Absolutely shocking treatment here. Booked my birthday dinner for 10 for last Saturday night. On the day I called and spoke with the owner to ask if they had room for my friends newborn baby in a pram. Was told no unless we sat outside. We declined as it was going to be too cold to sit outside in the middle of winter and said we would keep our table inside. Rocked up that night to find we had been put outside. With no warning we were not appropriately dressed and one heater did not suffice for the table of 10. When we spoke to the waitress she said the owner put us outside as we requested it. The waitress then continued to say that the people on our table inside had booked«ages ago», even though earlier that day we had been promised that table. I asked if they had double booked the table to which the reply was no(?!). We were then told that the owner would come out to talk to us, only for another waitress to come out and ask us «what the problem was». Handled appallingly. We decided to go up the road to Meeka Moroccan restaurant who were absolutely lovely and so accommodating. Food was also sensational.

Lovely Lady of Ro — totally tasty Greek and Mediterranean delights have come to Subi. Few things to consider before choosing to dine here: 1) don’t recommend you come here with a group of more than 4. Mostly because you won’t get a table. 2) ref point 1, you need to arrive at 6pm or a little before to get a table. Cannot book and this place is full by 645. 3) points for being BYO! Ok, if you can adhere to all of that then you will love this place! Everything is designed to share, ever changing menu drawn up daily on a chalk board. There’s nothing over complicated here, just wholesome, clean and authentic. If available, I had the enormous garlic butter prawns. Now these are not the 80s styled Witch’s Cauldron prawns, they are barbecued and dressed with garlic butter. Really plump and fleshy too. I also enjoyed the housemate soughdough and dips. The desserts were pretty good too. Enjoy!
