Company does a fabulous quality job. The installers we had, Craig and Bill, were great and certainly experts. They knew what they were doing, were very meticulous, and the floor looks impeccable. The only issue for me was the chemical smell for about a day or so. It dissipated fairly fast but, for someone who is sensitive to scents, it would’ve been nice to be prepared to deal with that part of the installation. Otherwise, in terms of the process and outcome, we can only say positive things about it. Thank you!

Epoxy armor systems did a spectacular job on my garage floor. The two gentlemen that came were professional and courteous they were very thorough. And my floor looks amazing. I will be recommending this company to any of my neighbors that would like to have this done to their garage floor. I rarely make comments on Unilocal and less I’m extremely happy with the service that I received. Top notch company!

We like to do business locally and when I called Epoxy Armor Systems they were able to come out the next day. We wanted something different, something that popped out. Warren was able to suggest a black and white with sparkle silver flakes that looked really good. We wanted more silver and he was able to talk with manufacturer to do a custom batch. We were very please as it came out perfect. Would recommend to all my friends!

I decided to finish my garage to what i had envisioned for a while. After finishing installing lighting and painting, I started looking into a flooring surface rather than the stained concrete. I live in South Lake Tahoe so I was concerned with the floor being able to withstand the abuse of a snow covered vehicle being parked in the garage.
I started looking into the do it yourself epoxy. After reading all the negative reviews and lack of reliability, I then looked into the tiles that snap together on the floor. I then read having tiles in a snow climate area, requires removal of the tile from time to time and cleaning the concrete underneath. Definitely something I did not want to deal with.
I decided it was worth the extra money to have an epoxy floor professionally installed. I did a google search of epoxy companies near by south lake tahoe. I came across Epoxy Armor Systems and its positive reviews. I decided to call to see if they came up to Tahoe for jobs.
I spoke to Warren on the phone who said they come up the hill all the time and it was no problem. Warren quoted me $ 1700 for a 400 sq ft 2 car garage. I decided i would also check with a local company who also do epoxy flooring. This local company quoted me $ 3000 for the same garage!
I called Warren back and set up a day to start the installation. He then put me on the phone with Wendy who was very helpful throughout the process. Wendy scheduled to complete my garage floor on a Thursday and Friday. Wendy said people would show up between 11:00 and noon.
Thursday at 11:02, a crew promptly arrived at my house, could not believe it. Thomas was very polite and professional and immediately starting diamond grinding the garage. Thomas and his partner finished the first days work in about 4.5 hours. Thomas told me he had scuffed the walls in a couple spots during the install. (I could care less to touch a couple spots, stuff happens) Thomas said they would return the following morning at 9 am.
Thomas and his partner arrived right on time, again. They completed the clear coat and floor looked beautiful. Thomas also found my left over paint and touched up the spots on the walls. Could not be happier with the overall experience with Epoxy Armor Systems!

We just had the floor installed in our new home. The staff who applied it worked very hard, had it done in just two days, and it looks fantastic!

Our garage floor was 40 years old and suffered from 40 yeas of snow, ice and road salt. There were many cracks, gaps and a lot of chipped cement. My husband and I really had doubts that this epoxy system would be able to overcome the garage floor problems. Warren assured us that the system would work for us.
Well, my husband had new electrical outlets installed and had the garage sheet rocked, taped, textured & painted. Sean Carrera and another installer came to prep our garage floor and apply the epoxy flooring. They really had their work cut out for them. A few days later two other employees came to apply the finish. What a remarkable difference!!! Warren was right!
The crews that did the work did not waste any time. They were very polite and helpful. My husband and I would highly recommend this company and crew for any garage resurfacing job. Thanks Sean and crew! Thanks Warren!

Wendy and Warren were extremely helpful at every step of the way during the planning and refinishing of my garage floor!
They have wonderful communication skills and great follow-​through.
The guys who did the work – Thomas and Tui (spelling?) were real artists. They were cheerful and extremely hard-​working even though the project took an extra day and the temperatures were triple-​digit.
The floor had industrial carpeting glued onto cracked cement. It was a former music studio, and I intend to use it as a ceramic studio. We had no idea HOW cracked it was until the carpet was pulled up. It was bad, and there was adhesive everywhere. Also, it was very uneven.
Not anymore! It’s gorgeous!

These guys were great from the start by getting the job scheduled with little notice (having to thread the needle between us getting the keys and our movers arriving). Craig led the installation and was very friendly and professional. Perhaps most importantly, our garage floor turned out great!

Epoxy Armor Systems resurfaced my garage floor in Incline Village, Nevada with their epoxy coating. The crew of Thomas and Tuye was exceptional. They were friendly, efficient and very thorough. They were punctual and actually arrived early. They called en route to keep me updated. They went out of their way to help me when the contractor who was supposed to remove an old refrigerator and a slab of granite was a bit late. They were polite and answered all of my questions. The result is that my garage floor looks awesome, the cracks are filled in and the floor will be much easier to maintain. I highly recommend Warren and Wendy the proprietors of Epoxy Armor Systems. Their price was lower than the competitor’s and their quality was outstanding.

We dealt with Warren Ruben in the planning stages and he was quite helpful in helping us to narrow down our garage floor options. The guys that showed up at our home in Lake Wildwood to do the job were fantastic. Tomas has 10 years of experience in doing epoxy floor treatments and it was very apparent he really knew his business. He and partner Tuohey were on time each morning, highly professional and we are very pleased with the results. There were a number of major cracks in the floor and they did a great job of smoothing them out and then filling them.

I am a hardcore DIY’er and rarely hire anyone to do work that I can do myself.
In 2004, my wife and I moved to a new home and I gutted and remodeled the interior. When I got to the garage, I decided I wanted a ‘finished’ look for the floor rather than the ‘dirt and oil stained’ look I’ve had in the past.
After some research, I decided on Rust-Oleum’s two-​part Epoxy Shield Garage Floor Coating with a clear coat finish. I followed the directions to the letter and broke my back on the prep work in order to obtain optimal results. When I got done, I was pleased with the look, but quickly found that the clear coat was so glossy and slippery that even the smallest amount of water under foot would result in a fall.
A year later, I noticed that the clear coat was taking on a yellowish cast wherever the sun shown through the open garage door and though a window. Year by year, it continued to yellow until the clear coat finally broke down and started peeling from the floor. When I called Rust-​Oleum to ask why their clear coat degraded when exposed to UV, they responded by saying, «It’s not rated for outdoor use.» (Thank you, Rust-​Oleum.)
So, after 10 years of looking at my floor deteriorate, I threw in the towel and decided to turn to a pro to have it refinished. I did my research and got recommendations from a local painter and contractor for Epoxy Armor Systems located in El Dorado Hills. I spoke with Warren Ruben (the owner of EAS) and was impressed with his candid comments and knowledge of the industry. When I asked for the name of a recent job of theirs in my area to visit, I was quickly given one just a few miles from my home.
I must say, when my wife and I viewed this job, we were stunned with how good it looked. We found that the floor finish was not the least bit slippery and, after two years, the areas exposed to daily UV were bright and clear. After discussing the overall job with the owner (one of the most meticulous people I’ve ever met) I decided to go with EAS and have the job done right.
The EAS crew showed up on time and were prepared to do the job. Their prep work was excellent (even though it was made more difficult as they had to grind off all of the epoxy coating I’d applied and also work under my existing cabinets —. it’s truly brutal work). They removed all of the imperfections, filled every crack and hole, then applied a base coat and color chips. That was left to dry overnight. The next day, the floor was prepped for the clear coat and finished.
Overall, their work was top drawer and their clean-​up was perfect. From start to finish, it was obvious that they have done hundreds (if not thousands) of these floors and are truly experts at their work. Their attention to detail is wonderful.
Doing this level of floor coating is not inexpensive as the majority of the cost is in the materials. However, it is of exceptional quality and far superior to anything available to the public via a big box store and the results are better than anything you can accomplish on your own.
If you’re thinking of doing this job yourself, my advice is — don’t. There are some things that you just shouldn’t take on and this is one of them. Spend the money and do the job right the first time. You’ll be glad you did.

FIVE stars all the way with this business! I called very much at the last minute earlier this week in a sheer panic to try to find someone to get our garage floors done in a pinch since we were having second thoughts about trying to use a DIY kit from Home Depot and do it ourselves. Once I started reading reviews about the DIY kits and how terrible they were I knew I couldn’t do that to our new home!
I called and Wendy answered and she was so knowledgeable and awesome. She was not pushy at ALL and gave me a ton of great information on their products and pricing. She even drove all the way out to Davis to show me the color flake choices and eased my mind about my choice. Then, she moved their schedule around at the last minute to accomodate our hectic moving schedule! Are you kidding me?! SHE WAS AWESOME!!! The installers were very professional and patient as I kept walking out to watch them do their work. It’s so beautiful and as much as I want to start organizing our garage, I am going to be very patient and wait at least a week before putting anything on those gorgeous floors! I almost feel like its going to be so wrong to drive on them! Thanks, Epoxy Armor Systems! You are the best!

This is one of the very rare times I wish I could give more than 5 stars to a business.
From start to finish, installing a beautiful epoxy flooring in my garage was a first class job in every way. Ray in sales was very informative and helpful, plus he gave me a lot of assistance in getting a workable color to match what I had in my garage. No high pressure sales tactics with Ray, he has a good product to sell and just wants to have a happy customer.
Tom and his partner during the installation process were extremely proficient in their work. Fantastic preparation of the floor, grinding, patching, detailing. There were several cracks to fill and resurface on my concrete. At the conclusion of the work there is not one flaw anywhere in the surface of the epoxy coated floor.
Tom was on time every morning, great to work with, very knowledgeable on the materials he was using, and the quality of his work gives you a lot of confidence in the finished product. They cleaned up so well after each days work you wouldn’t have known they were ever on the property.
My next door neighbor also had EAS install a custom garage flooring at the same time as my project, and he is just as happy with the finished product as I am.
EAS has been doing garage floors in our area for a long time. They installed a floor of another family member two years ago, and even with a level of abuse I would never allow on my garage floor, the floor surface still looks like the day it was installed. An extremely hard and durable finish.
I don’t think you can beat the price EAS will quote to you, especially for the quality of the work and products used. EAS is also a local company, and the service rep. is just a quick phone call away if you need any follow up on their work.
If you are considering adding a rich looking, durable floor surface to you garage, give Epoxy Armor Systems an opportunity to bid on the job. You won’t be sorry.
