Of all of the countless charity stores and op shops in Freo, this was the least expensive with the warmest feeling inside.
Having got caught up in the sunshine I wandered a little further than expected and ended up a long way from home down South Terrace. When «Save the Children» broke my trance and I tried to recall ever seeing one of these shops before– nope, first time for me. So I entered to find racks with signage starting from «$ 1-$ 3» That’s insane– what great value! I almost felt like I should be wearing a balaclava and wielding a gun but I modestly bought one collared shirt and graciously thanked the shop assistant as she put my gold coin towards a brighter future.
If you are a serial shopper and you like contributing to a good cause then this charity could be your new addiction!
