BUYERBEWARE! !! I will NEVER shop here again and I will tell ever tourist and every visiting friend and family to not set foot in any Crazy Shirt store. I’ve spent thousands of dollars in these stores over the past five years. Yes, they have good quality shirts, so there’s justification behind the high dollar amount on their products, but they have no concern or appreciation for their repeat customers! I’d much rather buy the cheapie shirts from the hard working families at the swap meets from now on. I was a very loyal customer always buying gifts for my friends and family from here so I could utilize my «rewards» card everytime I purchased something. You know, spend $ 2512 different times and get a free shirt. If you do the math, that’s $ 400 and I had gone through at least 3 reward cards. Well the last time I tried to use one, I was informed that they discontinued the cards and started a new«rewards» program. I felt entitled to still get my free shirt and you’d think they’d honor that after dropping another $ 400 bucks in their store, right? Nope. They wouldn’t even offer me a discount. They could clearly tell I was highly upset, but didn’t seem to care. They kept trying to push their new rewards program. Why in the world would I participate in another rewards program if they’re not going to be loyal on their end?? I even contacted their corporate head quarters via email to complain and of course did not receive a response. I’d give them no stars if possible! Oh, and I frequent the ones in California and the east coast, so you best believe I’ll be warning my friends and family there too!

Let’s start with the obvious. Yes, shirts are expensive but they are of high quality. We wound up here by the word of our pet sitter who used to live in Hawaii. We came for the cat shirts! The store was nice and we’ll kept. I was very happy with that. Not too much to say there being that it was nice and clean. Our rep, named Travis, was awesome! If Crazy Shirts always employs people like him they will always be successful! He was so kind, knowledgeable of product, and helpful. It’s hard to remember the last time I ever experienced customer service like that! Due to the experience he provided I will recommend this store to others AND continue to purchase here either online or in person. If Crazy Shirts knows well enough to employee this quality of people I have to give them my business! Well done! We’ll be back(online and in store)! Thanks Travis!

This is our favorite location of Crazy Shirts in Oahu so this is the one I’m choosing to review. If you are visiting Oahu you will inevitably find yourself in the market for a T-shirt to take home with you. Given the ridiculous pricing especially in Waikiki, you will also find yourself hard up to find a quality shirt for the price. Crazy Shirts is that place. Over the years I have bought several shirts from here and they have all held up better than any other shirts I can remember. Not just the shirt fabric but the designs on them sustain through repeated washings. Visit Crazy as your first and last stop for shirts. By then you will have seen what else is out there, and you’ll agree this is the place to buy something that’s going to last you a while.

Last minute shopping practically underneath our Hotel(Embassy Suites). Service was so damn friendly, it was almost to the point of corniness.(though NOT complaining) Girls walked out with some free stickers as well which they loved. Great shop, extremely helpful, very friendly…

I was determined to get a t-shirt from Hawaii that was excellent quality. On top of that, I owed my sister a t-shirt from Hawaii after I tore up her favorite one a few years ago. This shirt mission is imperative during my stay in Hawaii. There are multiple Crazy Shirts locations along Waikiki.(Some aren’t listed on Unilocal yet!) This is one of the bigger Crazy Shirts stores and along the way to Waikiki beach. Huge design selection and size ranges. As in I didn’t know they make shirts that big sort of big. I quickly found what I wanted and just as quickly got them paid. About the Shirts: 1. Fabric is thick but breathable. One of the most comfortable shirts you will own. 2. Some of the designs are intentionally cheesy and funny. Witty one-liners(‘Bank of Dad’), top 10 lists, and things like that. Perfect for your older relatives or people that need their statement t-shirt. If you’re looking for something more subtle and cool you can find those at Crazy Shirts, too. When I went to this location the seasonal shirt line was a co-brand with Disney. This promotion just started but the designs are great. I ended up getting my sister a green tank top that had Tinkerbell fluttering about:

Did anyone know that crazy shirts people have to go to crazy shirts university before working here? I didn’t until I met my husband! It’s a real place in Aiea. Who knew? I gave this store 5 stars based on our salesperson’s service. He was so nice to my son who was running around and taking clothes off the shelves. I felt bad but the guy really loved talking to him and playing with him. He kept telling him to go to Moanalua HS to become a Menehune like him. So cute. We ended up getting a Disney crazy shirt and the guy was really helpful to us even if there was a Japanese tourist buying like 10 shirts right next to us. Also crazy shirts are made really well(even if they’re ti leaf dyed or beer dyed). My mom had one for 10 years and it never faded or frayed. What kind of tshirt do you have that you can say that about? None! Go Crazy Shirts University!

I am crazy for Crazy Shirts. I have been ever since my brother and dad brought back a couple of shirts for me last year. I love how the material is so breathable and the designs are just hip. The clincher for me is how well they sit on my petite non-Barbie-doll frame. The quality and dedication to using eco-friendly products and production methods are reminiscent of our good old Mountain Equipment Co-Op. But what sets Crazy Shirts apart are the funky designs. Reversible shorts made out of recycled plastic bottles that reveal flowery designs when wet? It’s just too cool. So, when I was in Hawaii this summer, Crazy Shirts was on my list of Top 10 places I had to go. Seriously. The store on Lewers Street is part of Waikiki Beachwalk, which is apparently the largest development in Waikiki. The staff were so friendly and hip. It was like we were talking with long lost buddies. Without being pushy, they found out what my companion and I were looking for and then let us get down to business. Very helpful regarding sizes, especially when I was trying to figure out sizes for my god-children and younger cousins. Their gift-wrapping detail is top notch. My god-children got sea-themed stickers included(gratis) with their gifts and the sea turtle sticker on the outside. Eli and the gang just laughed when we returned on the last night of our trip to buy even more shirts — shirts for the entire family! We talked about all the places we visited. Eli, our«buddy» at the till nodded in approval as I described the shaved ice I ate at Matsumoto’s on the North Shore. Excellent service. Well lit store. Well laid out and spaced. Very stylish products, including shirts that are coffee-dyed, chocolate-dyed, wined-dyed, etc. As another reviewer pointed out, the clothing ain’t cheap but I say you get what you pay for: good quality eco-friendly clothing that’s a little different from what you’d get at a normal store. Besides, most fashion t’s are around $ 25 so their pricing scheme seems rational. I was going to do this review earlier but it slipped my mind. At least, until I got an email from Crazy Shirts, unveiling their long-sleeved t’s. Why oh why don’t they have a location in Canada?
