In this little charity boutique you’re more likely to unearth a hidden treasure than in most. The items in here have been handpicked to rise above the ranks of the usual op shop cast-​offs and have made it to the dizzy heights of the Red Cross’ ‘Red Threads’ fashion boutique concept. With a collection of both recycled and new one-​off pieces, it’s vintage shopping with a conscience. Having said that, I’ve never found anything truly wonderful in here, although they do a particular good line in hideously gorgeous 70s-​style patterned shirts at very affordable prices.
