History

Established in 2014.

David and Karen were invited to join the staff of a wedding business and have been providing wedding services since 2010. We found we are passionate about sharing the love of each couple on their special day and decided to open our own business. We work as a team and strive to be both professional and personal in our approach to making each wedding a memorable experience for each couple.

Rev. David has won all four Toastmasters Hawaii speaking contests; International Speech Contest, Humorous Speech Contest, Table Topics Contest, and Evaluation Contest and is the 2012 Hawaii State Champion of Public Speaking with Toastmaster’s International! Rev David’s mission is to guide folks along their journey with love and abundance.

Rev. Karen is both a minister and a photographer. Photography has always been her passion and she loves capturing the special moments of life and loves connecting with couples and considers it an honor to share the love of each couple on their special day.

The situation: Six weeks before our big day, our friend told us they were unable to perform our wedding. OMG! Then a fellow wedding officiant recommended Reverend David Tasaka to us. He definitely saved our wedding ceremony!
I hastily emailed David to ask if he was available to officiate our ceremony. Luckily, he was free. His wife Karen was so efficient at scheduling our ceremony, as well as setting up a meeting and also having David at our rehearsal (which we paid additional for). Both of them were so organized and always responded so quickly to my emails. Payment was easy, as the invoice was sent via Square.
We met with David to see if he would be a good fit to officiate our wedding. He was so considerate and sent us a picture via email so we would know who to look out for when we met. His demeanor is so calm, and his positive energy calmed down this stressed-​out bride-​to-​be! He is so easy to talk to, and we had a great conversation sharing how my fiancée (now husband) and I met (via
). I shared with him that it was my late mother’s idea to look for a mate online, and David had the great idea that I share that during the ceremony! It was a perfect way to incorporate her memory into our big day.

there are packages, details about both David and Karen, and a list of beautiful beach sites that they enjoy performing ceremonies at. There honesty isn’t anything that I’d change about my wedding ceremony (even though it involved me «ugly crying» haha), and this is thanks to Rev. David! It flowed so smoothly and turned out even better than expected.
