Success Water Systems

Good luck getting them to do what they say they’re going to do. We bought a $ 6K Ecowater water treatment system after getting the information on our way out of Costco. We were planning to move within the next 6 months and were assured that we could take the system with us.
When we were getting ready to move, we gave them a heads up on the date. When that day came, it turned out that one of their techs went on vacation and therefore they had to bump us out a couple of months because they were too busy. So, our buyers ended up getting two free months of sweet tasting water. A few months later, they did move the system and then hit us with a bill for around $ 300.
In the new house, the remote monitoring panel won’t display our water information reliably since the wireless signal isn’t strong enough to go from one end of the house to the other.
Now, we are playing footsie with them trying to get them to come out and change the filters at the annual service mark. The Ecowater system works well, but it’s way overpriced, and the poor service makes it a loser of a deal.

Have used this company over 20 years. They used to be called Ecowater. Their customer service used to be excellent but has gone downhill in the last several years. They are only in my town of Concord on Wednesdays which makes it difficult to schedule an appointment. They are not flexible. About two years ago we purchased a brand-​new system from them and since then we’ve had problems with water pressure. They’ve come out a few times to try to fix the problem to no avail. We called again recently and the call was not returned. After three times calling them, they finally called saying they were in our area and could come now. No heads up. Awful customer service. We will be looking elsewhere. Not a good way to treat a long time customer.

Had my maintenance on Saturday 6÷6÷15 for my reverse osmosis and my filtration units. Notice a patch of wetness around the filtration unit. Thought it would dry up due to the maintenance. Did not so I call on Tuesday 6÷9÷15. No return call. Called on Thursday 6÷11÷15. Could not get an appointment until 6÷23÷15, a Tuesday afternoon. In the meantime, the unit is leaking water while we are in a drought situation. Person on the phone was not very helpful and not professional regarding the situation. There explanation is due to a lack of personnel. Well, sounds like a operational issue with the company. The problem should not take over a week to resolve when the problem in the beginning is Success Water Systems’ fault. The company is fast to schedule appointments to work on your units and collect the money but slow in resolving any issues. I will not be using this company in the future.

I got a Water Softener installed for my house in Dublin few years ago.
Right from installation to maintenance I have had good experience with success water. Jason P is very friendly and knowledgable, he took time and did a very good clean job.

We purchased our water purification system through Success Water 3 months ago after picking up a brochure at our local Costco. Honestly, we cannot say enough about how pleased we are with both the product and the customer service. We instantly tasted the difference in the water quality, have no more dry skin and the hard water stains are gone! Also, this was more than just an installation for Success Water… MariLynn and Gary made a subsequent visit back to our house to clean the hard water stains from our sinks, faucets and appliances and makes sure that any questions that we had were answered. This company is extremely professional, they have excellent customer service and a product that is outstanding. I can truly say that it was a pleasure doing business with Success Water and I highly recommend them.

I purchased my water softener and filtration systems from Mari at Success Water last year and it has been the best purchase I ever made for my house!!! The water conditioning system has solved the problem of the horrible hard water in Seaside. The filtration system has allowed me to stop buying bottled water — and Wow my water tastes great!!! If you have ever thought about purchasing a system I highly recommend you call Success Water — great system and great staff that really care!!!

It’s been three months since we had Success Water install our water purification system and we are still very happy with the quality of our water and the equipment. For those of you that are on the fence about purchasing this system, or comparing it to other systems, I highly recommend the Success Water system and team to get you on track with the best water you’ll ever taste.

We purchased a home in April of 2014. We had a water softener installed which we rented, that I was not satisfied with from the moment they put it in. My forearm had a rash, my face had severe dry patches. Being that I woke up first, in the morning. I would turn the water on and would cringe at the foul smell and the highly salty taste.
My brother had moved here from out of state and bought a home in the area and was turned on to Success Water. In return he turned us on to it. When I went to his house and tasted his water, we had to make that appt to see what Success Water was all about, since we were dissatisfied with our current water service.
Mari came out and did a presentation about her company, and what they had to offer us, cleaner water. With that presentation she convinced us, by her testing our existing water, to her bottle of Success Water, this was the system for us.
I was blown away at the vials of water she tested. Our existing water was dingy and had very little suds and looked filmy. Her water had loads of suds never dissipated and the was clear, not filmy. (That is what truly convinced me). The Technician came out a month ago and installed our Success Water system and I have been very pleased since then.

We purchased a home in Marina ca back in April of last year we had a rented soft water system that we were not happy with. The water had a smell to it and often was very salty in the morning. My brother-​in-​law who just moved here from Washington state just bought a home and had the success water system put in. We saw the system in action and decided to have a presentation by EcoWater Systems. Mari Lynn (ML) came out and gave us an eye opening demonstration of the quality of our water. Thank you ML, our water tastes AMAZING and there has already been a noticeable difference in the water spotting on appliances and dishes, as well as, feeling completely amazing after taking showers. I had an Eco water softener and a reverse osmosis system installed in our home 9 years ago in Discovery Bay. I found the Eco Water product to be one of the best systems in the market. A quality system was important to me. In addition I wanted to use a local reputable company that services the system.
Success Water Systems provided first class installation and their service is the absolute best. Ernie has been the gentleman servicing my system from the beginning. Ernie fully explains what needs to be done while servicing the system. Ernie is absolutely professional, courteous, honest, very accommodating and a great all around person. Any and all of our needs have been met in a timely manner.
They are a five star operation.

I have saved so much money since my new water system got installed No more buying bottled water. The service was excellent the installer polite an very informative. I actually had them install for 5 family members who were equally pleased. I would do this again an again if I had to. Best money I have spent in awhile! I mean, what’s more important than clean water?? Mari Lynn came to my house to tell me about Eco Water Systems because I knew I had hard water and I was sick of all the deposits on my shower head and other faucets in the house– not to mention wanting to extend the life of my appliances. Mari Lynn was extremely knowledgable which was helpful because I had a million questions. A nice surprise was that it basically CLEANED all my pots and pans and the inside of my dishwasher! It’s been a year since I had it installed and I am still very happy with my purchase.

These guys work San Jose too! Don’t be confused by the Unilocal geography remark. My neighbor referred me because she loved her system. Now we love our «Ecowater» service too!
We got three estimates and chose Success Water Systems. They we’re amazing – knowledgeable, thorough, listened to our need and recommended accordingly. They worked with us even though we had a rather tricky installation. ML was more than a sales person selling any old widget. She knew her stuff & helped us determine what suited us perfectly. She was professional, warm, friendly and knew water & water systems. I’ve since referred to a neighbor who loves it too! Hope she Unilocal!Barry is really great too. He became a salesman for them because he loves their product so much. I believe him. It’s terrific! No more icky dishes or money wasted buying new dishwashers.

Success Water has Terrible service so do NOT use this company. Our Ecowater softener was not working right so we asked for an appointment which took two weeks to get because they only have 1 technician who would be in our area. My wife stayed home all day for the appointment and the technician never showed up! No call saying he’s running late or not going to make it. We called the company the next day and they didn’t even acknowledge that the technician didn’t show. We asked for another appointment and they said it would be another week since there were other people ahead of us. We couldn’t wait and risk another no show so we called Water Quality Plumbing in San Jose who came the next day on time and repaired our softener for a lower price.

I have experienced superior customer service and exemplary communication skills from this company. Though I have only spoken with Nikki and Caitlyn, I have been thoroughly impressed.

Very disappointing with the integrity of this company! We are in the market to purchase a whole house water softener system for our home in Santa Cruz. We went to Costco and they had an Ecowater vender there in the store so we signed up to have a home consultation. Success Water Systems came out to our house and gave us two prices: the price through Costco or a price that was $ 600 cheaper if we didn’t go through Costco. This essentially means that they are trying to do there marketing through Costco but then once Costco has given them a customer they try undercut Costcos so they don’t have to pay for marketing. Very unethical.

Success Water Solutions started as a «1′, but ended up a «5».
We recently moved into a home in the East Bay. We knew the water wasn’t great, but when the washer and dryer install people couldn’t install the washing machine because the shut off valve was too limed up, we knew we had to do something to fix the water (in addition to an unscheduled plumbing expense).
The house had a water softener, so I called the number and made an appointment for the tech to stop by that day to check it out. The tech tested the water (which the skeptic in me wrote off to parlor tricks) and the hardness was 35 gpg, which is really hard. It also had 1 ppm Chlorine. He told my wife the old softener would never work in our area and recommended an EcoWater softener. Well my wife was convinced by the visual test results, and fed up with the whole mess, she agreed. When I called her later that day, I found that not only was the old softener not fixed, but we’d just bought a very expensive water treatment system. I was not happy to say the least.
Fraud alert bells were going off in my head, and all the consumer protection segments on local news were flashing through my brain. I compulsively researched water treatment systems, and came to the conclusion that, while one of the most expensive, the EcoWater units were also one of the best. A couple more days of researching comparable systems convinced me that, while we didn’t get a bargain, we paid a fair price for the unit including installation and removal of the old unit. I started to calm down.
Fast forward three days (to today), and I was downright delighted at the quality of the water, and just as importantly the quality of the installation.
