Sweet Hawaii Wedding

My husband and I were engaged on a Monday just before Christmas and decided to get married by Friday on Makapu’u Beach at sunset. When I called Coco, he didn’t even hesitate for one second at the challenge — he went right into planning mode and invited us over to go over details. We literally got the license, the dress, and Jaqueline and Coco took care of everything else. The value of what is offered in the package versus other companies is outstanding– everything is done professionally and there are additional add-​ons to choose from to tailor to your vision. It was so windy that evening, I never imagined the photos would turn out so well– but I was floored at the quality, he is a master of capturing just the right moment. The ceremony was beyond anything I could ever have imagined for our wedding. Coco and Jaqueline’s patience, guidance and sense of humor was exactly what we needed. I would highly recommend them for creating a wedding that is personal and truly magical.

We got married just last week on Waimanalo Beach and all went very smoothly. Jacky and Coco were a pleasure to work with throughout the process — if you can even call it a «process». They take care of almost everything — the main things we had to do was sign the pre-​paperwork at the Hawaii Dept of Health a few days before the wedding and find a place to eat after the wedding.
Also, extra recognition for their photographer Greg — his pictures were AMAZING and he took way more photos than expected. After the wedding, they just give you a DVD with the exact pics he took. Quick and leaves it open for you to do the photo editing — which wasn’t even necessary! Pics were that good.

My fiancé and I will be getting married August 8^th, 2015 on Waimanalo Beach. Although our wedding isn’t until August, Jacqueline and James have been nothing but perfect! They take the time to talk to me for hours on the telephone, never have I felt rushed. I am having a really big wedding and they are going out of their way to make sure that I am feeling confident in them. They never once rushed me for payments! They are not in this business for the money, you can feel the love they have for each wedding they take on. Every email I have ever sent, they reply back to within a day. Any missed calls they received from me, gets returned the same day or the next day. I cannot recommend a better company. If you are looking for a company to marry you and your spouse, THIS IS THE COMPANY! Look no further. They are the most sweetest individuals. Any questions, concerns, or fears that I have ever had… They ALWAYS reassure me that everything will work out and be perfect! I cannot wait to see how beautiful they will make my Hawaiian Beach Wedding look! Thank you so much Jacqueline and James!

My husband and I were married in August, 2011 by Rev. Colin. My husband had the daunting task of planning our wedding since I was flying to Hawaii, from Toronto, Canada, just days before the wedding would take place. After asking around and looking on the Internet he chose Sweet Hawaii Wedding. We both met with Rev. Colin & Jackie at their home, separately since my husband worked all day on MCBH. They are such a lovely and gracious couple. They gave us lots of information and answered all of our questions. The day of the ceremony was beautiful! We got married on Waimanalo Beach and everything from the flowers, to the pathway, to the harp player and ceremony were beautiful! The photographer was amazing too! I loved the fact that we were able to get our pictures onto a cd right on that same day! Jackie was super sweet and helpful when my maid of honors baby girl was crying! I always say to my husband, let’s get married again just like we did 3 years ago! I wish I could do it all over again. Thank you for the memories

My husband and I were married 4 years ago by Sweet Hawaii Weddings. Rev Colin and his wife Jackie are amazing people and were recommended to us by our friend Chessa. They are honest, hard working, reliable, and genuinely good spirited generous people. We had hired another officiant before we met Rev Colin, which was a huge mistake… that other officiant rudely cancelled on us 20 minutes before our beach wedding because he said he had something else to do, and blamed me for choosing an evening wedding! Brides, don’t let this happen to you! A few days later Rev Colin met us right on time and married us on a beautiful beach in Waimanalo. His calm and gentle aloha spirit is what every bride needs on her big day!

I got married this past June — Jacqueline and Colin were nothing short of amazing!
They were incredibly attentive. My fiancé and I met with them at their lovely home. They were welcoming and had a lot of unique and creative suggestions, which is important to me because I didn’t want my wedding to be cookie-​cutter/​paint by numbers (which is easy to have happen).
Jacqueline designed a gorgeous flower pathway (3000 orchids!) that I walked over down the aisle. And Colin’s ceremony was so heartfelt! Everything was honestly better than I could have imagined.
More than anything, they are incredibly nice people — I highly suggest talking/​meeting with them, once you do, you’ll see why they really put the «sweet» in Hawaii weddings. :)

The best!!! We had such a wonderful time, and our wedding was just beautiful… Jacqueline is truly a goddess, and walked us through every step of the way. our minister was Kahu Kino, and I couldn’t have asked for a more lovely and spiritual woman to marry us… it was truly an unforgettable experience! xoxo! I don’t have one negative thing to say about Jacqueline or Coco. This wedding was beyond my wildest dreams (and I’m a pretty big dreamer!!) I honestly did a lot of research for our destination wedding and I found sweet hawaii to be the cheapest on the island, when I saw they had good reviews I decided to book them. Best decision I made. James (the book keeper) answered so many of my questions and he had to bare with me changing ideas quite often. When we got there Jacqueline welcomed me to her house like we were her family. It says on their website that they welcome you as family, and they mean that literally. They are there to help you anyway they can on the island. I expected the wedding planner to be hyper organized and cold, but Jacqueline was warm, artistic, and radiated kindness.
Now, we ordered cake, flowers, a hair: makeup girl, a masseuse, and photographer. Being a destination wedding, I was terrified that the photographer and makeup artist would be subpar. I was very stressed about this. The makeup artist did better than I imagined.
She made me look like a celebrity. I looked her up online later and saw she had an insanely impressive résumé as a beautician. Doing big names and
Groups in hawaii. The photographer was amazing!!! It is very obvious that Dustin is a seasoned photographer. If I had known how good he was I would have ordered more time with him. My husband said the masseuse was amazing. The cake was beautiful and I had no idea what to pic for flowers.
Jacqueline looked at my outfit and picked the best bouquet for me. The wedding itself was perfect. Coco’s ceremony was beautiful. The story he told touched my husband. I have never strongly recommended a company before, but if you are looking at destination weddings, stop looking and book with them. You won’t regret it!

My fiancée and I were only engaged for a few days and just decided to go crazy and get married in Hawaii. Now, I live in California and only had two days to figure things out. I thought getting everything together in such a short amount of time would be impossible let alone having to do it all by phone! But thank goodness I found Sweet Hawaii! Rev. More and Jacqueline were so pleasant to talk to and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They were both so warm and welcoming that I already felt like I knew them before I even met them! They were quick to follow up with me on my concerns and questions. Every conversation was so engaging it seemed like it could go on forever. They took care of everything and made what seemed like something so stressful absolutely stress-​free.
Thank you so so much Reverend More and Jacqueline! Our day was perfect. We are both so happy to have had you all there and will remember you always.

By this woman actually getting on Unilocal and resort to name calling must show you all the character of this person. I’m by no means a «bridezilla» in fact I’ve already been married for 15 years and just wanted to renew my vows. went else where and had NO problems. You Jacqueline are a petty incompetent person and should stick to whatever other day job you have because obviously this is not a priority to you. Oh and grow up.

Why isn’t there a review for this place yet??? Rev Colin and his wife, Jacqueline were amazing!!! They took all the worry and stress out of my wedding. I normally tend to be a control freak but those two were so caring, professional, and loving that I couldn’t help but entrust that they would make the day perfect for my new husband and me. And honestly, they did! They took all the stress out of my day, that I was able to get ready and walk down the isle without one worry or nerve, allowing me to enjoy the day for what it was… marrying the man I love in front of my family and friends; committing our lives to one another! I couldn’t of been happier with my experience with them. They were so flexible even adding a bouquet (since I originally didnt think I wanted one) and a few extra chairs the day before the wedding. They are amazing!!! Very professional but in a calm friendly manor. It was like I had known them forever from the moment we all met.
