Wait this is considered fast food in Italy?
Lasagnam is a fine example of the fact that Italians take food seriously so even fast food is more delicious than many restaurants in the US. Here you can get lasagna meal or even fried calamari meal for € 10 or less at fast food speed, and even though it’s not as good as what you would get in the more expensive restaurants in Rome, the food here is really solid! Trust me, it’s so good that you would wonder why you would ever pay $ 15 – 20 USD for subpar Italian food in the US ever again when the Roman fast food is exponential better.
Plus, the people here are super nice. They taught me a few Italian phrases when I tried to order in Italian: D
Anyway, Lasagnam is located near the Roman Forum area, just down the street between Fori Imperiale and the tourist information complex. The Roman ruins lack food, so this is a nice place to get a food break as you take yourself back into the days of the Caesars! Plus, there’s free WiFi too.

I was here in mid February on my second day in Rome. I ate lunch here. It was fast food Italian. The food was actually good and reasonably priced (actually pretty cheap, and like everywhere else in Europe soft drink sizes are not what they are in America, they’re much smaller.) Of course I had the lasagna bolognese I think it was called but I also ate the fries and chicken nuggets, those good as well. I was really hungry and the restraurant is located on a side street near the coliseum. They have wifi so after lunch I sat at the table and planned more sightseeing. The restaurant was also full so I guess that’s a good sign. I probably wouldn’t have known about this restaurant if I hadn’t been handed a flier down by the coliseum. Definetly recommend for fast and inexpensive.

Bem, de longe lembra muito os fastfood que estamos familiarizado… Tem combos combinados com as lasanhas, e também tem batata frita. Porém, a lasanha a bolonhesa é extremamente forte ate no seu tempero, seu gosto… não consegui comer nem até a metade do prato, fiquei nas batatas mesmo. Recomendo por ser extremamente rápido, o atendimento foi ok.

we stumbled upon tihs place while strolling to the Coliseum, and the great prices drove us in.
it´s basically fast food. the lasagna I ordered was sitting on the conter. it was pretty spicy for a carbonara, but it was pretty good. the fried mix (french fries, chicken nuggets and meatballs) was pretty good as well.
my girlfriend didn´t like the food too much. she complained that the tomato sauce was too strong. I wouldn´t mind going there again, mostly because of how fast we got served

Algo que sólo en Italia puede pasar: Un fast food de lasaña. Sólo lasañas con diferentes rellenos, y en combos con papas y gaseosa como si fuera una hamburguesería yanqui. Las lasañas ya están preparadas en bandejas individuales y las calientan en un horno a pedido. Más allá de la extraña combinación de lasaña con papas, hay que reconocer que la idea está buena, las lasañas son muy ricas en serio y que las papas son espectaculares, son como soufflé e impregnadas en queso parmesano. Lo que parece una salida rápida para turistas, que lo es, fue una gran sorpresa.

Great place to catch a quick and cheap eat close to the colosseo. They have wifi and an ipad for customers to use. They have 6 lasagnas and 4 salads as well as drinks and some desserts.

For TOURISTS! If your budget is not looking so good, this little place is just for you in Rome. This is like a fast-​food type Italian restaurant run by a group of filipinos. I had a salmon lasagna and my friend had a salmon salad. We were both pleased with our choices. No ripping off here if you are getting tired of being ripped of at restaurants in Italy!
