I Do Hawaiian Weddings

Ok… let me begin by saying I am not someone who posts on Unilocal or any other social site, for that matter. But in the case of June at Hawaiian Weddings, I FEEL ABOSOLUTELY compelled to do just that so that I can sing her praises! The story: my girlfriend and I were vacationing in Hawaii and saw quite a few people getting married. As we walked through different hotels and beach fronts we saw actual ceremonies or just couples taking their wedding photos. After seeing this many times over our 7 day vacay, I could see the «itch» developing in my partner. To be fair, she and I have been together for many years but for a variety of different reasons had not taken the «leap» yet… CLOSE a couple of times, but had not seen it through. While sitting at a bar one evening, my girlfriend turns to me and says, «We really should’ve planned to get married while we’re here.» BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE! I thought for a moment and replied, «Well, maybe we still can???» Enter June at Hawaiian Weddings. After discussing ideas and the possibility of a wedding before we left in 2 days, we looked up a few things online and found I Do Hawaiian Weddings. The reviews were phenomenal in every way but I wasn’t sure if it could be pulled off on such short notice. I completed June’s online questionnaire and WITHIN FIVE MINUTES, June called me personally! She talked to us for about 10 minutes about what ideas we may have and when we wanted to do it. I thought surely telling her «Tomorrow» would be the end of the conversation. June calmly responded, «Oooh! Okay, give me an hour.» Within 40 minutes time, June had everything lined up: officiant, photographer/​videographer, and permit for beach weddings AND scheduled someone to come to our hotel to do hair/​make up on the bride to be! When she called us back, she gave us the details, thanked us for trusting her and the process, and for being flexible. All we had to do was buy some clothes and show up! No stress, no hassles, no worries! She also gave my gf the names of a few stores she could visit and go wedding dress shopping!
June made possible an amazing beachside wedding! The offiant, Brutus, was so warm and friendly. He conducted a traditional Hawaiian style wedding complete with offerings and blessings and made it magical! The camera/​video people were awesome and very laid back. Everything was about us and they were there to capture it all.
I cannot express how thankful we are to June and her team for taking all of the stress and pressure that normally comes with planning a wedding, and making it care-​free and unforgettable! I have honestly had more trouble in a drive-​thu getting my order right than we had letting June handle this life-​changing event for us!

I wished to surprise my Partner with a spontaneous marriage cermony. Time was tight and i feared we would have to settle with an impersonal quick exchange in a cold city office. We found June on line and are so fortunate that we did. From our first phone contact with her it was clear that we were looking forward to a truely beautiful experience. We met at the beach she suggested and the entire Cermony was calm, beautiful and worthy of the commitment we were making with each other. I cannot imagine that it could have been better had we planned months in advance. She also arranged to have a photoghapher present and the photos were very professional and very much fun given the beautiful location and the importance of the event. Thank you June for such a wonderful experience!

Organising a destination wedding from Australia it is always a bit scary when you have to book without being able to meet or get to know the people you are going to be working with. We we planning this one for our son and daughter in laws elopement and we were recommended June from a friend that had just recently married on the island. From the 1^st point of contact through to the actual day everything was so easy and everything went to plan, from the hair & makeup artist through to the ukulele singer on the beach. June was the perfect officiant for our wedding. There are not enough words to describe how perfect! Throughout the planning process her and her assistant were continuously helping me make decisions while my husband to be was training out in the desert! Not only did they help me decide on our location, but also a venue for the reception! When we met June in person on the day, she was so calm — which we really needed and appreciated! I cannot say enough about the professionalism and expertise of June Dillinger and her staff at I do Hawaiian Weddings. From our very first conversation with June, to the planning the details, her suggestions for the ceremony and especially the execution of the wedding ceremony of my partner and I could not have been better. June understood what we were looking for and presented exactly what we wanted. She made feel comfortable and at ease during the ceremoney. Her assistance with flower leis, photographer (Sean, who took prenominal photos) and musician (Butch and his Ukulele) made the day perfect. Not only were we impressed with the event as the Grooms, but our guests were also very pleased with everything. June and her team are amazing! When our original wedding venue fell through, June helped us find a new venue and walked us through the entire vision of how our ceremony would be. She was so helpful and kind along the way and on our wedding day everything was absolutely perfect. Debbie was our photographer and she was so friendly and kind as well. I would highly recommend I Do Hawaii Weddings to anyone!

«I Do Hawaiian Weddings» conducted our wedding service on the North Shore of Oahu in March this year. June and the team were very professional and well organised. They guided us through the process and we couldn’t have been happier with the ceremony or our officiant (Grace). Grace was on time, well prepared and pitched the service just right.

My wife and I wanted a non-​faith based wedding that touched upon Ohana and thankfulness for wonderful friends. She was super collaborative with the vows and was not only professional, but definitely emitted a caring demeanor throughout the ceremony. June was able to meet with us before the ceremony to make sure we were all were prepared beforehand. Everything went beautifully and we couldn’t thank June enough.

My husband and I were planning on a wedding ceremony in Tahiti, but quickly realized that the paperwork to get married internationally is a nightmare. We had a 30 hour layover in Honolulu, so we wanted to only sign papers to seal the deal. Conveniently enough, June offers this service. She came to our hotel at 8am and we were expecting, and only really needed, papers to sign and that’s it. Instead she made the whole thing SO special. She insisted on taking pictures to show our families, brought bubbles, gave us a page with a Hawaiian marriage blessing on it for us to keep as a memento, and was generally just incredibly warm and wonderful. We had honestly thought the document signing would be pretty emotionless and we were planning on saving all our excitement for Tahiti, but we ended up finishing up feeling like real newlyweds! This was 100% because of the way June took us through the process.
Afterward, she emailed us a link to our temporary marriage certificate, along with a really kind message. I cannot recommend this place enough. If June made our 20-​minute signing of papers feel so magical, I can’t imagine how great she’d be to have for a whole ceremony.

June provided a beautiful vow renewal service for us in a location we never would have thought of on our own — Kawela Bay. My husband and I were hoping this vow renewal could help us overcome some glitches we experienced at our wedding five years earlier (e.g. I didn’t have my carefully chosen bouquet of flowers when I walked down the aisle).
Our experience with June far exceeded our expectations. June handled all the details including the coordination of getting my hair & makeup done, having the photographer there, and ensuring I had my beautiful bouquet of flowers. She also gracefully handled a sticky situation that unexpectedly popped up — the filming of a movie onsite (who would have thought?). We had our ceremony as planned in a secluded area just down the beach from them. And the sunset at Kawela Bay was stunning.
We are thankful to June for helping us to create a beautiful and memorable experience.

The only stressful part of our wedding planning was choosing a coordinator. It ended there as soon as we choose June with I Do Hawaiian Weddings. Prior to our arrival all of our questions, concerns and changes were answered so quickly, we never had to hit «refresh» hoping for a reply.
The day of our wedding was absolutely spectacular! Our driver, Bill, picked us up promptly and gave us a call 10 minutes before he was to arrive to let us know. We were, of course, running behind, but he assured us that we had plenty of time and not to rush, that he would be waiting.
Upon arriving at Makapu’u Beach, June and her team were waiting for us and began Video (Owen) and Photography (Vince) as soon as we stepped our of the car. We felt like we were on the red carpet, lol.
We choose to have a Hawaiian Ceremony with Blake La Benz so we could have the Cracking of the Coconut. Blake was great and it was a wonderful ceremony, we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Overall, June and her team were absolutely amazing. It was our very special day and they made it all possible.

My husband and I renewed our vows on the beach for our 5^th anniversary this past September 21^st, and we couldn’t imagine it being any more magical than with June! From start to finish we received great service and communication, and the day of she went out of her way to ensure every moment was special. We would highly recommend her services to anyone, and look forward to renewing our vows in another 5 years in beautiful Honolulu with her!

June was very flexible and able to work with our very specific schedule. We did not plan ahead at all, but decided to marry shortly after same-​sex marriage became an option for us here in Hawaii. I wanted the official date to be the same as our previous ceremonies to consolidate anniversary dates. So I called June the day before and she was able to accommodate our tight schedule. Also, being our third ceremony, we did not want anything fancy or expensive. June made the very simple ceremony short and nice and even reminded us to take a couple of snap shots, which we had forgotten to do at our civil union. It was exactly what we were looking for! My Husband and I were married by June just 2 days ago at Kaka’ako Waterfront Park. (July 27, 2014) June was absolutely amazing. As soon as I found her through an online search and seen how much she truly loves what she does and how much passion she has, I knew she was the one that I wanted to marry us.
I have never met her before our wedding day. When we first met it was like we knew each other for years. Of course I was nervous but somehow she kept me calm and everything went smoothly. She was there every step of the way throughout our ceremony. It was absolutely PERFECT! Her words are so deep and she speaks with passion.

Her vows and style are amazing, and there’s a certain something about her that puts your mind at ease. We had lots of compliments on our choice of officiant, which was great, because that was the first time we were meeting her as well!

June Dillinger: Amazing
Even though June was there for our short ceremony, she performed beyond my expectations, from before the ceremony til the end. The day we called and reserved her service for our wedding day, instantly she wanted to get to know us on a personal level. She really has a passion for what she does and that showed on the day of our ceremony. She was very calming and soothing when our emotions got the best of us. June really has done a great job on making us feel comfortable, cuz we all know how nerve wrecking the day of our wedding can be.

We were married by June on 06÷30÷13 at Loulu Palm Estate in Haleiwa. June was very informative before the wedding. She corresponded to all of our emails and phone messages quickly. We wrote our own vows and she beautifully recited her vows to blend with ours.
My fiancé and I were very comfortable with her guidance during the ceremony. She definitely made our experience at the ceremony intimate and at ease. My fiancé and I felt that we were the only ones at the wedding because June was sincere and gracious.
We even received compliments on June’s service from our guests. People loved her energy. She even blessed our dinner.
Pros:

2– she drove all of the way from town to North Shore
3– she is open and flexible with customizing the vows
4– very loving and fully present (focused on us)
5– professionally dressed
6– she is a true believer of love

1– we would have to wait to renew our vows to hire her again!
