Have to give a HUGE shoutout to everyone at Perfection; that’s their name for a reason. They were fast, professional, friendly and super helpful. They were able to help me find financing, were so accommodating and my house feels amazing now. Did I mention I can control my thermostat from my phone now at no extra charge? Our air conditioner went out… We went to another company they said we needed a whole new hvac system… We wanted a second opinion so we called Perfection on a reccomendation… We couldn’t be more pleased the dispatcher was helpful and followed up… They were able to diagnose the problem and give us an alternate more affordable solution within a day they had us up and running again. A truly top notch service from start to finish… I would recommend them to anyone!

Excellent service, honest price quote, very reliable and dependable. I have used this company on multiple properties and have been very satisfied. Jennifer the office manager is very easy and pleasant to deal with. The technicians are very experienced and honest. I would strongly recommend this company without any hesitation.

We were conned into paying $ 8,430.00 for the replacement of three furnaces when we discovered, from other dealers, after the fact, that all we needed was a simple $ 225 repair job on the one furnace that was broken. Because our furnaces had been listed in 2001 on a recall, Perfection Home Systems told us it was impossible and illegal to have the simple repair and that we must replace the other two. Not true.

Mom and pop shops still do exist! I love using family owned business’ and this company did not disappoint! Bob and Jennifer are a dad daughter team that really know their business. I got an estimate on a new system for my condo… Didn’t even bother getting any others after talking to Perfection. I knew I was going to get great service at a great price done by skilled trustworthy professionals. And that’s exactly what I got. Highly recommend this company!!!

Over the weekend, our AC gave out (just in time for today’s 108 degree weather). A friend of mine suggested Perfection Home Systems and I am glad she did. They set a 10am-​12pm window, and arrived at the beginning of the window. Within an hour, they had explained what was wrong with the system, and how they’d repair it. They’ll have to come back to replace something they didn’t have on hand — but the house has AC and everyone is very happy! Thank you!

Our 20 year old HVAC system gave up this winter. After doing research on hardware and brands for 2 weeks (wife not happy about a 5AM shower in a cold house) I came to the conclusion that the hardware was about the same (see Consumer Reports) and that the installation was the most important factor besides cost. Got 4 bids from well known area firms, from low to crazy high. Finally some friends of ours said they used Perfection 20 years ago and were still happy with them. I was going crazy with research and my wife was not happy about taking a cold shower, so we went with Perfection.
You can read the reviews here which I found helpful and accurate, and you can tell by the stars we gave we were very happy with every aspect of the service, from Bid to County Inspection. The review is late because you have to have over 70 degree days to test the A/​C. The new system passed a SMUD as well as the county inspection with flying colors. The cost was in the middle (bids from 6k to 13k for a 3 ton system).
Bottom line: I would recommend this company for a new install or service.

I have used Perfection Home Systems to replace my HVAC in not just one but two homes now. They are very professional, timely, and easy to work with. Eric came in response to my furnace not working and provided a quote to fix the unit (dating from 1974, yes, seriously). He did not try to sell me anything else until I asked and then inspected my air conditioner, as I requested, and provided me with a quote for replacement. Once I decided to go forward with it, it was easy to schedule a convenient day. He even offered to arrange for portable heaters to use until then (my scheduling issue, not theirs).
The guys who installed were exactly on time, professional, and pleasant. One of them actually installed the unit in my previous home more than 10 years ago! They were very tidy and I couldn’t even tell they had been there afterwards.
The check-​up appointment was again scheduled at my convenience and he was right on time, to the minute. He even called 15 minutes ahead of time, as I had requested! And they filled out all the necessary paperwork so I got my /​SMUD rebate almost immediately.
I really appreciate a well-​run customer service oriented business and Perfection is just that, perfect. The fact they are a small family-​run organization explains a lot and I will recommend them to everyone I know.
BTW, my house is so toasty warm and far more efficient too. Win win for me!

Perfection Home Systems has been maintaining our heating and air conditioning systems for several years in an excellent fashion. Recently the air conditioner needed replacement (it was old and replacement was verified by another company.) They sent us a recommendation for a replacement system that was what met our needs without any unnecessary upgrades. A COSTCO contractor also reviewed our needs and recommended the same system. The COSTCO contractor would not meet the quote that we had in hand (we verified that they were quoting the identical product and service). The installation was completed as scheduled by two professional installers from Perfection Home Systems. The installers were courteous and knowledgeable. A followup visit to ensure our satisfaction (no cost) resulted in a few minor adjustments that made the installation as good as it gets. I highly recommend this company. I am a very satisfied customer.

Perfection is awesome! We had them come out to my parents house after a different company told them they needed a whole new unit. They didn’t. Perfection came out and told them they just needed a minor tweak, much less expensive than replacing the whole thing. We were all so impressed that they signed up for their regular maintenance. The AC has never felt better.

I had never had my air/​heat unit serviced (it was 10 years old!) so I called Perfection Home Systems to inquire about the process, cost, et cetera… I spoke with the owner and she was very helpful and she gave me different cost options for a one-​time service or a contract. I opted for the contract becaust it seemed more cost effective based on the services that are included. I had a technician come out within a week, and he was prompt, courteous and very professional. He changed my filters for me, crawled up in the attic and made all of the necessary adjustments — he even showed me how to program my thermostat! I am very pleased with their services, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing heat/​air servicing or installation.

After reading the few negative reviews, I felt I had to write one of my own to provide visibility to the excellent service I have received from Perfection Home Systems, Inc so far.
Last summer I was in the market to replace my 20+ year old Trane Heat Pump as it was time and the poor thing just couldn’t keep up with the few 100+ degree days we were having back then.
Since my old unit was a Trane, I decided to check out the Trane web site and do a little research. I saw that Trane certifies certain dealers to be «Trane Comfort Specialists»…who supposedly get additional education and are trained to provide better customer service… blah, blah, blah. I have no idea whether this is actually true, but I figured that if I got estimates from primarily Trane Comfort Specialist dealers, at least it could provide a more apples to apples comparison vs. pulling unfamiliar names out of the Yellow Pages.
I ended up getting 4 estimates from 3 dealers listed as Trane Comfort Specialists and one Lennox-​based company, who are all located relatively close to my house. It never ceases to amaze me how much variability there can be when you get estimates (even in this case from the ones that are all Trane Comfort Specialists). This experience certainly validated the adage that you should always get more than 1 estimate whenever you need contractor-​related services!
I was not that impressed by the Lennox guy, but was pretty comfortable with the information provided by the 3 Trane folks. They were all very patient with answering my (many) questions as I’ve never had to purchase an HVAC system before and given the fact that buying a new HVAC system is a pretty big chunk of change, I wanted to make sure I knew what I was getting myself into!
Although, I could’ve chosen any of the 3 Trane Comfort Specialists, I decided to go with Perfection Home Systems for a couple of reasons. One, I liked that it is a family-​owned business (in fact, one of the original owners, Bob Kennedy, was the one who did my estimate and he was very down-​to-​earth and provided the most non-​salesman like spiel to me). Two, they (by a fair amount) provided the best price (and this included offering a Trane Heat Pump model that was in the next higher class than the one that the other two Trane guys quoted in their estimates for me).
The installation went fine and was done over a two-​day period. The permit inspection was done a few weeks later and the Inspector requested a few changes before he signed off on it. These changes were promptly done by Perfection and the inspector was satisfied with them and signed off.
As a side note, the month after my system was installed, HVAC systems were added to the Cash for Appliances rebate program. I wasn’t sure I could qualify for the rebate since my unit was installed shortly before they announced the HVAC addition to the program. But, when I called up Perfection Home Systems, the gal I talked to said that the program might accept my rebate application based on when the permit was signed off (which was within the acceptable date range) instead of the installation date. To make a long story shorter, the Perfection folks filled out all the appropriate forms for me, I sent in the application, and crossed my fingers. Surprisingly, a few months later I received my Cash for Appliances rebate check… bonus!!!
So, here it is a little more than a year since I had my Trane Heat Pump system installed. I’ve already had the two free follow-​up tune-​up visits (one in the winter and one in the summer) that were included in my initial installation contract. The system was running fine both times, so not much tune-​up was needed… but, I wasn’t expecting there to be much needed anyways.
In summary, my experience with Perfection Home Systems, Inc has been very good so far and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends. I know everyone can have different results, but in my case, it was a positive experience.

This matter was settled, I hope, to the satisfaction of their company and to us. We are pleased to accept a partial refund and an apology from the president herself. She was very nice and a very easy person to work with. Thanks!

I call this company up from a referral. They supposed to do great work. Eric came out to my townhouse to service a call. he told me that i need a new fan motor because it was bad. I did some research and find out that fan motor rarely go bad, so I got another estimate from A Cool Air. He came out on Saturday and check on my system and told me I only need to clean the coil. AC is working just fine since.
