Fix It By Design

This is the 2^nd time we’ve allowed Gary and Terry to come in and do stuff for us. The first time, they installed some wood floors and they were great. So we decided they should build us some storage in our laundry room. We showed them a bunch of random stuff we found on pinterest and listened to their recommendations on how to proceed. Good thing too because their ideas were way better than ours. The best part of the entire thing is the paint. If I had to describe Gary’s painting skills using only one word, it would be «Warhol». Apparently painting is his favorite thing to do, because he did such an amazing job. They did great work even though they kept randomly quoting Crocodile Dundee for some reason.

I can’t begin to tell you how very lucky we were to find Gary and Terry. Not only did they turn our outdated and dark kitchen in to a spectacular modern yet traditional masterpiece, they are extremely professional and got the job done in a timely matter.
Their excellent resources for supplies and overall knowledge of their craft totally set our minds at ease. Love these guys and HIGHLY recommend Fix It By Design! We will definitely use them to do our bathrooms:) I wish I could post a before and after photo! They’re amazing!

I needed a crew to handle the finishing of my kitchen after I closed on a new DR. Horton build. I convinced the builder to leave the kitchen bare so that I could customize it. Gary and Terry arrived, and I showed them a picture from houzz that I wanted replicated. I handed them the product I selected, and they brought it to life.
They were in my house for nearly a week tacking a very specific and tough job. The outcome is truly spectacular and I believe I have the nicest kitchen in the neighborhood thanks to them. The price point for the work was very reasonable. While we came in well over the bid, they communicated with me at every point and I approved every change. No surprises.
Subsequently, they’ve finished out my closet for me and tackled some painting.
If they’re busy, I wait. They’re worth it. I trust them with their own key when I can’t be around. That’s not something you find every day.
You won’t be disappointed! I trust these guys to bring my visions to life and you should, too!

Gary and Terry recently completed a partial bathroom renovation for me which consisted of the installation of a new tub, tile surround and tile flooring.
I communicated with Gary via email with the particulars of my project and he was prompt in answering any and all questions I had (they were plentiful) prior to the start of the work. Before the project commenced, Gary communicated his timeline to me and continued to do so throughout.
Gary and Terry were considerate of my home, protecting any surfaces that could possibly be damaged by them or their equipment during the course of the day. They arrived when they said they would and also cleaned up thoroughly after each day’s work.
Gary and Terry make a great team and I will not hesitate to call on them the next time I have a home improvement project in mind.

We hired Gary to refit our house with new flooring and a kitchen and bathroom remodel. Gary and his staff were so helpful and considerate and did their best to work around our home schedules (I work from home).
The quality of the work was first rate, and Gary’s input into our ideas just made our home «Pop». we asked for quotes from some of the bigger renovation contractor companies and was shocked at how high they were. The quote we received from Gary was much more reasonable and the end price, after we asked for some changes and upgrades as the job continued, made us very happy.
I thoroughly recommend Gary and Fix it By Design as a first rate contractor and a we enjoy his great work every time we walk into our home.
