Avoid this place at all cause! I should have known than to pick this location. We were on our last day in Rome and headed out to dinner a bit late and settled for this place since it was around the corner from us and all the good places were full. The best part was at the end, took about +30 mins to get our checks after we asked for it. They finally came out with checks for the 3⁄6 tables(not including us) and we still had to ask for ours again. It was ridiculously overpriced for the mediocre meal and horrendous service. If you are having issues with your card machines the least you can do is explain that to more than half of your customers. The owners and even chefs walking inside looked very amused by all this when we had to physically go in to finally pay. If all this money is being charged for meals at least have a good card machines. In terms of a nice meal I would not recommend. Really nice places on Via Della Madonna dei Monti which is on the other side of this place.

This place is a joke! Took me over an hour to get the clams with spaghetti. The dish was served cold and extremely salty. I requested the spaghetti carbonara as a replacement and trust me I had better in Brooklyn cooked by Dominicans. This place is a tourist trap. Avoid at all cost.

Had a great lunch out in the street in an outside tent with heaters. Worked great because it was raining! Had the margarita pizza.

Tourist trap! We were so hungry and this place happened to be the only one in the area that was still open during the time. SLOWEST service EVER!!! Understandable that the lifestyle here is to sit back and relax, but it is typically that way only after you have your meal! We had to sit here for who knows how long, waiting for our simple dish to come, and we’ve been sitting here for another eternity after we’ve asked for the bill. Food was alright. Not too disappointing, but if other restaurants were open at this time, I would definitely choose elsewhere.

went with my son last was not crowded at all but a waiter took us to a small room in the back. we were soon given menus but were then left alone & ignored. after about 15 mins we got up and walked out. the waiter just kind of gave us a look like who cares. the wait staff is non italian by the way. we left and went across the street to pizzeria imperiale that had better prices & a friendly italian wait staff. they seem to have an attitute like they’re some kind of fancy upscale restaurant. i hope they go out of business asap!(Lol)

Just stopped in for drinks while waiting out a sudden downpour near the coliseum. Service was ok, maybe a little slow. Prices were high, like all the tourist traps and nothing that we saw come out of the kitchen looked particularly attractive. Also, the beer they gave me was on the warmer flatter side. It was also pretty crappy for an expensive beer, stick to wine in Italy was the lesson I took away. We did get the fruit salad too, it was very refreshing and the fruit was pretty good quality. I say 3 stars because I’d go back out of convenience, not choice, and when I went I’d expect the same«good, not great» experience.

Kids and I have tomato pasta and pasta carbonara and it was delicious! Gelato is the best one we had so far! Staff was very nice to us and the service was prompt. Restrooms are nice and clean. So far this was the best place to came across in our walking thru Rome adventures.

Everything about it was underwhelming. Its in a somewhat touristy location near the Colosseum and anywhere you go there is a tourist trap, but I’m sure theres places that you’ll get better value for your money. The drinks are overpriced, around € 20 for the cheapest wine option or € 5 – 6 for a glass, and soft drinks aren’t any better. We also ordered one of their € 6 milkshakes and it was alright but came in a pretty small glass considering the price. I had the spaghetti bolognese and my girlfriend had the chef’s special fettucine. My sauce was bland and tasted like canned tomato sauce mixed with some ground beef, and while hers was better, it was still among some of the worst pasta we’ve had in Italy. The service was awful, not only did we have to wait around 5 minutes for someone to even bring us menus, but it took so long waiting for our cheque I had to go inside and ask them again for it in order to pay. If you’re in the area, I’d go somewhere else, even though from the outside it looks like one of the nicer restaurants nearby

Had the Bucatini. It was fine but not great. Seemed a little oily to my taste. We ate in a nice outdoor eating area and the inside looks fancy.

BEWARE: this poor excuse for a restaurant is a tourist trap, 40 minutes to get our drinks, and then 20 more minutes for the entry course to arrive. Food’s not even good, way too spicy without any notice on the menu or from the(impolite) waiter, and I’m worried I might get food poisoning from the seafood

Excellent restaurant near the Colosseum. I recommend trying the Chef’s fettuccine or the bucatini. Both were very good, though the bucatini is not particularly spicy, as advertised, though still very flavorful. Nearly everyone around us had a pizza, which is on a separate menu. Outside seating available and filled by 19.30. Give it a try!
