From the moment you step into Sisters Supa IGA you can tell things are different. They have sanitised wipes for your shopping trolley for the germaphobe types. They also have drink holders in their trolleys, so you can grab a cappucino at the café near the entrance and enjoy the strong coffee while you stroll around the shop. This supermarket has cult status with parents in Joondalup. Why? Because it has a crèche. So, if your child is old enough and toilet trained you can leave them to play with the carers and do your shopping in peace. For those without children there is a noticeable lack of little people running around, getting in the way or destroying the place. So it is a win win for everyone. There is a large deli and bakery section with lots of yummy things. For the those missing Mother England this store has a large range of drinks, lollies and other foods imported from the UK.

This is as close to a British super market as you will get. I know to most Australians that won’t make much sense and I am in no way judging any other supermarket. Or Australian super markets in general. I am simply saying this one is better. I say close to a British super-market as it is huge for a start and it has a large amount of variety in every product. There is so much competition in the UK and I think that is why they have so much to chose from. I could spend hours in here, and by ‘could’ I mean I have. They have a massive fruit and veg section, a deli at the back that serves some amazing stuff, ready cooked meals and delicious olives! Even the juice section is massive, even single juice brand and flavour possible! They also have a lot of staff so although it is busy sometimes you don’t have to wait that long, making it an even more pleasant experience!
