I’m in two minds as I write this review; I want to sing their praises as they are well deserved but on the flip side I don’t want to oversell them as I don’t want other people to know how great this place is! Ha! Seriously though, Peaberrys is a small, quiet little café at the Kmart end of Lakeside and it never disappoints. The food is great, the prices are much lower than most the other Cafes with no skimping on the quality and the staff are always friendly, upbeat and a delight to deal with. Would give it more stars if I could. Will return many times.

Love the cute atmosphere here, you don’t feel like you are in a busy shopping centre. Staff are always lovely and service prompt. Food is good and they do lovely cakes but the coffee is just awful. Fix that and it would be a really lovely spot as the menu is very well priced.

Peaberry is the kind of coffee shop you can take your Mum or Grandmother to. On the outside of Lakeside Shopping Centre, on Thursdays this place is packed with the local pensioner set who have been at the banks across the road getting their pensions. The food and coffee is average, but well priced. The service is friendly and quick.

Whenever Mum comes and meets me for lunch this is where she takes me. It is tucked away a bit in one of the quieter entrances of a busy Lakeside. It is quaint and similar to Miss Mauds. The staff wear cute uniforms, so it seems like an old school coffee shop. The service is great right from walking in. Smiles from the girls and they are quick to take your order. The food comes out quite fast and is great quality. I always order a healthy sandwich, filled with cottage cheese, avocado, celery and alf alfa. It is delicious and really good for you, and you get the choice of white or brown bread. And on a not so healthy note, the chips are out of this world! So tasty. They do a great iced coffee too. Its actually a really nice lunch time eater. Especially when Mum’s paying!

This is a cute coffee shop. Now when I say cute, I mean when the sun shines in through the roof it looks like a lovely, poetic scene of people laughing over coffee with friends or sipping a tea over the paper. But when the sun is gone, it’s dark and loud in there. I try and steer clear when I can but they have some really good food and it’s not as expensive as in the food court, which I Iike. The service is ok, but it leaves something lacking. The way I see Peaberry’s is the indie sister of Miss Maud. Make of that what you will.
