Joubert Services

I was given an Amazon voucher for 2 hours handyman service as a gift last Christmas. When I found something I needed the help on 11 months later, I then see it was only good for 180 days. In going through Amazon, the face value was $ 59. I still need the help, so he is scheduled. Via phone, he is told by the gift giver that I needed help pulling video surveillance cords through the attic. No estimate appointment was apparently needed. He did show up on time for the appointment. That was the last thing that went right. I was at work, so I left detailed written instructions for my wife to give him:
«For the install: 3 of the 4 exterior cameras have the wires connected and pushed through in to the attic. The 4^th is on the porch and needs the wires pushed through the hole and connected to the camera. The wire for that one is next to the hole inside the attic. The other 3 cables need to be pulled over from where they are pushed through into the attic and put through the hole in the ceiling. The 4 interior cameras need the wires connected at the cameras from the attic side. The wires for that are in the attic next to the main access point. If additional cable is needed for the one on the other side of the kitchen, there is a 100 ft cable on the computer desk. All wires need to be routed through the hole in the ceiling above the storage above the living room tv. Then through the hole drilled in the top of my closet which is the bottom of that shelf. Then wires through the wall behind our bedroom tv.»
She told me he stated the initial 2 hours he was scheduled would cost another $ 91 on top of the $ 59 from the expired voucher. Ok, I missed the expiration details. When he was explained the job, my wife described his reaction as whiney. That it was going to take longer than 2 hours. I said ok, I just wanted it done. He proceeds to pull the one cable from the porch and two of the interior cables. He then tells my wife he can’t do the other two interior cameras because there is a drop ceiling and he can’t reach the cameras. This takes 3 hours and another $ 65 on top of the $ 150 already paid. When I get home and she tells me this, I am not pleased. I go and try to hook up the camera cables to the dar and I only see three cables. He failed to route the cables for the other three exterior cameras. I try and hook up the three that are there and find that there isn’t enough slack in the cable to reach the dvr.
I had to pay someone else to finish the job and find that the three cables he did route were tangled in a mess above the hole in the ceiling. The new guy had to pull them back up into the attic and untangle the mess so I had enough cable to reach the dvr. He then simply cut a hole above the camera in the drop ceiling for the two cameras Joubert said he couldn’t do, pulled the cables for those two and the other three exterior cameras and was done.
My experience was a bad attitude and very poor work quality. This guy is an idiot.

Thank you so very much for making my problem your problem. I called him around 8am this morning frantic in need of his assistance. I put a hole in my wall and I could not get it patched up soon enough (obviously trying to hide my clumsiness) but sensing my distress he was able to fit me into a jam packed day. He communicated every step of the way, I did not feel as if he rushed or anything of that nature. I did not realize extent of his service’s/knowledge and I’m actually going to use him as my chimney sweep as well for some plumbing work! I am extremely grateful that he came out of his way to make my day better! Thank you Thank you Thank you!

I came in from out of town to prep my condo for sale — Joubert was professional, friendly, and completed everything he said he would in the time frame agreed upon and at a very reasonable price. He deep cleaned the whole place including power washing the porches and front patio area, he painted every room, stained the cabinets in the bathroom and painted those in the kitchen, replaced some doors, fixed some water stained dry wall patches, replaced lightbulbs, and generally made the place ready to sell — he did himself what would normally have taken 3 agencies to coordinate. He was easy to work with even from out of town. It looked great, we got 3 offers in less than a week. Couldn’t be happier.

I purchased a voucher for window washing through Amazon. His schedule was quite busy, so I had to wait several weeks for an appointment. I took the entire day off work to prepare for the window washing. When Joubert did not appear for the 1pm appointment, I called. I left voicemail, messages and finally heard back from him shortly before 3pm. He said that he thought we had a 2pm appointment, and that he was delayed with traffic. I was very clear in scheduling the window cleaning that he had to arrive at 1pm in order to complete the job. This merchant had no regard for the time and money that I wasted in taking an entire day off work. I have requested a refund through Amazon.

Made my house shine like I had never seen before!!! I was moving to a new home over an hour away and I WISH I could have gotten Joubert Services to come clean my new house. Joubert had the house I was leaving cleaned to perfection. This is the company to call!

Joubert came to clean our home we were getting ready to rent. He fit me in so our house would be ready for our tenant to move in. They spent 4 hours cleaning until late at night. Great job and very detailed! Would definitely recommend them and hire this company again

Joubert and his assistant did an amazing job. He was always on time, always had the right materials with him, very courteous and professional. He worked with our schedule as well as our tenants really well. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. We completely turned the rental house around with no issues at all. Would definitely use his services again no matter how big or small the job is.

I had purchased a Living Social deal for window washing, which we very much needed. I noticed on his website that they also offer housecleaning, which we also very much needed. I was a little hesitant at first, because it’s always a little scary to have someone cleaning your home around your valuables… I liked what all the Unilocalers had said, so I began to feel confident to hire them. Joubert and his wife showed up yesterday, not only on time, but 10 minutes early. They worked for HOURS cleaning our home from top to bottom including all the windows. We have a few glass top tables, large mirrors, and glass shower doors, lot of windows and they made ALL of them just sparkle! We also have several areas with lots of shelves. They carefully dusted each item and put them right back into place. Our whole house has shutters on all the windows, and they carefully dusted and cleaned each and every slat. The floors and countertops are all shiny and clean. I could go on and on… Joubert and his wife are such kind, hardworking people. I enjoyed meeting them, and I feel very blessed to have found them. I look forward to having them here again

Joubert is wonderful! He was referred by my boyfriend’s family who has been working with his family and their friends for years.
I asked him to paint my 1 bedroom apartment; the results were wonderful! My apartment is about 950 sq ft — he primed and did one coat of color for $ 1000, slightly lower than the estimate I received from a Kelly Moore contractor. He was very nice, professional and most importantly, trust worthy. I was very comfortable leaving him a key so he could paint while I was at work.
Highly recommend Joubert for any household projects you need done!

I must say Joubert Services was the best. Joubert was extremely professional and very helpful. I had him there for window cleaning and he did a fantastic job he went above and beyond and was very friendly. It’s always a bit weird having someone in your home that you don’t know but his professionalism made me at ease. I will definitely use his company in the near future!

My Brother needed someone to get his home in Pittsburg ready for a new tenant on short notice. We found Joubert Services online, he stayed late in to the night to make sure everything from landscaping the front-​yard to cleaning the entire 6 bedroom home was done in one day. Joubert was kind, courteous, and a hard worker. The price was great!

Joubert did a great job! We purchased a groupon deal for Joubert’s first visit and will definitely be hiring him again. He uses earth friendly products and totally worked with our schedule. He even helped me search for our newly adopted cat who went «missing» during his deep cleaning session, probably in response to the vacuum cleaner. (Turns out she hid inside a kitchen cabinet!) Joubert was very thorough and checked with me to make sure that each room was cleaned to my liking. I definitely recommend him!

Joubert came to clean my apartment today! I purchased his services through Groupon. Not only was he on time but he came early which was a huge plus! He did a very thorough cleaning. Bathrooms and kitchen were sparkling. Joubert is very hard working, friendly, easy to work with, and made sure I was happy with everything before he left. Joubert Services did a three hour clean of our apartment recently and we couldn’t have asked for more. He was very thorough and left our whole place looking and feeling brand new. He was also incredibly friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a friendly and exceptional cleaning service.

I purchased a Groupon deal for one hour of cleaning services from Joubert as the apartment I was moving out of was in dire need of a scrub down. Joubert arrived early, was extremely courteous and did an amazingly job of cleaning up my apartment. My bathroom and counter tops were sparkling by the time he was done with them. I could walk around the apartment barefoot and not feel any traces of dirt/​dust on the floor. Joubert is really hardworking and I highly recommend his services. Would definitely pay full price next time.

I purchased the Groupon for a 1 hour cleaning. We had just rented a new apartment that needed a deep clean before we moved our stuff in and Joubert did a great job! He worked very hard to vacuum and mop the floors, clean the windows (inside and out), scrub down all sinks, toilets and the bathtub, and touch up all cabinets, corners, window sills, and door frames — all in an hour. When I saw him overworking himself I offered to pay for another hour so he didn’t have to work so hard. He then let me buy another hour off of Groupon (less than half the price)! Overall I am extremely satisfied with Joubert’s services and would highly recommend him to anyone in the Bay Area.

We had our place cleaned by Joubert Services today — our place was in desperate need of a cleaning (tumbleweed sized dust bunnies), and he did a GREAT job. He cleaned for 3 hours straight and was very thorough. Dusted, mopped, vacuumed, defurred our couch (our white couch was gray) and the kitchen is now sparkling. Totally worth it, I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been using Joubert’s services and I am very happy with him. He has been doing minor repairs around the house, he planted all my pots and planters, he power washed our swimming pool cover and he detailed all our cars. He is very thorough and neat. I highly recommend him.
