Open on Mondays unlike the other location in Wan Chai! This location is new and only sells a limited menu! It was my last day in HK and I was excited that this location was opened but quickly disappointed when I found out they don’t serve«the mob». They only serve one sundae combination– the night wolf. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and recommended me their eggette special — the Chinese sausage eggette! I was skeptical at first but it was the B-O-M-B-diggity. It had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. FYI they take credit cards

Our group has visited Oddies 3 times in our 5 day trip to HK. Every flavor, every combo has been absolutely perfect. The night wolf is a can’t miss! We also tried the peanut butter and nutella meringues. They were both fresh and tasty.

I’ve been here twice after lunch now during the week. It seems to be popular destination for a quick dessert after lunch. One of the two days they only had 1 staff during the rush and things took a while. Desserts are always yummy here, no matter what flavour of ice cream they have that’s new. Egg waffles with chocolate chips are delish, they use good dark chocolate. The batter is not as crispy as the traditional type. No free water available, if you want water to go with your dessert, it’s going to cost you $ 20HKD. You may want to bring your own.

I finally made it to the Central store of this popular dessert spot. My friend and I went at around 9:30pm on a Wednesday evening and it pretty dead. I didn’t mind because this allowed me to lolligag and try different gelato flavors. Instead of having the different monster-sized creations like the original Wan Chai store, the specialty at this store is their gelatos. All of the unique flavors are created by themselves. Don’t expect the plain«chocolate» or «pistachio» here. All of their flavors are a unique combination of different things. They’re super fun and innovative, and most importantly, extremely tasty. Although the person patiently let us try a wide variety of the flavors, my friend and I decided to share the classic Night Wolf, the only creation from the Wan Chai store that is served here. It was just as amazing as I remembered it. The chocolate is a rich, dark chocolate flavor and we got to pick the base flavor. We chose a mixed berry. If you’re looking for a fun, innovative dessert place, I would definitely recommend Oddies.

Does Oddies ever disappoint? Its new outpost in Central offers the same great flavors, plus a new range of gelato for everyone to try. The popular«Night Wolf» is also being offered here, in addition to monthly-changing ‘meringue rocks’ flavors. They currently have nutella(yes!!) and almond. One key difference between this shop and the one in Wan Chai is that they offer seating here – a big bonus if you’re looking for a place to sit down and enjoy your dessert.
