We asked for quotes around the east bay area (Floor Store, Home Depot, Lowe’s etc) and finally decided on Jay of Carpet 4 less. He is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He provided us with the information needed to make an informed decision.
There are a lot of choices to be made. but everything was seamless with Jay. From measurements, choice of materials and quotes. Everything was overwhelming for us but working with him made it easier. Communication is spot on. The materials installed is quality and the workmanship of the installation by his workers is great. All was done within the time frame promised (actually, they finished earlier than expected LOL). We had carpet removed from our home and replaced it with AC-​4 Laminate. (Yes AC-​4… i learned that from him ;-))
I do not hesitate to recommend him to my colleagues and friends! Do consider getting a quote from him if you need any flooring work done. See how pretty my new floor looks!!!

Much thanks to Jay at Carpets 4 Less. You were very helpful in providing laminate, linoleum and carpeting for our rental property. Jay went above and beyond service. He measured our home and had an estimate ready in just a few hours of us stopping in to his store. He also put us in contact with a house painter, that did an amazing job of painting the entire house. His employees went above and beyond getting our home ready to re-​rent. I could not be happier with our new flooring and will be a repeat customer.

I recently had an insurance nightmare along with a household disaster and Carpet 4 Less made our nightmare a lot easier on us. Knowing they actually cared about our family and were so understanding and helped us every step of the way. We had carpet, linoleum, and laminate flooring replaced and we are very satisfied with the quality of the products and the service. I will most definitely reccomend them to everyone I know looking for flooring.

Jay is the man. I went through at least 10 quotes from contractors and home depot, Lowes, you name it. We were eating at the new bennihana knock off in the same complex. We see this little shop «carpets4less». My wifes all lets go take a look. We walk in there and Jay was on it. I told him i wanted dark and was looking at the laminate price. He laid out a ton of wood but we found what we wanted pretty quickly. So we signed up and DOH, the phone call we didnt want to hear. Its going to be weeks to get it. DOH… i was cool with it, my wife was not. She gave Jay a call and next thing i know, we are back in the store that day after work. He had just got a couple new vendor shipments of laminants and we were checking those out. Wasn’t happening. Jay didn’t have our original budget so I told him, hey show my that same wood in the engineered and we may step it up. Sure enough, we found it. At that point, we had moved up to a larger budget. =sigh= With that said, best move we made.
First of all, the wood is phenominal.
2nd of all, Jay’s installers are not only 8+ years experience, if you have a kid, they don’t mind the supervision by the kid and keeping them busy. My daughter just wanted to hang out and they were more than fine with keeping her busy and watching what they were up to while putting the floor in.
Talk to Jay. High end floors or just carpets, he’s obviously got the hookup on the pro’s.
Lastly, i walked in there and said Jay, all i have heard is I cant move your furniture, im not hauling your carpet away or im not doing your base boards. I asked him to do EVERYTHING for me. All he asked me to do is paint my new base boards so they can install them for me.
Jay had me sold when he said «we’ll do it all».
