I sometimes feel a bit sorry for whoever owns Pagoda. They opened about ten minutes walk down the street from the Albert Park shops, where the café singularity is probably about two months away. And yeah, they probably deserve a bit more traffic than they get — they do a nice spicy baked Moroccan egg for breakfast, they’ve got a comfy rear garden with a nice water feature, their coffee is tasty. So, if you’re in Albert Park and you’re up for a bit more of a walk than normal, you could certainly do a lot worse. Besides, the lack of foot traffic means that you’re liable to be served pretty quickly, and that’s always a good thing.

I really enjoy breakfast’s in the Albert Park area especially at the Pagoda Café. The environment is always warm, welcoming and friendly. The menu is constantly being updated with the latest food trends and showcasing fresh produce. The Bircher Muesli is amazing as well as the Pesto Eggs & Eggs Benie are always a crowd pleaser. It’s outdoor area is dog friendly and toddler & baby friendly which make it even more of a hit with the locals.
