I didn’t really believe that one could find good quality cheap vintage until I entered this store. I don’t really believe in paying extra for someone’s tea-stained coffee table just because it’s been blessed as a granny-kitsch relic, so it’s either Ikea or your standard garage sale for moi. I used to ride my bike past this shop frequently and always assumed that with a name like Shebella, they probably stocked second-rate Moroccan furniture, the type that smells of poor quality paint and turps. Ick. As is best with most second-hand stores, it’s best not to judge a book(or a store) by it’s cover(or it’s front window). Shebella’s definitely defied my first impressions. Shebella’s has loads of pre-loved furniture and home wares, all reasonably priced and some quite stylish. I’m quite smitten with their wicker furniture and a white dressing table they have the moment. Most items have occasional signs of wear and tear, but prices are incredibly budget friendly.
