I was dealing with my first ever Central AC problem and was referred to Air Tek by my home warranty company. The company was great at getting the repair done and Doug was an excellent technician. He took time to explained how my unit worked and explained the problem in details. He was friendly, up beat and wanted to answer any questions I had. This is my first Central AC system so Doug took his time to show me how the thermostat worked and how to program it. I thought this was awesome of him to do, specially on a Saturday afternoon, so I really appreciate that!

We were adding an addition on to our existing home and Air Tek did a fabulous job putting in a brand new system. From start to finish Doug gave us amazing attention and explained everything in detail. I am so happy with the job he did and would highly recommend Air Tek to anyone in need of HVAC service of any kind.

I have hired several air conditioning companies for installation repair and maintenance of hvac units in my home, business and rentals. I am so fortunate to have found air tech. They provide prompt reliable service at reasonable rates. I will never call a different company for my hvac needs. Instead of pushing a more expensive replacement or repair option you can trust air tech to give you honest feedback and competent repairs at a fair price.

After reading horrible the reviews of another company, back October 2014, I requested American Home Shield dispatch someone else to service my mini split A/​C. Air Tek got the gig. I was a bit apprehensive at first since the reviews were split, but sucked it up and went with them anyway. The tech showed up on time and was friendly and professional. All my unit needed was a capacitor the tech happened to have on his truck. The visit was short, sweet, and effective. The unit is still up and running with no problems. Thanks!

Just had AirTek out to fix my house furnace, and wall heater in the man cave. I was pretty lucky in getting their serviceman Doug. Super friendly, walks you through each step of what he’s doing, fixed them both quick… and wouldn’t even take a tip. Ask for Doug and trust this company… they do great work!

When our heater quit working during a cold spell, Air Tek came out the same night. Of all the companies that advertise ²⁴⁄₇ emergency service, they were the only one who would come out on a Saturday night. Doug quickly diagnosed the problem. They ordered a new motor, Doug came out after dark to install it, and they handled everything with our warranty company. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to family and friends. Air Tek was awesome to work with! Our heating system fan kept blowing without shutting off but luckily we have a home wrranty. We started a claim and on Saturday and Air Tek was here on Monday. Had to order a part qnd back on Wednesday to finish the job as promised. They were polite, friendly, and professional. I now have an HVAC company in the area to do busy with! Thanks Air Tek!

I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with the honesty and phenomenal service we received from Air Tek when our AC wasn’t working.
We were very impressed with the way that Air Tek was willing to come look at our AC after hours and started with the simplest possibilities and worked up from there. We will always use Air Tek from this point on. Their service was outstanding!

I was referred to Air Tek through my home warranty. After reading their reviews I was a little scared since they really had no good reviews. The service technician «Mike» came out ‘on his way home.’ He diagnosed the problem of my A/​C blowing hot air as the motor being bad. He said that he didn’t have one on his truck, but he’d put in an order for it and be back the next night ‘on his way home again.’ I said that was fine. I got home from work and notice that he hadn’t been here. (it was Friday night after 7pm). So I decided to call the company. I was surprised that someone answered… it was the owners wife Robin. She said that she could only give me the technicians phone number because the part that I needed is a 4 day wait. I asked why he said he’d be back the next day and all she wanted to do is refer me to the technician. I asked to speak to the Owner (her husband) and she said he wasn’t available. I asked why I wasn’t notified earlier about the 4 day wait period for ordering and she had no answer. So now this service technician has my A/​C motor along with the fan and I’ve paid my service call fee and have no knowledge of when my A/​C will be fixed. I think that the technician should not promise something when it can’t be done or at least call the customer to let them know. I would NEVER go with this company! I asked «Robin» if she’d ever looked up her companies Unilocal reviews and she said that none of these were theirs even though the phone # matches.
I spoke to the technician Mike and he stated he called the «office» to let them know my part wouldn’t be available for 5 – 7 days and asked that they call me. I never got that phone call.

Yikes its two days before Thanksgiving and yes the family is coming, and my heater desides to stops working! Burrrr!!! But no problem, I scheduled appointment with Air Tek and they have already been here and left. I am a stickler about customer service and how in general it is non existant anymore but to my surprise this was the best overall experience i’ve had in some time. Not only did Doug fix the problem very quickly but he went above and beyone and also installed a new thermostat that I had on hand. He was quick, friendly, professional and on a holiday week, I couldn’t have asked for better service. I will be recommending Air Tek to everyone I can. Great jb and many thanks :-)

Air Tek contacted me regarding a new issue with my air conditioning, and to be honest, I’m furious at how I’ve been treated.
I booked an appt. for a 4:00 — 8:00pm slot the following day and almost immediately called back to reschedule. I remembered I had another appt. that I couldn’t be late for and had to leave my house at 5pm to arrive on time. The scheduler said that it made more sense to keep the appt. as is, and see if the tech arrived to check everything out before I had to leave. I was very hesitant to do this as he has to climb up in my attic and it may take awhile. Plus there’s a $ 100 service fee and what if I needed to go before he had determined the problem. But she convinced me that it was the best route to take and it was «no problem». She told me if he doesn’t arrive and it’s getting close to the time I had to go, just to call her and she’d let him know that it was cancelled and we’d reschedule. Well, at 4:30pm he hadn’t arrived, I called and did just that, cancelled with her and we decided she’d call me later in the week to reschedule. At 4:55pm just as my husband and I were getting ready to walk out the door, the technician pulled up in the drive way. I went out and said how sorry I was he didn’t get the message that we had cancelled. He said he HAD received the message but decided he’d just show up anyway and see if we were here (!). I told him we were leaving and sent him away.
The next day the scheduler called and I said Friday afternoon would work for me if the tech was available. She asked if I was available Friday morning and I emphatically said no, and that if he wasn’t available Friday afternoon it could wait to schedule next week as it wasn’t urgent.
The next night at 7:30pm I got a voicemail from Air Tek. My phone goes on Do Not Disturb at 7pm every night so I didn’t see the message until 10:30pm. The message said that she had scheduled the tech to be at our house at 7:00am the next morning. WTH? I texted her back (as I know the number is a cell phone) and also called and left a long voicemail restating everything from our conversation the day before and restating that they should absolutely NOT send someone to my house at 7am the next morning as no one would answer the door. And you’ll never believe what happened the next day at 7am… they came to the house, with no one to open the door.
Lastly, Air Tek called the warranty company and told them that they had made two appointments with me and I had NO SHOWED (ARGH) and that they didn’t want to work with me any more. The warranty company contacted another company to schedule the work, but are you freaking kidding me?
My husband brought up a good point that they probably don’t care whether they schedule a time when you’re not available because they can say it was a no show and still bill the warranty company. Great integrity there, eh?
If you’re looking for a company to just show up when it’s least convenient for you, even when you ask them not to, then Air Tek’s the company for you.
