Five Star Painting

We used Five Star Painting and they did a great job. Roland Castillo team painted 3 of the kids rooms. They were on time and made sure they cleaned up after themselves was just a bonus after doing a great job.

Highly recommend Five Star Painting of Austin. They did a terrific job of removing the popcorn ceiling in one of the rooms in our house. We also had they paint the room. The job as a whole was extremely professional, and the workers were very attentive to what we wanted done.
If you are looking for a painter to paint, remove popcorn ceiling, and restore dry wall, give Five Star Painting a call.

The painter did a great job, in a reasonable amount of time, and for a great price. We had multiple walls that were two stories high, and they managed to get it al! Would definitely work with Five Star Painting in the future :)

Professional and affordable! If you want it done right, go with these guys. We had a great experience with Five Star about a year ago. I just found my rave review saved without posting, so this is a very belated thank you for their excellent service. I’d did extensive research before choosing Five Star. Their knowledge and flexibility in pricing was spot on!

Leaving another excellent review for Five Star Painting. We had them do our interior last year, and just had them complete our exterior. They were very flexible and communicated well with our schedule (we had a crazy dog we had to be home to take care of), as well as a few weeks of rainy weather that we had to work around.
As with our interior — they were very clean, fast and the work was top quality. They did great work on some repairs on the exterior as well, prior to painting. Also, pricing was very competitive.
Both Wade and his crew were all very nice and easy to work with as well. I would highly recommend them.

I made a call to this company, and originally spoke with WADE WILCOX. He made me feel comfortable that he would be able to provide our company with two separate bids for two of our properties, and would visit in the next three days. Fast forward to ELEVEN days later with no response from him through email, I reach out to the office who gets him to contact me. When I ask him for some details of what all he still needed from me, he took a very rude tone, I told him I felt as though he was getting an attitude with me. He then huffed that I «WAS BEING VERY FRUSTRATING» and said we should agree that HE did not want to do business with ME and then hung up! I am in shock that someone would be so rude when he is providing a service. These two properties would have had a large price tag for this company. Glad he lost out! BEWARE OF WADE!

Five Star painted our house and did a fantastic job. They came when they said they would, fixed a couple of little spots that needed attention and the house looks great!

Wade and Oscar were always on time and quick to respond to any and all communication. The price was true to the quote, remarkable these days! The crew, despite language issue, tried to understand what we were asking. All and all I give the a 5 star rating and would hire them again.

I called 3 different Painters, and Five Star was the only one that did what they said they would do. I got a fast estimate, and the job took less time than they said it would. It looks great, and Wade came by to sign off on the job before the workers left. I recommend Five Star for your painting needs.

Roland, Oscar, and their crew did an excellent job on our interior painting. The price was extremely competitive, the crew did an exceptional job and detail was great. My wife made several changes during the process with no problems. Best of all, the job was completed two days ahead of schedule! We have already recommended them to several of our friends and intend to use them for exterior painting later this Spring.

DO NOT USE. Purchased a coupon. Called and made an appointment. 39 minutes prior to the time of the appointment, a guy called in a sarcastic tone and informed us the fine print limited the radius to 10 miles from their office and we were 20. They were refusing the coupon and would only honor the work at full price even though they did not tell us this when we made the appointment and changed our schedules to meet them.
This is complete lack of integrity. Avoid bad actors such as these kinds of companies.

I have given them 2 stars instead of 1 simply due to the fact that they did course correct the issue. Unfortunately it took 4 visits to do so.
I was stood up one day and waited hours with no call about delay on three separate occasions. They used the wrong roller for the type of work they were doing and they also left dust and debris all over my conference rooms. I don’t appreciate people who are inconsiderate and can’t even call when they are late or pick up after themselves. Mind you, this is a corporate office so I spent 3 weekends at work and one evening to get this done. They were reasonably priced, but the amount of time it took to get the job done… if I had billed my extra hours at work, it would have been just as much as the competitors.
What a waste of my time.
I also caught their crew eating the cookies I leave out for my employees. If you hadn’t showed up an hour late… I would have given you cookies.
My entire office building utilizes white dry erase walls. I was ready to refer them to all 5 floors. I would not even consider calling them again even though I already have more needs here.

The painting crew, Oscar and Wade did a good job on the exterior of our house. During the entire process we received quick responses to all of our questions. We received a very reasonable estimate for the work necessary to paint our house compared to other companies in town. Five Star offers a workmanship warranty for any issues that may occur after the work has been completed. No missed appointments, no damage to the house, no deviation from the signed agreement, no issues at all. Professional. Reasonable. Easy to work with. Oscar did a good job as project manage.

We had an appointment at our new house with Five Star for a full exterior paint job. My husband was stood up and nobody called afterward to apologize/​reschedule. We have, of course, given our business to another company.

I needed to get my condo re-​painted in a hurry (in-​between tenants) and I had used 5 star painting before and really had a great experience. I called and received excellent customer service, they were able to accomodate my request for a rush order, the estimate was reasonable, and it was a job well done. I appreciate quality service and would recommend Wade and his team to anyone I know!

I’m not sure if I’m having a bad luck or what but I submitted a request online 2 weeks ago to see if I can a quote for my games and study room to be painted. The initial contact was great. The customer service called me within 5 minutes after I submitted my request. She asked for some details and she said she will run it to Wade to see if I can get somebody to give me estimates over the weekend.
Few days later I received an email that said they’ve been contacting me but not successful and if I’m still interested to get a quote to reply to the email (weird, because nobody left me a voicemail). But I thought to myself, this could probably just a technical glitch so I replied to the email and said I’m still interested and no I never had anyone contacting me.
Then few days after that I received another call from customer service and she acted like she didn’t know that I even asked for estimates during weekend. She said (again) that she will talk to Wade to organize weekend estimates.
Fast forward to last week, I got another automated email that said they have not been able to contact me and they will stop trying. Really? you guys never come back to me with date/​time on when I can get somebody to give me estimates. No voicemail too I should add. And I have my phone with me ²⁴⁄₇ and I don’t see any missed calls either. So I’m not sure how you get the ideas that you were unable to reach me. Anyway after that I gave up. I don’t know why I bother going through this for 2 weeks just for a free estimates. You set your painting company like a call center, too complicated. I just want a simple quote and get my rooms painted.
For others who had great experiences, I’m sure the quality of the paint is fabulous. But personally it’s not worth the run around for me.
