My mom’s AC went out right when it was pushing over 100 degrees out. I called a local place and they were able to come out right away. They told me that to get it working I definitely needed to spend at least $ 6k replacing AC components and that I ought to also spend another $ 1.8k on the heating components, while I’m at it.
Before scheduling the work, my dad gave me Gold River’s number. I had Rusty out and within a couple hours, he had the AC working like a champ. $ 6,000 vs. $ 200 = easy choice.
That was over a year ago. The AC is still going strong.

As a Realtor, I have used Rusty & crew multiple times over the years. Last year, my brother’s air conditioner stopped working. After another company told him he needed a whole new unit, I recommend he have Rusty take a look at it. Turned out all it needed was a recharge, which saved my brother thousands of dollars.
More recently, I had a client buying a house where the air conditioner failed to work at the home inspection. The seller told us that it just needed a recharge, so we had Rusty look at it to be sure. He showed us that the unit was not holding pressure, so a recharge would be a waste of money because the freon would simply leak out due to physical damage caused by a dog urinating on the air conditioner. I never knew that could happen!
