Via Property Management provides ridiculously good residential real estate management services to the greater Contra Costa County. We define success as ecstatically happy customers and we believe that is achieved by being exceedingly good at what we do.
To reach that goal, we focus exclusively on caring for single family residential real estate. We don’t sell or buy homes, we don’t manage commercial real estate, we don’t manage large apartment buildings. We instead focus our skills and expertise on detached homes, condominiums, townhomes and multi-family buildings no larger than 4 units.

History
Established in 2006.
Opening in 2006 as a «we do it all» real estate firm, admittedly novice founders Nathan & Erin Hitchcock learned lots of difficult lessons about running a business. Most important were 1) in the end, customer satisfaction is the only thing that matters, and 2) without focus, chaos will inevitably ensue.
So in 2014 the company was rebuilt from the ground up, focused exclusively on providing ridiculously good residential property management services. The unwritten mission statement of «do whatever real estate related stuff we can to make as much money as possible» was replaced with:
«To help great people realize the dream of leasing a home they love while providing the most phenomenal service experience ever.»
To underscore the importance of this «customer first» mission to every staff member, it is recited aloud as a pledge of allegiance at the beginning of each Monday staff meeting. The result is a team of dedicated professionals who don’t rest until the customer is 110% satisfied.

Business Owner
Nathan began a lifelong love affair with serving his community at age of 11, waking daily at 4:30am for 3 years to deliver the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper to 150 residents of Berkeley, California. His real estate career had equally humble beginnings in 1998 when he began a second job working nights and weekends as a handyman repairing rental homes for a small property management firm.
3 years later he and his wife scrounged up enough to buy their first home, which they personally renovated from floor to ceiling in their spare time. «I was 100% hooked on real estate from that point on,» recounts Nathan. «I loved anything and everything that had to do with houses.»
