Service is absolutely horrible and food is okay, nothing special. We were seated immediately but after that the service just went downhill. It took forever for the waiter to take our order, our food didn’t come at the same time, and it was took awhile to get our check. I do not recommend coming here.

Great location near the Colosseum and Forum. Good food: salads, pasta, bread, beer. Fast service but not pushy. Clean.

Just about everything you could ask for. Great area of the city near the Colosseum. I was only in Rome for two nights so don’t have a lot to go by, but I had great fettuccine which was reasonably priced. Waiters spoke English very well. The atmosphere made for an enjoyable dinner.

Went for a late lunch. We had the risotto verde and lasagne. It was okay but nothing more. We were seated quickly, the service was mostly friendly. The location is nice: Near to the forum romanum as well as colloseum. The patio is nice and has a leaf roof, which is great when the sun is shining so you and sit outside but in the shadow.

Offered a nice lunch under a tree canopy. We walked in after finishing up at the Forum and it was just what we were seeking for lunch. There bathrooms were very clean and food was fresh. Service was a bit lacking and there was a bit of a wait but I was pleased.

Bruschetta and soup were great! Maybe it is a tourist trap and prices are a bit high but the little food we had was definitely good

This place was excellent. We expected so little from an Italian restaurant at Ground zero to the Colosseum and Pantheon ruins in Rome. The place you just know will be a let-down. It had all the signs of an overpriced tourist trap. We were hungry and hot, and this was open and available so we walked in. ** We were very pleasantly surprised that the service was very attentive, the food was nice and fresh and tasted authentic, and the restaurant and restrooms were clean and tidy. Amazing that were had low expectations and walked away thinking how satisfied we were and the pleasant experience. It was nice to sit outdoors, enjoy a beer and salad and pizza and feel relaxed and refreshed at the end of the meal. The price is a few € more than you would pay elsewhere however given the geography and traffic, it makes sense. We would definitely revisit next time we are in Rome.

Located so close to the colleseum you tend to think twice to enter a place like this because it smells of tourist trap. However after a great late lunch here it made me rethink tourist traps. One star for the fact that they serve even after 3pm. Which can be a nightmare to get food here in Rome during their dedicated snack time. second star for having a very cool covered patio which helps you escape a hot summer Day in Rome. Chose from the menu of the day. Since the food tends to be better. Had the lamb. and it was hands down one the best I ever had. Meat was so tender that it melted in your mouth. Service here I can see be hit and miss. In fact I saw both sides of my waiter who treated my table well and friendly but was rude and insulting to another table that was asking some questions to another waiter since they couldn’t get his attention. that can kill anyone’s meal… If you are taking one of those tour companies to the colleseum this place seems to be located very close to many of there offices which are just a short walk from the restaurant. Good place to escape the heat, but be caution for this place may be a hit or miss.

The best pizza on the planet, in my opinion. I always make a point to eat there when in Rome. Ask for Walter as your waiter.

Pasta was mediocre, the Caprese was actually quite underwhelming. Their location pulls Ina lot of tourists but the food is mediocre at best. Better options around.

Definitely a tourist trap with its location close to the Colosseum. Surprisingly, the minestrone soup was good but that mushroom & sausage pizza though! The mushrooms were bathing in a pool of its own juice. Pizza was so soggy it was dripping and falling apart as we were eating it. Not great, expensive, would not come back… kind of sums up Rome too.

This is a decently good restaurant near the Forum Romanum and the via dei Fori Imperiali, but not great. It has a nice seating area outside under shady vines, etc. Service is decent but cold. Pasta we had was serviceable, good but not very for Italy. Pizza was mediocre, hard and overcooked, a but crude all round. It was good enough but I would recommend trying somewhere else. It obviously caters to tourists but a the time we needed to eat and some members could go no further If you’re in that boat, it’ll do, and the location is convenient on that score while also pleasant due to the shade and surrounding sites. Prices are slightly on the higher side but not very for Rome, especially given the touristy area. They have gelato which is good but not memorable.

My husband and I ate here for dinner on our last night in Rome. We were pleasantly surprised by the food for the price, having just popped in because of the cute outdoor area and ambience. Our waiter, Valter, was very friendly, happy and attentive. I had ordered the minestrone soup to start, and it was so large we decided to share, and when he noticed we were sharing one spoon, he brought us one without us even asking. My husband had the lasagna which was very good — he devoured it in two bites(which says nothing of the portion size, it was a large slice). I ordered the Conchiglie«Ai Fori» which came in a little pot and was so delicious! Despite having a Parmesan cheese sauce, it was light and not too heavy on the cheese. The sliced mushrooms and peas were tender and added great flavor to the dish which also had prosciutto and sausage over pasta. The house wine was good, and the service was overall great. I had tiramisu for dessert and the ladyfingers were still fluffy and flavorful and not too soggy. My husband had an affogato-like ice cream with Gran Marnier that tasted like an adult creamsicle and was delicious! For 4 drinks, 2 entrees and 2 desserts our bill was only 64 €. Overall this place was a great experience with good food, one of the best meals we had in Rome.

This was a very good place we came upon, we were hungry and the first restaurant we saw we ate at, it could be good or bad well this was good! Our server was really fun and great we really enjoyed him sadly I forgot his name but the food was really good we ordered the meats and cheeses plate and it was amazing! The clam pasta was to die for! The pasta was so fresh that it almost melted upon touching it with a fork, highly recommend this place to anyone

We were told not to eat in the city as all the locals eat elsewhere. My feet were done and after checking the other reviews figured take a shot. I was not disappointed. I ordered the beef steak and salad. I could not finish due to the volume. Exceeded my expectations. Was also impressed by the local beer, I recommend the Costello.

Worst and most expensive place in Rome during our holiday! The view is fantastic and maybe that’s the reason there’s only tourists at the restaurant and the price is so enormously high. Got saltimbocca which was okay, my boyfriend got lamb which was so dry and overcooked. The portions are really small, the didn’t have any sidedishes left but French fries and the wine was so horrible, that we couldn’t even drink one glass. The staff didn’t seem to care and was indifferent. To persons, two main courses and wine — 75 €! You can get a lot better and cheaper in Rome…

I give it a 3.5. Great location for people watching and outdoor seating! The margerita pizza was amazing and the sauce was out of this world! Our server, however, was spacey and unattentive, even for Italian standards.

My friend and I walked by after we visited the Colosseum. We had high hopes for this place after seeing a couple of good Unilocal reviews, but, we were disappointed to say the least. The menu was misleading and the service was horrendous. The staff was not friendly and the food was overpriced for the quality. The restaurant itself had a very nice ambiance and a great location, however, I would not recommend this place. There are cheaper places to grab a bite to eat further down the street.

After seeing the the colosseum and the forum we came here on our way to the pantheon and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the pasta carbonara and an espresso. The pasta was made at the restaurant from scratch and it was great. The espresso was good but didn’t blow me away so to speak. Great location and good food for the money, I would definitely suggest coming here.

Reine Zufallsentdeckung!

We were in Roma for 5 days, and ate at Angelino’s 3 times. Their margherita pizza, bruschetta, and rigatoni I could every day of my life. You eat outside with a beautiful trellace covered in vines above and on the side of you. Their house wine is perfect– Also, this is located across from the Roman Forum, blocks away from the Colosseum.

Grace C. and I walked to Angelino Ai Fori because we were looking for gelato. It’s down the street from Flor, a place I had bookmarked but found it closed on the day we went. We found it here at a café stand. They also serve coffee here and you can opt for standing room service or sit down service on the patio. You go inside and pay at the register and then they will assist you outside where you can pick the flavors. I chose 2(chocolate and egg custard) on a cone. For our first taste of gelato, it wasn’t bad. We were probably the only two people having gelato on a 50 degree partly cloudy day in Rome but we didn’t care. We walked from the café to the Colosseum enjoying our 2 euro cones.
