Amazing food!!! Small and quaint, but soooo worth it! We got the Jerk Chicken, Rice and Beans, tomales, and Croquets! The mojitos are also phenomenal and sneak up on you!

Hidden in a little side street but definitely worth visiting! Their menu is rotating. Tried their mac and cheese with pork belly which was very flavorful! Also enough to feed 3 people. Had the blackberry mojito which I would highly recommend as well.

It is important to understand this is a tapas restaurant so portions won’t be close to that of a full plate if you go for dinner. Fear not because if you’re looking for flavor, creativity and food presentation that is on point then you’ve come to the right place. I’ve been here twice and have yet to be disappointed. My favorite aspect of SODA is the rotating menu that changes from time to time testing my OCD of wanting to try one of everything.

This was #2 on my Puerto Rico list… didn’t think it was going to happen… we hit #1 on my list twice(Vagon)…then wandered around that hood… late at night as we were walking back to our hotel… we happened to walk right past here! so of course we had to stop in for a drink. Atmosphere is super chill. drinks were reasonably priced service was friendly they have valet available… there is tons of inside seating… bar seating and an outdoor patio…

We needed a place to eat that was close by. My daughter Unilocaled this restaurant. I am so glad she did. One of the best blackberry mojito’s I have ever tasted. The food was amazing. Olivia had stuffed portobello mushroom with spinach and Gouda cheese. Joseph had Mac and Cheese with BACON. Cecilia had beef tacos with guacamole and cabbage. I had shrimp quesadillas with guacamole, cheese, and some yummy sauce. The décor of the restaurant reminded me of Lowbrow in Montrose, Texas. Great dinner !

Don’t let the exterior fool you! Inside is an eclectic décor, excellent service(English & Spanish) and great tapas. Did I mention the best mojitos on the island!

We did several appetizers and they had terrific flavor. The egg rolls, ribs and the calamari were standouts. Great hangar steak. Really cozy and homey feel. Terrific alternative to the hotel restaurant. Really glad we made it here.

This place is amazing. Everything we tried was delicious and it was the hole-in-the-wall type place I was yearning for after eating around the hotel for too many meals. The ribs were fantastic, with nutmeg? Allspice? Cloves? that made them both familiar and surprising. The croquette rice balls were cooked to perfection with crispy rice on the outside and a very flavorful and appropriately spiced tomato sauce. The mac n cheese was over-the-top decadent with the pork belly.(Note it’s quite large and very rich, so share it with 3+ people.) I also really enjoyed the creamy portobello, but the ribs and rice balls were my all-stars. The vibe in the place is nice, with hip art on the walls(on the walls, not hanging) and a nice drink selection. It wasn’t busy, service was good, lighting was nice, and there wasn’t distastefully loud music. It’s a place I wish we’d discovered sooner because I could have eaten half of our meals there. The price for the meal for two was as much as we paid elsewhere, but was 3x as good.

Very cool eclectic spot that you won’t regret stopping at one bit! Don’t judge a book by its cover & check it out! Highly recommend the egg rolls, insanely good fried rice w/pork belly, calamari with awesome aioli! Baked mac & cheese was great with Gouda & the steak with portobello mushrooms is absolutely winner winner! The sauces to everything makes you want to lick the plate!

This place is so cute! A bit small, but the artistic atmosphere makes up for it. Service was friendly but a bit lacking – we had to wait in between dishes so our party didn’t get their food all at once. We started off with an appetizer of eggrolls. They were different – filled with a sort of fried rice, which was good, until we received the order of fried rice later on in the meal and realized it was the exact same thing. I really liked my strawberry mojito, even though they ran out of the drink I ordered. I ordered the pork belly and fried rice dish – which was really sweet and a little offputting. My friend’s dish, the pork belly macaroni and cheese was pretty good. Another friend’s order, the meatballs and gnocchi was a little bland. All in all, I liked the atmosphere and the idea of the food, but the execution was a little lacking.

Great little restaurant. Food was very good and good selection. Out of town so read the review on Unilocal and right around the corner from the hotel so thought I would try it and was not disappointed. Service was good and was busy but didn’t wait long for the food. View of the kitchen was neat to see the food being prepared. Had the Mac n Cheese with bacon which was soooo good and gooy. Watching everything come out I could have had a lot more but was very filling what I had. I would recommend this place a try if you looking for a casual place to eat and try some interesting things.

Excellent food ! Relaxed ambiance, very low key, Puerto Rican hipster style… great mojitos. Had for starters egg roll stuffed with bistec encebollado and mixed rice and beans, fried calamari as entrée churassco with outrageous string potatoes sautéed in mayo-ketchup. Looking at the place, you wouldn’t expect to find what is inside… outstanding !!! Previous review says part of gas station… no, it is next door to the gas station and it is super cool and cute !!

Excelente servicio, nitido el lugar y la comida a otro nivel! Las costillas, los sliders, los egg rolls, los nachos de canguro, las croquetas de cornbeef, los dumplings todo demasiado bueno! Me encanta el lugar! Recomendado!!!

I would never have found this place on my own without a tip from a local friend. It is literally a hole-in-the-(gasoline station)-wall restaurant/bar, with a divey hipster feel. My waitress was super nice and helpful, though not too comfortable with English(great excuse to dust off that AP Spanish vocab!) I ordered the steak and rice eggrolls and portobello with mozzarella, spinach, and tomatoes. To die for. The eggrolls were deep fried to perfection and perfectly paired with what tasted like your standard«Chinese» restaurant sweet and sour sauce. The cream eand cheese on the mushroom was a winner. The menu rotates though, so pretty sure you will get to try something different but equally as good!:) It was more than enough for one person, and it ended up being almost 30 bucks, so this is not an inexpensive place. Totally worth it though. Next time I come, I will try the drinks!

Kangaroo Nachos and Mac & Cheese! Best ever! The restaurant has an extreme Brooklyn Hipster vibe to it and they play really cool music. That is was got me. My friends raved about the food and I couldnt wait to try it. The 3 of us ordered two plates of the kangaroo nachos(4 wonton nachos per plate) and an order of the Mac & Cheese. Please don’t let the thought of kangaroo meat gross you out. It has the texture of beef and the sauce on it was sweet. The mac and cheese was baked in the oven ontop of a garlic pita bread type of concoction. I highly recommend this place!

Let me say first I have zero problem $ 15 per tapas. I do, frequently, in DC. And I was eager to try a modern PR restaurant. Yet this is a place that tries a little too hard, and fails to deliver. I simply cannot even come close to recommend it. We tried the shrimp tacos(2 for $ 15), which despite the regular grocery market flour tortillas had good size and flavor. Cripsy, fresh shrimps. The ribs were Fall off the bone, and yet there was no flavor. The cheviche was way too lemony — in fact you couldn’t taste anything else. What really annoyed us is the attitude and the details. a) The waiter was visibly annoyed we didn’t want to order alcoholic drinks, b) He charged 2 per glass of watered down soda(glasses full of ice) without ever telling us that it was a per glass charge c) Out of the first 3 things we wanted to order, 2 were not available due to «lack of ingredients» d) Owner/partner doing«burns» with his Mini Copper right in front of the restaurant was loud and annoying.

Cool little underground dive restaurant located in Miramar. We were only here for a short time while we waited to meet other people for dinner at another restaurant, so we didn’t order much, but what we did order was delicious. We got the risotto as an appetizer, it came out very quickly with some flatbread pieces and was absolutely delicious. Well cooked and well seasoned. For drinks, I had a few raspberry mojitos… homemade, not of that nasty mixer bullshit. Very good drinks. Overall, the total came out to something like $ 40 for 4 or 5 drinks and the risotto. Not bad at all. Would definitely go back.

Nice intimate local San Juan gastro pub. Its feels like the place locals go. Order a raspberry mojito at the bar while you wait. Its a very creative interior and locally owned. The staff are very warm and friendly; they recommended other similar places for after dinner drinks. **Beware***, this is a small place and you might have to wait for a while to get a table. Would have given a 5 star but Soda hosted a jazz band that was far too loud and cramped for the venue(and we usually like live bands). Otherwise, a very nice choice. Easy walk from Hilton Caribe. Its located on a side street from Ponce De Leon. This is a very neighborhoody place.

This place was right across from where we stayed, so we dined here after checking in our hotel. It’s very homey inside and we sat in the back where the booth was like a sofa– with a bunch of comfy pillows and cute pans hanging on the ceiling. The menu is very small and most of the items are tapas. We started with the ceviche– it was super small, but cute. Next, we tried the pork belly– there was quite a bit of fat, but the portion was bigger. We asked for tostones, which wasn’t on the menu, but they made some for us. I liked it, especially with the spicy sauce they gave us. The last thing we ordered was the sliders and they were tiny, but flavorful. Service was nice, but prices seemed high for the portions of food.
