I took my aunt and uncle to lunch at Coppersmith, food, wine and service was amazing; Hannah was an absolute legend looking after us

This is a relaxed place to hang out just for an impromptu bite or more formal dining. The atmosphere is fantastic and I really do like that they have wine on tap! It’s a bit like a gastro pub and I wish I could have sampled more food. The mini burgers were yum as was the big burger. Our waiter, Sylvester was a lot of fun and made for a great night! I also found out later on their website that it is actually a hotel with rooms.

The coppersmith takes pub dining up a notch. It has a good comfortable relaxing ambience with decent space between tables. We could hear each other talk! although this msy be different when it is full. Most importantly the food, wine. and service are all above expectation. we had 4 different mains and they were all excellent. A bit on the pricey side but worth it Heather

South Melbourne now welcomes the coppersmith hotel, a boutique destination offering premium accommodation and dining. Occupying the former site of the lamented, dingy, dark, and a little decaying the cricket club hotel. Coppersmith is brand new and swank. Offering the upmarket experience in the bar or bistro, with a bar/tapas menu, and warm and inviting sit down space for a formal dinner. The open kitchen leads into the bar, and bar tables surround the bar itself. A great range of spirits, and the wine list and other drinks are looking pretty good. Over a dozen rooms are available and the same goes for tap beers. The Coppersmith looks like set to be a leading go to destination. It’s great to have a bistro of this calibre and less of the very old style pubs.
