Their coffee was amazing! Service was great, as is the wifi in this quirky hidden little café. I was also extremely impressed that a kind homeless man came past for a chat and they offered him a coffee for free to keep him warm on a cold winters day. There should be more people like this.

The building that this café resides in(the Place, if you will) is stunning. Unfortunately for me, that was where the joy of the morning ended. The service was neutral, the coffee was bad, the very loud children at the school across the road(I’m not a creep) were on morning break(the WHOLE time I was there? Really? LONGESTMORNINGBREAKEVER this is not okay if I’m pre-caffeinated and possibly even worse when the coffee is bad) and the breakfast menu wasn’t awesome. It wasn’t even really a breakfast menu, it was more of a «I guess we have some foodstuffs here» menu. I ordered the Nutella, pear and coconut on bread, because that combination sounded pretty awesome… but the pear was tinned and the coconut was desiccated. My day just really started off on the wrong foot at Vincent’s Place and that made me pretty sad because it’s such a cool building.
