I’ve booked has been very entertaining! Mary has assisted me with each booking and has accommodated my last minute requests in putting the final touches together.
On my first booking, I selected the Hummer stretch for my boyfriend’s birthday and Kenny was our driver. He took great care of us and made a lasting impression. He is now our preferred driver and will continue to be in the future.

2^nd time we’ve used La Class for our special occasions. Had an amazing time again! Kenny was our driver both times and made our experience one to remember. Very professional staff, and reasonable rates. We will continue to use La Class for all our transportation needs.

Erick was amazing! He drove our group around and was the perfect driver for our outing. La Class was very easy to work with and was more than accommodating with schedule.

We used the party bus with a dance pole inside. We had a blast dancing to music. Highly recommend this company! Our driver Eddie was awesome!

I used La Class for my birthday celebration a couple weeks ago! Everyone and the experience was amazing! Eddie was our driver and he was great! He even helped my friend walk a little when she had a few too many My friends and I rented the party bus with the pole and it was soooo nice inside!!! Sooo much fun. We could play whatever we wanted and danced the night away! It was like having our own private dance club! I can’t wait for someone else’s bday to come so we can do it all again! Thanks La Class!
I have used this company several times over the years. Most recently for a birthday winery tour and for going to the Del Mar Races. All of the drivers are super courteous and professional and listen to your concerns/​desires about going over the allotted time. Love this company and plan on using them again for holiday light watching!

I had such a wonderful experience with this company! I got a limo for my 21^st birthday and I am so glad I did. I found them out by groupon and got a great price of $ 225 (not including tax or gratuity) there is about $ 100 more added after. I spoke to Mary to make my reservations and all my questions afterwards! She was so sweet and helpful, always willing to accommodate my needs. Since I just turned 21, I needed help planning out which bars to go to. Mary kindly asked my limo driver Ken to contact me to help me get everything planned out. He was very friendly as well with a happy voice and high energy! On the day of my birthday when Ken showed up he was a perfect gentleman and even upgraded us to a bigger limo which was AMAZING! Thank you LA Class transportation for making my night extra special and really turning it absolutely fabulous!

I wanted to give a quick shout-​out to Sara!!! Today we had the honor of having her as a driver for our company meeting at Ballast Point Brewery in Miramar, CA and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the beginning to the end Sara treated us with outstanding customer service. Thank you again LA Class Transportation and a BIG thank you to Sara!!! Cheers.

What a wonderful company! We used a Groupon for la class for my son’s 13^th birthday party. They provided great professionalism and communication throughout the entire time leading up to the event. They provided great detail as to what to expect for the night and they arrived right on time. They are accessible via email which was very helpful. They were very courteous and kind and offered nice suggestions to make the evening special for my son. Our driver was Fernando and he was phenomenal. He was very timely and courteous and well mannered. We had a lot of different activities planned within the 4 hour period and he made sure that he was available and was able to transport the kids when needed. It was a very special night and we will definitely be getting our next limo from la class. Thank you Fernando for making the night run so smooth!

Had an amazing time last night in the party bus woot woot! Kenny took us all over town, made all the random stops we wanted and he did this all night with a smile on his face. Great staff to work with! Mary and everyone else were very accommodating and it was such a smooth transaction from booking the reservation to going out their and seeing the fleet in person. I couldn’t decide between the Hummer stretch and Ford Excursion so I ended up with neither and went with the party bus, instead. It was an unforgettable night and my guests from Los Angeles loved the idea of just cruising around town in the rain in a party bus. Definitely going to go with La Class for future events.

Personally I’ve had a bad experience with la class transportation. Horrible service. Do not spend time or money on this company. They tell you one thing and then change it up when you are about to pay. Really bad customer service.

It was easy to book their service online and obtain a confirmation. It seemed to indicate that no balance was due after putting in the Groupon code for their standard airport trip. The driver was early at the airport and very responsive with text messages and phone calls to coordinate our pickup. However, he had no clue about the Groupon deal and presented us with a bill that had almost $ 30 of extra fees not disclosed in the Groupon deal. In spite of his assurances that it would all get reversed in the office, the charges went through on my credit card the next week. It only took a couple of emails with their office to get it sorted out and refunded. However, any time a vendor resorts to this hidden fee approach to cover their Groupon discount, it doesn’t win my repeat business.

Update to my last review. After speaking again with Mishon she was now able to issue a refund = to half of what we originally paid. She understood our frustration and where we were coming from. She apologized for the actions of the driver and did what she felt was right /​fair to compensate us.

There are not really companies that worth writing about… I have prob done 5 reviews my whole life… I believe if you do a good job… then guess what… you did your job… but something is different about La Class Transportation. Going on a family trip is stressful enough especially when stressing over if a ride will show up or not to the airport. La Class has beaten my expectations for the 4 – 5 times I have used them… scheduling the ride is so simple… online. quick and easy… then an email notification when confirmed… then the day before confirmation and a call the morning of from the driver… I love the amount of communication. The cars are always immaculate and plenty of room for a family of 4 (myself and 2 huge teenage boys take up alot of space)… So why did I write this, because you need to use them… don’t look anywhere else… your business is appreciated by them and it shows. Well done La Class!

We had a great time at my bachelor party thanks to LA class transportation! Used them to jump from San Diego’s best breweries. Well worth the price to not need a DD and cruise in style. We must have gone on a slow day, because we got a free upgrade, which was a great touch!

Very professional and great price… the driver was awesome I would recommend this company to anyone looking to book a limousine.

We ordered an amazing stretch limo to take a party of 14 to Wilson Creek Winery and they where awesome!
The limo was early, the driver was kind and respectful. It came super clean and had all the mixings one would need for a wine tour!
Definitely recommend this place!

Excellent service and professional people. My friends and I needed transportation for a trip to a wedding in Vegas. We called in and spoke to a woman who helped answer all of our questions and guided us through the process. We ended up booking a limo.
When our limo arrived, we were all so amazed and pleased at how beautiful it looked. Our driver came early and well dressed. He helped us with all of our luggage and was helpful with everything we needed.
Our ride was smooth and fun. We were riding in style and had the most memorable trip. The service was spectacular and we all felt like a celebrity.
I especially loved the tinted windows because of reasons.. lol.
We had a great time partying in our limo and was very impressed with our driver. I would definitely recommend their services to all of my friends and family.

I must say, I have read a lot of the reviews here and was reluctant to give them a try at first. I am so glad I did. I know that no one can make everyone happy all of the time but I am truly confused as to why there are so many «iffy» reviews. I don’t often leave reviews on Unilocal so when I do it is because a big impression was made… good or bad.
I was recently shopping around to book a car service to take 4 of us from Escondido to San Diego for a show at the San Diego Civic Theatre. I was trying to make the evening special and was having a hard time keeping that in line with not going overboard with the expenses. I also do not live in the area so I really had no idea where to start.
When I initially called I was just getting quotes from several services. On the first call I spoke with Angela. She was extremely helpful. I asked about booking a stretch for the evening and she mentioned the Groupon while explaining how it works and what is and is not included. After talking to me a bit more about what I was looking for and with the mention that we were going to a show she suggested a point to point service with an SUV. We did not need a car waiting for us, we knew exactly where and when we needed to arrive and leave. This turned out to be the best solution and most affordable option.
I called back a few days later after finalizing our other plans and booked the service. This time I spoke with a gentleman that was able to quote the same rates as my initial conversation. I forget his name but he was very helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions. When we were done he advised I would receive emails confirming both trips… to the theatre and back.
The night arrived and the SUV arrived a few minutes early… that was nice. Our driver was Stan. Stan was a very friendly and patient driver. He checked with us every once and awhile to make sure we were comfortable and what our music preferences were. Even when we needed to make an unexpected stop quickly he accommodated us with grace. I keep meaning to call La Class and let them know how much we enjoyed our driver but sadly I still have not. I hope they read their reviews so he gets the kudos he deserves.
Stan got us downtown with time to spare and even took the time to drop us off exactly where we wanted to get out. He then let me know to just text or call when we were done as he would be in the area. Stan was waiting and ready for us when we got out which was right on time with our schedule.
Stan made the night just that much better. He was engaged but not overly talkative and very accommodating. He made us laugh and kept us comfortable.
The car was new and clean just as promised, as well!
All around my experience was great! I do not live in the area and was only visiting but I do use car services in many other cities. This is one of the best experiences I have ever had. I do visit often and they will be the only service I call when needed in the future.
