Pacific Coast Carpet

Had a seam in our Berber carpet that was installed years ago that had a few loop ends starting to show — called with a concern about the issue and they came out, advised of «why» and trimmed the area of concern. Now you can not see anything but smooth constant carpet. Great customer service! Thanks Robin and John!

Twelve years ago Pacific Coast Carpets installed beautiful Wilson Art Floors and carpet throughout our home. Fantastic job! Roll forward to this year (2015) when we had a slab leak in April that unfortunately ruined the Wilson Art Floors needing for us to replace it. We returned to the flooring store we trust, Pacific Coast Carpets. We were very sad to learn Wilson Art stopped making laminates in 2010, so we had to pick another floor. It was a hard choice but we decided to go with a Tarkett Luxury Vinyl flooring since it was water proof and scratch resistant, plus from the advertisements and Tarkett web site, it looked like a great product for a busy home. Pacific Coast Carpets did a fantastic job installing the Tarkett Luxury Vinyl flooring, and it looked great.
Within days noticeable scratches were all over the Tarkett Luxury Vinyl flooring. Within 3 weeks there were literally hundreds of scratches and dents in the flooring where the chairs where. We called Pacific Coast Carpet, and they came out to our house to inspect what was going on. They called and had Tarkett representative come out to our home to inspect the numerous scratches, dents and now noticeable ripples in the Tarkett Luxury Vinyl Tile flooring. The Tarkett representative sent a sample to the Tarkett manufacturing plant for testing. Several month passed and finally Tarkett told us there was nothing wrong with the floor.
Rolling a vacuum cleaner over the Tarkett Luxury Vinyl Tile caused scratches. My 80 pound dogs caused scratches. Me sitting in a chair caused dents (I weight 150 lbs!!). To their word, Pacific Coast Carpet said they would «make it good». They replaced the terrible Tarkett Luxury Vinyl Tile flooring without charge with a laminate of my choice. The new floors are beautiful — no scratches, no dents.
Pacific Coast Carpet will have our business for flooring forever!

Get the word out… Do not purchase Tarkett Luxury Vinyl Tile. It is garbage!

We passed by Pacific Coast Carpets many times while heading into Costco. We stopped by to look at carpet. We took several samples home. John came out to measure and gave us an estimate within a couple of days. The carpet installers where wonderful and we love the carpet we picked. We went back to look at hardwood flooring and was helped by Chris. He had great ideas and spent allot of time with us. We finally picked a laminate and absolutely love it. These folks are just wonderful. They are professional and do great work. I have recommended them to my friends.

Nice selection, a bit high on price, but they claim not to be. Found John to tell a nice story, but not follow thru on his word.
Lots of installation issues however, the workers were in a big rush to get my house done and they took some shortcuts, primarily with our furniture, which was distressing.
My sleep number bed wouldn’t work after they left, my tv cable was totally messed up. These 2 issues cost me more money.
There were also problems with where they moved my husbands oxygen.
It is hard to be disabled, my husband I are both disabled. I am very sad that the 2 installers did not show more respect and consideration for that. We had a full house install and the process was traumatic.
I still need them to come back and cut the carpet in my closet for the crawl space, which I feel was overlooked on purpose, as was a heavy dresser that was not put back.
I have asked for 2 months for care instructions, and they have yet to send me anything, I have asked over 5 times. I am tired of asking and being told that it’s in the mail. I give up.

I don’t even know where to begin! I had found a carpet at Lowe’s that I really liked but wanted to see what Pacific Coast Carpet had to offer since I had heard lots of good things about them. They set up a measuring appointment. The employee they sent out to measure was prompt, professional and quick! Back at the shop Bob spent so much time helping me find a match for the carpet I had found at Lowe’s, he came in with an estimate beating Lowe’s price AND we discovered Lowe’s had over-​measured our project. Bob was able to schedule me my install within a week! Salvadore came out to install on time, was professional and courteous. I had just painted all my baseboards and I had been advised I would have to do some touch up after the carpet was put in… Not the case… it’s in perfect condition!

With deep disappointment I write this review. My wife and I went to Costco for our hardwood floor needs. There we picked up a toll free number and talked to a representative from Pacific Coast Carpet. A nice man (Joe) came to our house measured for hardwood floor areas. Got a quote that was about $ 2k above our budget. We were leaving for a vacation, so he said that think about it amd we can let him know while we are away (via email). He will hold the time slots for install, so there is no delay. We also had restrictions on the timing of the install (needed the floors to be installed before Oct14). Joe assured us that he can install them within our timeline. While we were away, we made the decision to move forward with their quote. However, he said that that they can’t start work until mid-​Oct. Extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service… or just that PCC’s word doesn’t mean anything!

We had our carpets and the linoleum in our bathroom replaced by Pacific Coast Carpets and I must say that I was very pleased with their service, product and their prices. Their installers were very prompt, professional and very respectful of our place. They completed the job within the time frame they said they would. I would definitely recommend Pacific Coast Carpets to anyone who is looking to replace their floorings in any room in the house.

Prior to moving into my new place I wanted to change ALL the carpet (approx. 1300 sq. ft.). I called around and decided to take a visit to Pacific Coast. I’m glad I did!!! The showroom is very modest, but I was greeted by Bob and everything just got better from there! They have an amazing selection, they are not pushy, they offer sound advice, they have a HUGE selection, and the entire process was handled professionally and quickly. The installation was perfomed on time and far exceeded my expectations (thanks Javier and Pedro). The house looks brand new!!! You can call around but you will be hard-​pressed to find better prices and service.

These guys were fabulous! Very helpful picking out sizes and colors. I was desperate to get two large «area rugs» before an event I was hosting. They promised one carpet would be ready the day before the event, but couldn’t promise the other one would be ready as I was having them bound. Lo and behold, both carpets were done two days early! I was super happy with their service and the product.

We had Mannington hardwood floors put in two rooms that were layed at a 45 degree angle that were matched perfectly to previously flooring in our house. These guys matched the floor lines perfectly and it came out great. They did the job in 1 day when they thought it would take 2 and half to 3 days. From coming in that morning, ripping out carpet, prepping the concrete and installing the flooring (at a 45 degree angle mind you) all in one day and doing a clearly professional job. I dealt with John (owner), Kristin, and Robin. They were all a great help and extremely personable. My wife was home and they arrived when they said they would and cleaned up before leaving. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know looking to get any kind of flooring done.

There customer service is on point friendly and they explain the material and processes with the install. Working with Jim is great with scheduling and working with the client schedule. I bought a carpet and had it cut and bound into an area rug for my large family room area. I have been looking for months but could never find the quality I wanted for a reasonable price. Bob called me after I had been into the store a couple times and said he had the perfect carpet for a great price because it was a remnant and it was similar to the color scheme I was looking at. It was perfect! Perfect color! Perfect quality! Great price! Our family room feels like a «family room» now. So cozy. Thanks Bob!

Jennifer came to my home, did the measure and gave me a very reasonable quote to do the job. She was very professional, won’t even sit down on the chair I offered her. She told me that once she reaches her office, she will send me the details in writing, which she did and gave me an appointment for soon thereafter. I was really surprised at how smooth the whole thing went and how reasonably priced they were. The day of the job, there was a little bit of a problem with the first contractor, however, Jennifer and Bob, took over and solved the problem within a few hours. They sent another good contractor at my house to finish the job and the whole job just finished wonderfully and very timely. This most certainly was a very pleasant experience. Pacific Coast Carpet is eminently deserving of its five star rating and diamond certification. They installed laminate flooring and from start to completion, their performance was truly extraordinary. To begin when I visited their store and expressed a strong interest in laminate, the sales person encouraged me to use laminate flooring. Never once did she try to push wood flooring or any other more expensive options. When Don the estimator came to my house, he was friendly, efficient, and explained in precise detail how he arrived at the estimate. Finally Scott the installer was the epitome of professionalism and craftsmenship. He worked diligently and the finished product is almost magical. Plus he liked my cats! I recommend Pacific Coast Carpet most strongly and enthusiastically.

These guys also own The Just Floors just down the street. They have fair prices on laminate and carpets. I use Pacific to repair vinyl at rentals I own. Also purchase laminate flooring from them at very fair prices.

My wife and I got wood floor put in last month with Pacific Coast Carpet. While their price wasn’t the absolute lowest, it was competitive and with the deals we got through them on area rugs I believe it would’ve matched the lowest estimate we got from one of those «major» flooring companies. Also, I prefer to spend my money on local family owned businesses. Where Pacific Coast really shined is in their customer service and installation. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and had an extensive selection, way more choices than Empire. I highly recommend them and will be using them again when we redo our upstairs carpets. BIG Thumbs Up!

We purchased our floors and carpet from Pacific Coast 8 years ago. When we decided to remodel we went back and Suzi was so helpful, but unfortunately the floor we had was no longer available. So without hesitation we purchased all new flooring from them a second time. The installers were great, they had to figure out a few things because this flooring was thicker than the last. They came up with quick solutions without any problems to make the job work. Our new floors look absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t be happier with Pacific Coast Carpet and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to deal with honest, helpful people.
