Great little neighbourhood drinking hole with a relaxed atmosphere. Sidewalk tables and a somewhat tight seating arrangement inside. Great selection of beers and wines, with limited food choices(only a share plate), but of a good standard. Friendly staff with great service. Will be back again for sure!

Funky little bar in an art shop. Great for a casual catch up with a small group of friends. Had the tasting plate, $ 25, chicken wings, chorizo, olives, oysters bread and cheese.

I really like this secret little spot. The bar is just a room, which you can only access by walking through an art gallery off Rokeby Road. The bar has a very European feel, as well as making you feel very comfortable, like someone has opened the door to their house for you to enjoy a drink or two. There is some limited seating outside too. There’s only limited food available. When I was in there last we ordered the platter for $ 25 and it was overflowing with quality gourmet nibbles; Sicilian olives, fresh bread, cheese and cured meats.

Warmly welcomed by staff, great atmosphere. The place is just like my grandmas, kitsch furniture and antiques. Murray(one of the owners) decided an impromptu showing of Casablanca was fitting and projected it onto one of the bar walls. The wine list is good and ever changing, the share plate is make for your number of diners. Can’t speak more highly of this little local bar. A brilliant spot.

I loved Juanita’s it’s got a wonderful cosy feel inside with a great selection of wine and beer. The paintings that surround decorate the rooms perfectly and the tasting plate had a great selection of yummy snacks. The crowd is mixed, all ages and all walks and they have an outside area for the warmer months. It takes you somewhere far away from Perth… somewhere closer to Paris.

Charming, quaint and authentically European; this endearing little tapas and wine bar transports me to a hide-away café somewhere in Paris. Juanita’s is very small and subtly decorated with Art Deco trimmings. The walls are pinned with a few of Murray Gill’s paintings; who owns the art shop at the front and is husband to lovely Juanita. Juanita’s would be perfect for bringing someone on a romantic and relaxed date. I can also see myself coming here with a couple of close friends to enjoy a bottle of French wine accompanied by some of their tapas plates. The tapas are simple; mostly made of only a trio of fresh ingredients. They’re served from a baine-marie; this style is very true to what you’d find in Pinxtos bars in Spain. Juanita also conjures up some hot, fresh cooked share dishes and serves coffee from morning to evening as well.
