Distinctive Wood Crafts is a family run custom cabinet shop in the Austin area. We have over 50 years of construction experience and know that it is both quality of service and product that is important. We build everything as if it is going into our own home. We custom build: Vanities, Entertainment Centers, Built-​in, Kitchens, Libraries, Aquarium Stands, Tables, Bench and on and on.

We have been seen in TRIBEZA, This Old House magazines and in two AIA Home Tours as well as NARI (the National Association of Remodeler’s Home Tours.) We are also featured on Angie’s List.

All of our clients are important and most of our clients are referrals or repeat customers.

Business Owner

CLAIRE DONNOLO — A graduate of St Edward’s University, Claire return to New York for family reasons, where she worked in the computer industry before finding her passion in construction. Claire’s last project in Manhattan was as Owner Representative for Ernst & Youngs’ 40 story corporate headquarters at 5 Time Square. Her responsibilities included interfacing with Corporate Executives and coordinating with over forty consultants. The project budget was $ 240,000,000 and included a $ 1.5 Million dollar mock-​up

SONNY POISEL is truly a jack of all trades, he has mastered most. Sonny is a Master Carpenter and was 2^nd in the Texas Golden Hammer Award. He worked at Patella Woodworking for years supervising high-​end residential renovations. Sonny spent years being a General Superintendent in Texas and in the New York Area. rojects range from building track & high-​end homes to heavy construction dealing with structural wood, steel and concrete.
