Summer Ice

The café opened on 27 Dec 2014 and I’ve visited it 2 times already. The menu items are quite limited but for the ice creams and waffles I’ve tried they are all quite good. So I’ve tried the following so far: Japanese Style Ice Cream, Chocolate Banana Ice Cream, Chocolate Banana Waffle and Mixed Berries Waffle. For the ice cream, they use Hokkaido ice cream as the base, topped with red bean paste and Jap fruits. The ice cream is very creamy and rich. Banana are caramelised, some effort has been put here. The waffles are crispy and hot. One drawback is that the preparation time for the waffles are quite slow (written on the window outside the store saying waiting time 20 — 30 min). I’m kind of prepared with magazine and headphones, so it’s okay for me. However some people just couldn’t stand the waiting time and left after ordering, which is not good to the business.
