Cute place in a cute neighborhood! It has a traditional hole-in-the wall feel and offers many traditional Chinese desserts, but also has an extensive selection of western desserts, including the trendy lava cake. Mango dessert: I don’t remember the name, but it was delicious: layers of flaky pastry alternating mango custard, with pieces of sweet canned mango on top. A bit hard to share unless you split it by horizontally layers, but we felt that it would take away from the experience, texture, and flavors of eating multiple layers. The mango ice cream was good as well, with a nice aromatic mango taste. The chocolate lava cake was a bit dry and overdone(seemed more like a brownie than a cake), but overall it was tasty and the fudge filling was done quite well and was very chocolatey. Plus, vanilla ice cream always makes things even better. They are surprisingly expertise on presentation – everything was so pretty that I took multiple pictures to admire all the different angles.(Though they could have used a little bit more of an attention to detail because a close-up of the mango ice cream shows funny bumps on the scoop). Conclusion: tasty and pretty food in a homey ambiance
